We went to eat and got only a terrible service the waitress threw everything on the table and we always wait for a service more than 20 min and even when there are not many people waiting as if I was asking for something given away or it will bother you to attend us if you do not like your job change profession, it is not the first time this happens here but it will be the LAST, apparently they lack good waitresses that today are a disaster my suggestions will get better service in any other place .. This is a regular stop for our family and our church family. While the food usually tastes decent and the service is often slow, especially in the evening. I have to say I am appalled at the fact that, although the State of California required "wash your hands before returning to work" sign was on the door, for some reason it is within the law to no longer provide soap in the Women's Bathroom. The majority of Denny's servers in our area are female, and considering a woman in the restroom is more "hands on" than a man in the restroom, this is disgusting! While hand sanitizer is great to have in a pinch it by no means replaces the value or necessity of good old fashioned soap and water. In addition, the menu was so sticky pages had to be peeled apart, the waitress did not return with a check or ask if a to go box was needed, which it was. Is a tip absolutely necessary if half the waitress' job is done by the patron? (This is rhetorical, please do not respond to me) read more

Drinks were served right away but it took Thelma 30 minutes to take our order only after my husband went to go look for her. When she finally took our order, she seemed annoyed like she was doing us a favor. Restaurant was not busy or crowded. All the waitresses seemed upset and annoyed. Food was okay. Not coming here again. read more

They have a new waitress and she seems to be the only waitress there. She never seems to make eye contact with me, and she always stands close to my husband joking with him. She never brings me stuff I need for my meals like butter, syrup, etc... It is a shame I used to always love Denny's but my husband and I will have to go somewhere else. read more

Somedays are better than ever for your cooks, and waitresses. I love all of your new and old waitress.... But the new gurl cook is awesome I think that is lately the food is getting better. I also lobe the dedication y'all put in customer satisfaction. If I've ever not liked anything, anyone whether it be manager, waitress, bustgirl/boy, or cook, you've all gone beyond and over to make sure my family and I left with a smile. After 2 days out in the wilderness, hiking 30+ miles, my girlfriend and I had a hunger that some would call ravenous. With massive migraines and legs that didn't allow us to walk straight we stumbled upon something beautiful. An absolute breath of fresh air, the quintessence is servitude, the embodiment of joy and the American spirit, Sarah. Never in my life have I encountered a server with such talent, and so much fire. We went to this Denny's for the first time yesterday! We were greeted and seated soon as we walked in the door, by a very friendly hostess! Our waitress was at our table soon as we sat down, took our order and brought our drinks right away! Our food arrived in a very timely manner! You get so much food at such a reasonable price, and everything was delicious!! Our waitress was as sweet and attentive as can be! Anytime we're up in Red Bluff we will, for sure, go back to this Denny's! Also it was SO CLEAN!! read more

Sometimes they took forever to get us our food, and that one time it was full of those racist cowboys, but it's other wise a pleasant experience. I probably spent more money trying to get the rainbow Llama from the claw machine than I have on food here, like really 70 dollars. WORST. DENNY'S. EVER. This place is disgusting!! I think they need a new manager. One that's not so fat and lazy. One that doesn't stand in the kitchen where customers can see her stick her whole finger in her mouth!! Sick! I understand you are fat and hungry but people can see you!!! Maybe get a manager that actually makes people do their jobs instead of standing around talking and neglecting the people that actually go in there to eat. Make fresh coffee... If I could choose zero stars I would. Went to order food over the phone and got a girl named Ashley. Took her 15 minutes to take our order because she was to busy talking to coworkers. And while trying to ask her a question she hung up. So showed up to get food and had to deal with Ashley again. I don't care if you get high on your own time but work is not the place to be high. The food was soggy the hash browns were undercooked. Her service was crap (attitude eye rolling). Please clean up your workers here in red bluff California . Ok. Lets be real. This is Denny's, not some 5 star restaurant. With that being said, the food is good. Customer service is good. Beware though, if you have a CCW bring it. Tons of sketchy people live outside. Whether under the bridge close by or down the hill behind Denny's, you are almost certain to run into someone you dont want to. read more

It's Dennys you know what to expect. The Hostess/Waitresses were polite and attentive. The drinks were prompt & the food was served up quickly. We stopped in for a quick bite during a 4 hour road trip and it hit the spot. read more

We ate there about 2:00PM. The lunch rush was over and I only saw one waitress in the front area. We were quickly seated, asked about drinks and given time to check the menus. Ordered and quickly got out food. The day before we had a poor experience at another Denny's. Here the food was excellent. My sandwich was thick and well made. We decided to split a sandwich but out waitress brought two plates and a ton of French fries. While eating I watched out waitress. She was always moving and cleaning. The manager should be proud. This located with a Love's truck stop. These operations are always well run, well maintained and clean. Plus they are fun. read more

I had a to go order and the food was absolutely horrible. Nothing was even warm and it tasted old, stale and just awful. I ended up throwing some away because it was that bad. It's really bad to pay for something that's not cheap and the quality is worse than fast food. read more

Eat breakfast at Denny's off and on as my husband loves their pancakes but today service was horrible. Cooks had food stacked up and it was sitting for 15-20 minutes. Not that busy as around 10:30am. Cooks were screaming at waitresses to pick up food and waitress says they are not getting all the food ready at same time. Do not waste your time here. Go to Sheri's cafe down the street. read more

My husband and I came here for breakfast on a Saturday. The restaurant was completely full. It took about an hour for us to be seated and have our orders taken. We then sat in our booth for TWO HOURS before our waitress finally came over and told us that she just now realized that she had lost our ticket and that our food was just being started on. It took another half hour for us to finally get our food. During those 2.5 hours of sitting and waiting we were entertained by watching all of the staff have mental breakdowns and arguments right in front of the customers who were trying to pay for their food. I usually have sympathy for the staff when restaurants are busy, but this was completely ridiculous. Also, we drive past this restaurant every day and see that they are packed for every meal every single day, so they should know how to handle lots of customers. I am only giving this Denny's two stars instead of one because their food was decent. But we will not be coming back here. read more

We live in Red Bluff and there are not a whole lot of options for restaurants. Our daughter loves Denny's. We have eaten here quite a few times in the 10 years we have lived in Red Bluff. The last three times we have had the worst service. The food is always pretty good. No complaints, that is why I am giving it a 2. The waitress was not very attentive to when our drinks were empty and we had to ask for a refill. Even that did not work right. My daughter and I got refills but she took my husband's glass and did not return with it for at least 15 minutes! Again, we had to ask for it back! We also only had one set of silverware and a napkin. Had to ask for it, even after she set the food down and ran off before we could ask! Now I have worked in a restaurant and I could excuse her if it was busy but honestly, there were 4 tables in the whole restaurant. I even got up with my empty glass and asked for a refill of soda and she said "Okay". I stood there and she turned, and while giving the stink eye, said "I will bring it to you". Again, having worked in a restaurant, we understand it is quite difficult physically and she was no spring chicken. We gave her a 15% tip anyway and, it was not until we paid that she smiled for the first time and told us how much she appreciates tips because she is raising her grandchildren, etc. I guess she was hoping for a bigger tip. Here's a better tip - better service equals better tip. Doing the minimum should be just the price of the food with no tip! read more

I love Denny's, so I was excited to see one in Red Bluff. We just moved from Southern California and had the best Denny's in Fallbrook, Ca. I was horrified when we walked in and the floor was littered with leaves, grass and bits of paper. I thought, oh, well it just the entrance and someone must of tracked it in. When we sat down I noticed it was all over the restaurant. The floor looked like it hadn't been sweep in a week or more. My granddaughter ordered the nacho's and when the waitress brought it out it had no meat on it. My granddaughter ask the waitress if she could have some meat and the waitress brought it back with a big glob of meat mixture on top of the whole thing. It was disgusting. Our waitress told us she was training to become a waitress, but went and bused tables on the other side of the restaurant and never came back to ask how we were doing or refill our drinks. We put our drinks at the end of the table and after about 10 minutes another lady came over and refilled them for us. Apparently there was no busboy or cleaner for the restaurant. The bathrooms were too bad, but not real clean. The older lady was bragging to a customer that the owner had 37 Denny restaurants and was starting to buy Sizzler's. I wished he would have used that money to clean and update that restaurant. I am shocked that the health department had not shut them down. When we left my granddaughter said that was very disappointing (meaning food, service and cleanliness) and we would never go back. It is sad because we eat at Denny's at least 2 times a week. read more

We went to Denny's on Saturday August 23rd, 2014. We ordered build your own chicken taco's. The chicken had no taste, very little cheese, very little lettuce and the tortilla was rubbery. The last few times we have gone here the food has gone down hill. hashbrown's uncooked but scorched, etc... I won't be going there again, until I know they have a better cook or at least the one there now can do better. read more
