I went this morning for breakfast with my husband , I ordered the all American and asked if it was possible to add chocolate chips and bananas to my pancakes I know it was last second but if it couldn't have been done it would've been okay, I'm not the type to complain. I also ordered a hot chocolate, it tasted super watered down so I asked for a raspberry ice tea instead , it came in a dirty cup , I still didn't complain until my pancakes arrived , while I was digging in they tasted a bit odd , there was a little piece of grilled onion on my plate , I still didn't complain I thought maybe it fell in the kitchen onto my plate ? But the more I bit into my pancakes I realized there were grilled onions in the dough. What if I was allergic? That is so messed up I do not feel like I deserved that , the server looked annoyed with me when I would ask her for something , I am really upset with my experience , I did not deserve onions INSIDE of my banana pancakes and a dirty cup. read more

Everything was fresh. We went for breakfast. The service was great. Good was hot and tasty. Ambiance was relaxed. We were well pleased.

The manager himself sat us down and we ordered waters immediately and watched as he gave two other tables waters before us and then 10 minutes went by before someone even acknowledged us again. Take in mind there is 6 tables that are being occupied and us being #6. The young server was not rude or nothing but the manager was. He looked at us while giving the other tables waters and proceeded to not even update us on them just a blank and rude stare. We waited so long we were ready to order and actually ended deciding on leaving because imagine how long the food would have taken them. Terrible experience like usual. I really like this brand new Denny's. It is super convenient, especially being right next to the high school. The food is classic Denny's, the service every time I've been in there has been very good. And I like the smaller size of the new Denny's diners. Normally, I don't write reviews, but the last two encounters with this Denny's has been horrendous. We usually order our food to go. The girl at the front has attitude forgot most of the stuff we ordered. My wife had to drive back to pick it up, gave attitude when told they had forgotten the waffle with the berries I'd rather drive twice as far and go to a different Denny's. Very bad toast and the service: Mediocre-not too happy to serve you. They do NOT advertise specials, you have to ask them and they act like they do not know until they (suddenly) do. It's pricey compared to the great smash burger/3 for me specials at Chili's currently. Over all, very disappointed in this new Denny's. I am being generous giving them 3 stars. Walked in at 1:00pm and was sat by the manager and took our drink order which was just two waters and didn't see him again for nearly 30 minutes while he was giving 2 other tables everything they asked for, service is a 0/10 it's one of the worst Denny's locations i've been too. I went in today with my adult autistic son. At first they seated us where the noise level was high. I asked if we could be moved over by the restrooms and not so noisy. New building, same old dennys. Staff looked stressed, very small portions, way too expensive now. Each breakfast item has a up charge of 50 cents because of the egg. Ordered a side of bacon, they forgot. Ordered toast...guess what...they forgot lol. When I asked for the toast it came cold. The biggest issue here is when I asked for bacon the server told me the price. When I ordered 2 extra eggs she failed to mention the price but I didn't think it was going to be more than 3$ well once I got the bill each egg was close to 5$ each. So to those protein lovers watch out each egg is 5$ when I brought this up to my server she said " well when I told another customer about the price he seemed offended " well no shit why wouldn't he lol. But you tell the other customer and not me? You should be telling everyone that ask for an egg that's it's going to be almost 5$ when I brought this question up to the front the same server came to see what I was complaining about she said " so what's going on here " I'll stick to mom and pop breakfast shops from here on out. Was there this morning, food was okay. Thought I would try them out since they are newer to orangecrest but I'm definitely not going back. What did it for me was the attitude and bad customer service at the front desk from a female employee while paying the bill. My father was trying to split the bill they took almost 10mins to figure it out again without explaining to the customer what they needed to do to add the tip finally they are asked to pay my father inserts his card and is waiting I let the girl know it wasn't showing anything and she looks at me as if I'm an idiot and said that's not the right machine for payment then directed us to the other side. When you can't understand a customer your job is to assist and provide the best customer service possible not be annoyed because you are doing your job. Dennys please train your staff properly and hire professional cashiers that know what they are doing because you will lose customers. read more

Just had breakfast not crazy about xtra charge on eggs. Food was good went to pay bill and showed them my aarp discount card to both cashiers still didn't get my discount she forgot and wouldn't redo?! I know not much but it all adds up, disappointing out about 4 bucks when you consider both discount and egg charge. Am sure they wouldn't let me leave without paying full amount! read more

Was very hopeful for this location opening, but unfortunately it was really disappointing. Server got most of the orders wrong, my son asked for a waffle with no butter please and it had butter, when we asked to please get one without butter she took it back where they removed the butter and flipped it over on the plate which just made the remaining butter melt on the underside, also we never got part of our order. The whole staff looked very overwhelmed, I understand it was a Sunday at 1pm and the restaurant was packed so I suppose that's understandable. crazy for a new location to be sooo horrible!!! first off, our server, Iris, was the rudest server i've ever met, literally!!! she's got such a DISGUSTING look on her face! she frowns so much her face is stuck like that. if you look around, she's the ONLY server that doesn't smile. i absolutely wish we didn't sit with her!! the up charge for eggs is ridiculous. i don't care that it's posted on the door, it's bs! i got breakfast and she asked me if i wanted the fruit that shows in the picture or hash-browns. i told her i'll stick with the fruit, not knowing, AGAIN, another up charge. BS! she asked me what kind of toast i wanted, the toast never even came. the ONLY person that was nice and kind was the hostess, Giselle. she was very outgoing and always smiling. she actually helped us more than the server, since she kept avoiding us. i told the manager about the server and how she's soooo rude and supposedly "she'll have a talk with her." yeah right, ive been a server many times, they dgaf! deffffinitely wont be returning to this location. i HOPE this review keeps people away and i'll definitely let people know NOT to come here!!! again, Iris should be fired or something. she's HORRIBLE! you don't go out to eat to get sh*tty service and that's ALL she has to offer. read more
