I really should have check Yelp before attempting lunch at this Denny's. Husband had a hamburger which wasn't too bad. But seriously who can't cook a French fry? They were terrible, limp and uncooked. Our waitress was very gracious and offered to bring us more... no thanks. She did bring us seasoned fries which were almost okay. I had the value menu fish & chips with a salad ( I always ask for dressing on the side, that didn't happen) the salad was so old and smothered with dressing that I couldn't eat it. Again the French fries were terrible, the broccoli was cold ( not luke warm, cold) and the "shrimp" were mostly fried breading, there was not much shrimp in the fried breading. We went and it took about an hour to get in and as soon as we did it took another 30 minutes for us to order. Once I did order it took us so long to get our food. I got Mac and cheese and it wasn't cooked all the way and the chesse was on top instead of mixed together. This was discusting! read more

The waitresses were very attentive and nice. It seemed clean. We met a home friend here that was traveling through. This is a one time experience only. It is attached to the busiest conv. Store/truck stop in Rock Springs. It was great to be able to meet this old friend and sit down late at night for a chat. It is great for the truckers and travelers to have a decent restaurant to be able to eat at on the WY highways instead of having to grab junk food before retiring to bed. read more

It's a national chain inside a truck stop and that's exactly what you should expect. Come in very hungry with equally low expectations and you won't be that disappointed. read more

Amazing. Came in for a bite and there's more staff than customers and still they can't provide good service. I had to track down my server for a drink refill, and they completely forgot about me for about 30 minutes between my meal and the desert I ordered. read more

Some big negatives for breakfast after staying overnight in Rock Springs: (1) terribly long wait for waitress to finally ask for our order; (2) even longer wait for food to actually arrive; (3) less-than-mediocre food was not remotely close to being 'worth the wait'; and (4) manager was clearly clueless that service was so bad. Positives: none were noted. I doubt that our travels will bring us to RS again in the next 20 years, but if they do, we certainly won't eat here again. read more

Stopped in very early. Server was great. Very friendly. There was a slight misunderstanding on which breakfast I ordered but I didn't say anything. I ordered a grand slam and she thought I ordered an all American slam. I don't usually like anything on my eggs, and there was cheese, but I chose to enjoy the extra bacon and let it go. Although it was nice that this restaurant was actually open 24 hours as advertised (many in the area were not) that was the only positive during our visit. We arrived to hear the staff loudly discussing personal matters, including the hostess/server informing all that she "was drunk before but I'm fine now". It was quite obvious that she was not fine now. We were seated at a table with crumbs on the seat. Another server brought us our water and coffee, explaining she has carpal tunnel and that's why she was spilling the drinks. She did not wipe up the spills. The hostess/waitress came back to take our order asking if we wanted drinks (which were on the table). She noticed our coffee and explained that she was just having a tough day. She went on to explain how she needed coffee but not the stuff they serve so she was going to buy some at the attached gas station. Our order was taken and was good when we got it. We did not see our waitress after this. Another refilled our coffee and had to get our waitress who had gone outside for a cigarette and a red bull as we had sat at our table for at least 10 minutes with empty plates, empty coffee cups, and mostly empty water glasses and had not been given a bill. We were about to walk out which would have been 100% possible as there was no one paying attention to the dining room except one waitress who was refilling items on tables (also the one to refill coffee and get our server). When our server came in she complained about having to come in and reprimanded the other waitress in front of us. This was the most unprofessional restaurant experience we have ever had. read more

Service was horrible, 7/17 at 18:30 did not even get my order taken. One waitress was standing by the next table talking to 3 guys, another was running left and right and neither one approached me to take my order after 15 minutes had gone by. I stood up and left. How unconsiderate after us truck drivers travel the whole day trying to find a clean place to eat. I'm never coming over here and will post this in every website and will pass it on to my company also. read more

This was the most surreal Dennys experience I've ever had. We stopped in for breakfast, and for a place to sit while forming some travel plans. When the waitress showed up to take our drink orders, she only asked my husband what he wanted, and brought a cup for both of us. I'm also still searching for a place that knows how the hell to cook an egg over medium (I used to be a line cook, I know how easy it is to do). When it was time to pay we were kind of ignored (no one addressing us, just hollering to others "cash please!") and rather than a thanks or even "here's your reciept" (something to conclude the exchange) the hostess just walked off while talking to someone behind us. There were a lot if employees, so no idea what that was about. Overall it wasn't even a negative experience, just really weird. read more

I asked to talk to the odd colored hair manager and she dismissed me. After hearing a previous customers complaint I wanted to be sure I would not be leaving with the same complaint. Long story short, I left and acquired food I could count on, but pleased me less. The night time shift at Denny's in Rock Springs, WY may leave you desiring a more personal touch. This place always has awful service, but this really took the cake. My friend and I got here at 11:30 with maybe 7 other tables (if that) and we did not get our menu for 30 minutes, we didn't get drinks for maybe 45 minutes and didn't get our food until 1:40. Through this all we did not get a single refill and we didn't get the right food and it was cold. And the best they could do was give us $5.00 off the meal that we didn't even want. read more

Although the service was a bit off, the breakfast I had was good, eggs cooked as I like them and everything was hot and good. I'm sad to say they has this top notch super delish skillet on the menu that had broccoli, chicken or steak, cheese , Alfredo etc, it was the best dish I've ever had at Dennys, but it is no longer offered. They have actually stepped up their game here at Dennys, and is way better than it was, I hope they keep striving to improve. HORRIBLE SERVICE! Takes entirely too long. A member of my group took our orders and was servicing our beverages. Waitress' do nothing.

Don't stop here unless your a trucker and you need a shower!!!!! I don't even know where to start on this restaurant. We were traveling through about 9pm and saw this Denny's. It's connected to a gas station so I probably should have expected it to be a little sketchy but I thought since it was a Denny's it would be ok. I went to use the restroom and there were two waitress's in the bathroom and the bathroom was really dirty as was the whole place. Not that waitress's don't need to use the restroom but you don't necessarily want your waitress in the stall next to you. They were out of lettuce for the caesar salad, kids menus, and taco meat for nachos but they had burgers still and meatballs??? When my husband went to use the restroom they called over the PA system "Attention professional drivers there is currently no wait for the showers" ok so I know they need a shower but come on that's not what you want to hear while your dining. The food we ordered came out quick but cold. How is that even possible? My 8 year olds spaghetti looked gross. She had already ate a meatball when I said lets just go. We all left more than half our food. My daughter woke up at 6am saying her stomach hurt by 9am (on the road) she threw up. She threw up again about 11 (still on the road) and then was fine for the rest of the day. I know it was from the food! I wish I would have read the reviews first! It doesn't even deserve one star! . Stopped to eat in this Denny's on our way from Salt Lake City to Denver. Turned out to be a very poor choice by us and the only reason for one star is you can't give zero. Just going to go over what went wrong. First of all people next to us were seated way after us, yet placed their order before us and got their food well before us. Seemed to take a long time for our food to finally arrive. I had to ask for the toast that was supposed to come with it and then jam was not on the table. My daughter had to ask twice for syrup on her pancakes, which by the way were the one thing she didn't like in her Grand Slam order. My omelette look nothing like an omelette that I've ever seen before and more was like a taco in how it looked.. And it also came w/o meat which is not what an Ultimate Omelet is advertised as having. Lastly, my daughter reported that when she use the restroom it was simply gross. Overall it seems there are a number of reasons for this poor experience and not just one. I will never go back there again. read more

Husband and I stopped for lunch here because we needed to park a large rv. This Denny's is located in a truck stop and has rv parking. We were seated promptly and our waitress was courteous and efficient. Hubby got a philly cheesesteak sandwich with onion rings, and said it was very good. I ordered grilled tilapia, broccoli, onion rings, and a cup of clam chowder. Every thing was good; especially the clam chowder. read more

When I first met this place is wasn't the best. But my dad kind of took over and is doing his best. The staff will treat you as family and give great service(: There food is great, so many dishes to choose from! They all taste awesome it could be hard to choose from. They take complaints very seriously so if you have and worrys or concerns they will be fixed. I'm not going to lie it isn't the absolute best but it's getting there. Just give it a try! read more
