Sis and I were in the Rogers area around lunchtime and I remembered this 50s Retro diner from the late 90s. Last time I was here I was in high school and the nostalgia brought me back. But I didn't recall that it was a Dennys. I thought they were all closed but I was wrong. Walking into shiny metal building and being brought to a sparkly red booth, I loved the vibe. I loved the low top bar counter with spinning-seat stools. I loved the plastic seaglass Coca Cola glasses. I loved the black and white checker board tile. Sis gravitates toward bourbon burgers. This one came with bacon, savory mushrooms, green onions, red onion, tomato and lettuce. The sauce was like a sweet bbq that had a little kick. Fries were something I've never seen before, a combo of a thick steak fry and a crinkle cut (but on the long way vs the short). I ordered the Brisket melt. It comes with burnt ends, caramelized onions, melty white cheddar and American cheese on a perfected toasted bread. It also has scrambled eggs but I didn't want eggs for lunch. I did, however, ask for a side of Mac n cheese because that's a staple with burnt ends. From the picture on the menu, I thought the meat would be in smaller chunks but actually were pretty big. Each sandwich half had about 3 pieces which wad plenty. Great savory flavors with the buttered toast, onions and cheese. And the Mac n cheese was . Thick, gooey cheese... not runny or clumpy. Creamy not blend. Who knew that a Dennys had yummy BBQ (from my MN white girl palette). Place was clean, including parking lot and restroom. Service was fast and friendly. Check came in a timely fashion. And I loved paying at the front counter vs giving my CC away to a disappearing waiter who takes forever to come back.

This Denny's is great! Like a 1950s diner. Bright and clean with tons of ambiance. The service is phenomenal. Very fast. The breakfasts we had over 2 days were perfectly cooked and very tasty. The prices are reasonable. They even offer you a cup for your beverage to go. Convenient parking.

Denny's always delivers! We had an amazing experience today. Our server Patrick did an excellent job taking care of us. He was a rock star at serving us with a great friendly attitude and was very attentive. He knew how to ask clarifying questions so that he was effective and efficient in delivering top notch h service. Hey Denny's hope you are treating him well and pay him well. The food was on point as well with being made fresh and hot upon delivery. It can't get any better than that. The inside is very super cute because it's decorated like a 50's diner. I love coming here.

Nostalgic Denny's very cool looking on the inside it is it is a chain and so you shouldn't expect gourmet food but the food is good especially when you're on the road and on the go the waiter and waitress were very nice cheerful and made suggestions which I was quite happy about I would definitely come back if I was on my way back.

This is hands down the best Denny's location I have been to!! The staff are very attentive and efficient! The ambiance is so vibrant like you are sitting at a cafe from the 1950s with all of the retro and vintage pictures and decor! The food is great!!

Wow! Let me start with how impressed we were with the service at this location. During these recent pandemic times with restaurants and stores closed or with limited hours because of staffing issues, this Dennys is an exception. We were immediately met at the front entrance then seated and drinks offered. No wait times at this place. Our waitress was Annika and she was so friendly making sure we got our food and drink refills attended to. The food is also very good and priced well. We got the Mama Di's pot roast. This is our favorite dish at all Dennys locations. On this particular visit we met a regular customer who was such a joy and made our day with his positive attitude. He is 101- years old and one of the few remaining WWII veterans. We had a pleasant visit with him talking about his service in the Pacific.

As a kid, I thought Denny's didn't compare to Perkins. That was our go to place for breakfast. As an adult though, we love going to Denny's here in Rogers. The various breakfasts are all great. The diner look on the outside is cool as well. (A silver tube look of a building)

Busy (be prepared to wait approx. 20 minutes for a table depending on your party size, but worth…read morethe wait) little Classic Mom & Pop Cafe. Old school big skillets, HUGE pancakes, strongest coffee on the planet, haha. You can even buy things like bird feeders, pot holders and more too. I ordered the Country Fried Steak which was a big portion, seasoned perfectly with freshly made gravy, I asked for "crispy" hash-browns and got crispy hash-browns. . I tried the cranberry wild rice bread which was delicious. My over easy eggs cooked perfectly too. Great to see a Classic Cafe still going strong. Only input to improve is updating the cushions in the booths. Follow me for more reviews. @JDMinneapolis

We figured most places would be busier because it was the day after New Year's Day. We waited just under 15 minutes to be seated. The staff did the best they could to accommodate each party that came in, while moving through the line to fill tables quickly. I will say the café is on the tighter side. The booths are small, and the tables...well, they're kinda on top of each other. A couple who frequents the café recommended we try the "Fritter Toast". It comes in three flavors. We ordered the blueberry and let me tell you, KNOCK OUT! I wish I had only ordered that! I did order a breakfast special and it was okay. Nothing out of the ordinary for a breakfast joint. The food came relatively quickly and the portion size was big! Especially the pancakes. I will say, and other reviewers say the same, if you're looking for a small town feel, with friendly staff, Lindas' has some work to do. We didn't feel welcomed. Some of the staff were down right crabby and standoffish. If we don't go back, I won't be sad. But, I will need to figure out a way to get my hands on the fritter toast.

Salad was good and the house blue cheese dressing is good. Baked potato done for easy eating and the insides were soft and flavorful. Hot dinner rolls too. This review is going to be difficult to write because I have such mixed feelings. My last rating…read morewas a five-star review and parts of my wife's and I experience merit another five stars, but parts of the same experience merit a one-star. And that makes it difficult! Let's start with the positive... Their prime rib continues to be fantastic. It's meaty, flavorful, and juicy. After having some prime rib specials at other restaurants, I can really see that they quality varies. In addition, Dehn's dinner comes with excellent Parker-house rolls and butter, cup of au jus, and a baked potato -- all of which is good. It also comes with soup or salad. Their Beef Barley soup is one of the best version of beef barley soup that I've ever had. It's loaded with ingredients, the broth has a deep flavor and I have always enjoyed their version of it. So far, this is five star territory. However, on to the not so good... I ordered the prime rib medium rare and it was clearly medium to medium well done. Honestly, if you want medium rare, medium well done is a big disappointment. I asked the waitress for a more rare piece and when she returned she told me that the chef said the piece I got was from the center of the roast and was the rarest piece they had. Although they took $8 off the price, it was not a great experience and the meat just could have been much more juicy and tasty if they had cooked it properly. But there is more. My wife order the fried chicken and for the third time in a row, they said they didn't have it. (Dehn's, if you don't carry it, either take it off the menu or tell your guests about it before they order). My wife went with the grilled chicken breast, which arrived looking like and tasting like either a frozen piece of chicken, or a bad airline meal (for those of you who can remember that). It was really tasteless and dry. In addition to all of that, we waited 15 minutes to be seated in the nearly empty restaurant because (we were told) they were short staffed. In fact, there seemed to be one waitress and one kitchen staff person for the restaurant. Service was slow (although friendly by the person who wasn't really a waitress). So what's up with Dehn's? The area around the restaurant is turning from farm land to housing. The hours of the restaurant have been cut severely and they are now only open for dinner on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. My gut tells me that they are "caretaking" the restaurant and that although they have been open since 1958, I doubt they are going to see 2028.

At the door they were telling people that it would be 45 minute before their order could be placed but they could be seated and have coffee if they wanted to wait. The wait was actually about 20 minutes. We both ordered the Magnificent 7, two eggs, two slices of bacon and 3 pancakes. Mine came missing one slice of bacon my wife's came with everything plus a hash browns as a bonus. I was OK with that because the reason we went there was because it was supposed to be free for me as a veteran. The catch was that the offer was only good a participating restaurants and this wasn't one of them. If you get a free offer email from Perkins I suggest you call the one you going first to make sure they will honor it. They did honor it but! Also I should mention we ordered a pie to take home. The crust was slightly undercooked. For me undercooked is better than overcooked but not to this extent." The food was good the waitress was good but the next time I get a email with an offer I'm going to delete it and not tell my wife about it.
