Oreo Shake

Found this spot because they have a patio that's dog friendly and decided to give it a try. It's tucked away and has limited parking in front. My server was great with the recommendations. The patio was spacious and had multiple TVs. I ordered the fried rice (special of the week) , bone in chicken wings and I ordered a meal for my dog. The rice was underwhelming, but the broasted chicken wings were sooooo good. I got half dry rub and half Hot chic. Both were delicious along with the ranch. I topped it off with a strawberry Oreo shake which was great as well. Can't wait to try their brunch.

There's just something lovely about getting a few dishes to split when you're out with a friend for lunch. Even more so when the dishes just hit right. Grabbed lunch at @theblockslp in Saint Louis Park this weekend and had a great server (shout out Evan). This was a new spot to try and looking at their menu /food pics I will have to be back to try more things. They do have another location new in Rogers. One extra fun thing about The Block is that they have a dog friendly Pawtio year round! Items we landed on getting and loved: Brisket Nachos (Smokey and perfect balance of flavors) Broasted Chicken Sandwich (SO good with the slaw and flavors of the chicken together for a smooth crispy crunch) There's a lot more I want to check out here so will likely have a second post on these guys down the road. The atmosphere and food was lovely, we left with a smile. For more awesome food spots check out the account mallorymademetryitmn on Instagram!

Back again 3/14/26. Service is awesome hot chicken Benedict and my burger and onion rings good, atmosphere is busy and lively ambience still the same. You can bring your dog which is wonderful. Basically its the FABULOUS SERVICE we know we're gonna get that brings us back

Our go-to brunch spot! Their year-round "Pawtio" is the best; it's my favorite place to sit when we come here. I always order the classic breakfast with their creamy hashbrowns, and they are sooo good every time! My fiancé got the brisket skillet and loved it. He usually orders the breakfast burrito bowl, but said this was even better! Already can't wait to come back again.

The Block is my go-to spot! You really can't order anything bad here. They have great healthy options like the Brussels sprouts appetizer and grain/rice bowls, but their burgers are just delish! My favorite is the Royale Burger & you can choose either a double or triple depending on how hungry you are! If you're celebrating, definitely get a dessert shake to share with your table! They have lots of fun flavors and toppings! Pro tip: go for Monday trivia or free Bargo Bingo on Wednesdays, plus they have late-night food specials starting at 8pm which makes it a great cheap night out! I'll forever love The Block's atmosphere and their cute year-round patio!

We stopped into the Block on a sunday afternoon and had a pleasant experience. We ordered one of their amazing bloodys and an espresso martini- equally reeeaaally great. I would stop in again just for those! For our food, it took about an hour to get to us. The server was very kind and told us the kitchen was backed up, but maybe something to think about when youre visiting! I got the vegan jucy lucy and it was SO good! I didnt get the block sauce as I hate BBQ, but the garlic aoili was also a great staple on it! My husband got the french dip and loved it! He got it philly style with the peppers and mushrooms- making it even better. He did say that it was really hard to keep it all together, so expect a bit of a mess. Finished the meal off with some guinness, always delicious. We love the vibes at the block & the staff is always super kind, looking forward to being back.

Mischa is looking forward to sampling the dog menu!

Stick with the broasted chicken - can't go wrong! And give the free BOGO a try for something different. Wednesday and Sunday.

Came to The Block for brunch after the gym and we'll definitely be back. I ordered the Prime Rib Hash, and my friend ordered the Chicken & Waffles. Both were tasty. The service was also good.

Been on my list for a while and decided to go for brunch. Didnt make reservations or anything, just showed up and got a table pretty quickly. They have a "pawtio" and that area was actually much busier than inside. Plenty of tvs inside, me and my date watched the game, ordered some food and i had a breakfast cocktail. Waitress was friendly enough, even though we witnessed her kind of rushing people out, I'm guessing it's just cause how busy it was. Everything came out in decent time, enjoyed pretty much everything we got and I think the prices were pretty fair. The pacos (pancake tacos) had a spicy jam that was amazing! Will definitely go back for lunch or dinner.

We embarked on an exhilarating trip to reunite with our friends at the block, and let me tell you, it felt like visiting a hidden gem I hadn't explored in ages! The atmosphere was vibrant, and the pet-friendly patio was buzzing with happy tails and laughter, creating the perfect backdrop for a great evening. Now, let's talk about the drinks, those slushies are nothing short of legendary! Don't let their colorful, appealing appearance fool you; these icy delights pack a serious punch with their delightful blend of flavors and a robust kick of alcohol that'll have you coming back for more! And oh, the food! The truffle fries were a heavenly experience, bursting with rich truffle flavor and perfectly seasoned, no overwhelming saltiness here! Every bite was pure bliss. The mac and cheese was luxuriously creamy, a comfort food dream come true, while the chicken was seasoned to perfection, leaving you craving another bite. Each dish was an invitation to indulge and enjoy, making the outing nothing short of unforgettable! The service was fantastic considering how busy they were. The location has a good casual vibe but the only 1 flaw is its small parking lot but they do have street parking.

We've eaten here once before but this was the first time with our grand pup. A review listed this place as very dog friendly and we were watching our granddog for the weekend so we decided to check it out. We were seated on the back patio which was great for our rambunctious pup. The front patio is also lovely but it was full when we got there. They brought water for the pup and cocktails for us. I ordered the pork tacos which were good. It came with salsa and home made tortilla chips. We ordered the bark bites for the pup which were dog cookies with peanut butter, blueberries, and oats. Pup loved them. The patio was lovely. The staff was excellent to both human and animal guests. Great stop.

I've always heard good things about The Block. It's kind of tucked away but off of Hwy 7 but easy to find/get to. The parking lot is kind of tight but they do have a smaller on otherwise there's street parking. We went during happy hour, in which they had a few food & drink deals. We got cheese curds which came with a spicy jam (but was more of a chili sauce), bone in wings - dry rub w/ buffalo & ranch on the side. The seasoning on the chicken was good but was very light, could have definitely used a bit more. Also a lot of feathers left on the chicken, otherwise I liked the crispness! We also had a side of fries - which were breaded and also crispy. My sister got the buffalo chicken Mac & cheeses which is her favorite dish there. I'd go back to explore more of the menu, it's generally a cute restaurant, the patio area is really nice. Our waiter was nice and attentive!

Tequila Lime Steak Salad
Trish M.

The Block was such a cozy and inviting spot--perfect for a relaxing evening out. I had the tequila lime steak salad, and it was outstanding. Everything was incredibly fresh, and the steak was cooked perfectly--so tender it practically melted in my mouth. I also enjoyed a well-made cocktail that paired nicely with the meal. Our server was full of information and recommendations! While it's a little on the pricier side, the quality and atmosphere make it worth it. I'd definitely come back for a special occasion!

Copperwing is a working distillery, and the bar is not embellished to whisk you away from that environment. I like that. Copperwing has a place of its own amongst the thousands of drinking holes in the Twin Cities. You're imbibing in a distillery, but at a bar with a mixology and a bites menu. The cocktail list is interesting, and what I drank was delicious. I also drank shots of some of the different booze Copperwing produced. (It was a lot of liquor. The next two days were rough, and stupidly, we went to another distillery afterwards. I will never learn, and I'm 75 years old.) Liquor is like wine. We all have different tastes and palates. I liked one of Copperwing's vodkas, but not the other. Several of their offerings have won national awards. That's something everyone in Minneapolis can be proud of. Jack was our bartender, and he was gracious and accommodating. I will return to Copperwing Distillery soon, but will drink with more wisdom, sticking to one kind of booze and will drink lots of water.

We were seated in a cozy back dining area, the chairs were surprisingly comfortable, and the restaurant itself is beautiful. The lighting is dim and intimate, with a small table light that makes it easy enough to see the menu. The hallway to the restrooms is extremely dark, but the restrooms themselves are very nice, complete with quality hand soap and real hand towels instead of paper towels. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful. The décor is one of the first things that stood out to me. From the unique lighting fixtures to the rich wood accents, blue velvet chairs, and stylish mirrors, every room feels thoughtfully designed and visually appealing. The atmosphere feels upscale yet comfortable. The music upstairs near the bar leaned more toward a club vibe than I expected, which gave the space a fun, energetic contrast to the elegant dining room. Overall, it's a restaurant that's just as enjoyable to look at as it is to dine in. The service was impeccable from start to finish. Our server, Curt (I hope I'm spelling that correctly), was fantastic. He was friendly, attentive, and took the time to answer all of my friends questions without ever making us feel rushed. We were greeted with warm scented towels to clean our hands before eating, and throughout the meal the staff quietly kept our table clean by brushing away crumbs and clearing dishes at just the right times. Those little touches really stood out and made the evening feel special. The drinks were fantastic. I ordered the Lavender Stardust mocktail, which was refreshing, unique, and one of my favorite mocktails I've had. My friend ordered a Dragonfruit Lemomade that she really enjoyed as well. My partner got the tableside Old Fashioned the presentation was also a fun experience. The French onion soup was the only disappointment of the evening. It wasn't bad, but I was hoping for a much richer, more flavorful broth. My partner ordered Calamri and really liked it because its like it should be. My friend even tried it for the first time. The Hot Brick was absolutely worth ordering. It was interactive, delicious, and made for a fun experience to share at the table. Even my friend, who tried all of the sauces, enjoyed them. My steak was outstanding--easily one of the best steaks I've had. It was perfectly cooked with a finishing salt that really brought out the flavor. The whipped potatoes were incredibly smooth, buttery, and comforting. Both my friend and my partner got the Chicken and Sausage Rigatoni. They both seemed to enjoy their food. I also tried the lobster mac and cheese, which was rich and delicious, and we finished with the lava cake, which was the perfect ending to the meal. This isn't an inexpensive restaurant, but for a special occasion the entire experience felt thoughtfully put together. Between the beautiful atmosphere, exceptional service, and excellent food, I would absolutely return. Boketto exceeded my expectations, and I can't wait to come back. Highly recommended. Some of the best food I've had at a restaurant in a long while.

Service is always spectacular with a huge attention to detail and really customized spiels about the menu. The things I've recently tried for drinks have included the spritz del ambratta, the fiore, and a sparkling red from their wine selection. I find myself going back to the Fiore and would recommend that most although their wine is a solid selection as well. In my opinion, the best starter combination is the focaccia plus the lemony beans. The focaccia is solid and it's so good to dip in the mixture that the beans are doused in. The Caesar was decent as well but you can't miss with that other combo. Then, of course, the mains. If you love creamy pasta, do yourself a favor and get the cavatelli. One of my favorite dishes I've had there; I kept almost comparing it to an adult Mac and cheese. Great for sharing if creamy pastas are a bit too rich for your liking. The lasagna is always a close second and you can't go wrong with it. My friend adored the pickle pizza and I thought it was solid too although I would still probably get the cavatelli or lasagna if you are between that and the pizza. Another great shareable. The saffron spaghetti was decent with some really good bite from the noodles and the taste of saffron really coming through, but I would probably get those other dishes before I would order that. On the first occasion, I was there we were celebrating two of my friends' 30th birthdays and H&S did such a good job of celebrating and making them feel special plus they brought out French silk pie cannolis for us plus glasses of sparkling wine, so I would highly recommend this place as a celebratory dinner.
