We had the pleasure of eating breakfast at this Denny's on the way home to Denver. We were a party of four. All the staff had face masks on and were very friendly. This is a very nice and clean restaurant. In order to keep social distancing every other table had been decorated in a very imaginative fashion by one of the employees with a message to not sit at the table. It is worth stopping at this restaurant just to see what they did. Our waitress was Heather and she did an excellent job taking care of us. She also has this dry, almost British type of humor that made it a lot of fun to talk to her. Our meals were all very good and served promptly. One of our party always likes her bacon well done and her toast on the dark side and this is the ONLY restaurant on our 5 day getaway that got it right! This was the only restaurant that none of us had any complaints about the food, cleanliness or service. We will definitely be eating here again when we are next in Salina. read more

Had an amazing meal after a LONG and snowy journey from Denver and experienced one the best levels of service in a very long time at the Salina Utah Denny's. Kymber was an AMAZING server. If Kelly Clarkson ever had a twin sister or doppelganger it would be Kymber. She served us with Denny's expertise, creativity (she creatively wrapped up a Denny's mug we purchased).and was just fun to talk to. The food was amazing -SO GOOD. I was like -what -this is Denny's from my college late nights? No way. New menu, fresh interesting food. Go to this Denny's just to be served by Kymber. I went to Denny's in Salina today with my family to have dinner and just as we got our food, (which was brought to us in a phenomenal amount of time considering there was only one cook on duty), My three year old niece got sick. Not only did the waitress that was serving us rush to help us clean up the mess but the manager got all new clothes from her own car for my niece to change into and made sure that we knew she would be happy to help us with anything else that we might need for my niece and for ourselves while we were there. The food was great and so was each staff member that helped make sure we had a positive experience eating there. I have never seen a group of employees be so understanding and compassionate towards their customers in my life. read more

This is the by far The Best Dennys I have ever been to. We were driving to Colorado as a group from Vegas last week when one of the cars in our convoy had a flat tire around the area. We drove back to meet them up at Exit 56 and ended up at Dennys for lunch. We had great food and great service!!! Since we had this great experience, we decided to get lunch at the same place on our way back from Colorado yesterday. Again, we had an awesome experience with our server CHERI who took care of all our requests and needs. She was very friendly, made us feel comfortable, and made sure we had our food on time. We travel from Las Vegas to Denver at least once a month and stopping at this Denny's on our final leg back home has become sort of a tradition, a welcome break from the road. The service is always friendly & never-miss (Heather is our favorite server - always attentive, helpful & smiling) and whoever is in the kitchen making our food? They always seem to cook things, like, perfectly. Never a bad meal. Never. Oh, and one more thing. It's nice to encounter upgraded bathrooms, like this place features. From the moment you step in the door & are greeted with a friendly hello to the time you leave, this place is a welcome respite. No wonder it's continually voted the best Denny's in Utah! read more

A couple of friends and I go to this Denny's often and I love it! Because of COVID, the menu was shortened, but this time, they had the full menu out today and that made my day. I had the Slamburger and that's never a disappointment. Our waiter, Dominque M., was fantastic in placing our order and even in the rush at the time the drinks and food came at a good time. As long as you treat these people right, they will treat you well. The waiters and waitresses here are awesome and they sometimes remember your name if you go there often. That's what I love about a small town community. I would highly recommend this location to anyone, either locally or just passing by! read more

I have no problem giving this Denny's a great rating. Customer service is always good, and Kasey was really on it today - she was very patient with my 7 yo special needs child who somehow got out of the house without his morning meds today! She was very flexible with the kid's changing orders and pleasant (well, actually, she was extremely helpful) with substitutions. I hear rumors that this is the best Denny's in the country, and in my experience, I would agree with that. T'was a Friday morning after a 655mile drive from CO. My friend and I grabbed a bite at this Denny's location and was served by the energetic waitress Kymber. With her cheerful jokes and optimistic attentiveness she really woke us up from our delusional drive. As I spotted at the bar counter, Kymber should deserve her shrine as well on the wall. My partner and I are some hoes for Denny's, so when we pulled over for gas in Salina and saw that the Denny's was rated #1 in the world, we had to check it out. Im visiting from Belgium and me and my sister drove from Denver to Las Vegas. We stopped at this Denny's which was my first Denny's experience and I must tell you I'm sold! I had the all American slam and a milkshake and both were amazing! We asked for extra extra crispy hashbrowns and they delivered! But the best part of our Denny's experience was our waitress Morgan who had such a nice bubbly personality and was so lovely to help us with any questions we had and she did have patience with us because it took me a while to figure out what I wanted to order. Can't believe I'm reviewing a Denny's But I have to say, I was so pleasantly surprised by this spot. First off the place was clean and organized and we didn't have to wait for a seat. Secondly our waitress Kymber was wonderful. She treated us better than some upscale restaurants I've been to, and really worked hard to make sure our visit was perfect. Ordered chicken fried steak dinner. It was the BEST we've ever had! The coating was crisp, not greasy, meat was fork tender. Didn't even use a knife. Side of fork cut it!!! Our sweet server, Misty CA was pleasant, kept coming back to make sure we were okay. Had some fun conversation with her. Very kind, seems to enjoy serving, has a great smile. We stopped at Denny's tonight after a long afternoon drive through the mountains. Tailani was our server. She was fantastic. She took great care of the two kids that were with us, making sure they had water right away. She also took great care of the rest of us. The cleanest and fastest service ever in all the road trips I have been on. Our waitress was Tasha and she made sure we had enough coffee and water during the time we were there. My son had a conference call, so we were there for an hour. You could tell they had travelers and locals as everyone knew everyone. The kicker is the entitlement to a 20% tip and the false claim that it was somehow a new mandated minimum, almost alluding or implying that it was a law or regulation. I tipped the 20% because I felt pressured to do so, which I regret. I usually tip 20% if service is good since I had friends and family in the restaurant service industry. But not being given an option and the entitlement mindset is off putting. Building is nice though...
