I've visited this location a couple times, and it's been just ok each time. I personally don't like when menu photos promote a dish a certain way, and then it comes to my table and looks nothing like the photo in regards to presentation and portion sizes. Last night, my bf and I ordered the apple pie crisp and the ice cream was practically melted, not centered in the dish, and the amount of crumble was not filling the whole dish. They paid attention to the little details like filling up half filled water cups, asking for menu back to order more, etc. It was so attentive of them to put that much effort into our table. Got the street corn cup and it was good. Wish that there was more like. Also got the macaroni and cheese side, but it was Tootoo cheesy that it overwhelmed me with the saltiness from the different types of cheese. It was all just too much. But, I love the scattered TVs and the mini ones with the different activities to do on them. This location is located right next to 680 on the berryessa exit. Usually fast service here! We tried the new chocolate cinnamon shake for the first time and it was good, very cinnamon forward! I always get the Crazy Spicky Skillet it is so good! It comes with chicken, chorizo, jalapeños, potatoes, and mushrooms! This is the Denny's where Nvidia was founded. We came here on a weekday morning for an early breakfast. Thankfully they're open 24 hours. The server was very kind and gave us unlimited coffee refills. She was very welcome to chatting about how Nvidia came to be at this very restaurant. Order the grand slam breakfast, A salmon main, and grilled cheese sandwich with fries. The portions are very generous and prices are affordable. The grilled cheese seemed like it was cooked on bad oil, but otherwise everything tasted good. I like that the pancakes were very fluffy. They do their best and the service is quick. I still love the OG plates like The Club, Chicken Fried Steak and Grand Slams and their Garden Salad is still my go to with Ranch dressing. Our server, the older asian guy, was the only server but he was running around serving the whole place and did it very quickly and politely. We never had to ask for extra things as he brought whatever we asked and he did it so fast while serving others and seating costumers at the same time. I haven't been to a Denny's in ages. But came because I had a birthday reward. While they advertised the every day value slam outside on a banner, I didn't see it on the menu. They had every other type of grand slam but not the least expensive one. Luckily the Denny's rewards program makes it clear what you get. It comes with French toast, pancakes, or biscuits with gravy, as well as two eggs and sausage or bacon. I got French toast with eggs over hard and bacon. Food came out quickly on two different plates. Then it was around 5 minutes, till my husband's burger entrée came out. I did wish the food came out at the same time. But my hubby got the bourbon bacon burger, with fries. He liked it - it came with bacon, mushrooms, bell peppers, cheese and a bourbon sauce, I liked the simplicity of my breakfast plate. All easy food that's not hard to mess up. I only wish it came with hash browns. It was filling for me and a steal for $6.99 (though again free for me as a birthday reward). We came on a weekend, around lunch time. There were people inside but I wouldn't say it was too busy. Service was average, fine. Nothing to rave about. Parking was easy peasy too.
