Pulled chicken Sammy with baked beans
    Sho R.

I stopped by on a Saturday noon. The place was not too busy. They have parking lot. Burnt ends was flavorful, but was dryer than I would like. Brisket was good. Pulled chicken Sammy was my other entree. That was good as well. My favorite items here were really the sides. Baked beans were the best. Corn bread was excellent. Mac and cheese was really good as well. There was 4 types of barbeque sauces. Kansas barbeque sauce was very spicy and was delicious.

Wow this place sets the standard for bbq amazing meats and sauces. The greens go above and beyond what I expected. A little gem of bbq spots for sure.

What a solid spot! It definitely hit a craving for amazingly tasty meat. Brisket: 10/10 the texture couldn't have been better! They have three options, fatty, lean, or mixed. The mixed brisket was perfect and the meat was not tough whatsoever. The fat lent juiciness to each bite. This brisket was the perfect vehicle for the BBQ sauces on the table and it was super fun mixing and matching the different flavors. I do wish it had a bit more flavor on its own though, like just a little touch more salt and pepper would've perfected this! Burnt ends : 10/10!!! OMG this was heaven!! The pork belly was perfectly charred and coated in this amazing sweet glaze that kind of reminded me a bit of charsiu, but even better! It's almost dessert-like in its carmelization, lending a new spin on sweet and savory. You definitely have to try this fresh! Collard Greens: 6/10 They were alright, nothing special. Corn bread: 6/10 Almost sponge bread-like in texture. Not too sweet. Price: A 2 meat combo for $30 is a bit much. I wish they had better valued lunch deals. Ambiance : 7/10 normal nothing special Service: 10/10 consistently checked on us to make sure we were okay, and gave us extra plates to share without us having to ask! plus the free soda refills are great!

Used to come here back in the day, now I live 3+ hours away, so it's a treat to swing through and have a taste of the good ol days. There used to be more locations, alas, a sign of the times, have closed a couple of them; That being said, Their customer service at this location is always 110% on point here. Great for families with plenty of clean tables and good vibes. Support your local bbq joint and enjoy Smoking Pig!

Came into this dining experience with zero expectations as a vegetarian, but it blew me away. I noticed that had a jackfruit Sammy on the menu, not something I saw online, so I ordered that with a side salad and ranch. They make their own ranch, which is a plus. The Sammy was so flavorful! I added pickles because why not and wasn't overly full with the salad. So ofc I had room for banana pudding. Ugh, so good. Perfectly creamy and just enough banana. My partner really enjoyed his meal too (see photos). We've been to Texas a few times and this bbq was a good competitor in his opinion. Love all of their bbq sauces too. Service was the cherry on top. A nice kid was on it! He checked in to see how I liked the Sammy because it is a new menu item! Inside is rustic and clean! Some vegetarian options, but you only need the jackfruit Sammy IMO. No pet friendly patio.

We came to celebrate our anniversary and wanted a bbq joint and happen to chance this place for lunch. They use fresh woods to grill their meats in the back, which i was excited to see as I walked inside. We were greeted upon arrival and sat at their many booth tables. The simple wall portraits, the front counter, and southern music brought a southern accent to the restaurant which added to their charm. They promptly tended to our orders and customers started trinkling in for the next 30 min. We ordered the classic beef ribs, pulled pork, and sliced briskets with a side of coleslaw and rice. We were excited to try their many sauces at the table. They had a mustard sauce that paired nicely with the brisket and pulled pork. The sweet, honey bbq and the spicy bbq paired nicely with the ribs. Only let down was the meats didnt have enough of that wood-smoked taste i was hoping for. Additionally, the coleslaw was was bland and the taste and consistency to it, so probably would skip it next time. Other than that, I wouldnt mind coming back to try more off their menu. :)

I'm pretty sure this is the original location. I haven't been here in 15 years at least. The place could definitely use a facelift. The service was excellent and our server was really nice and friendly, but that's basically it. Somehow I remembered they had much better quality. The food was mediocre at best, for 3 people with tip we paid $85. Their fries were good, portions were small. When you have other bbq places in the city, you can choose elsewhere.

Best BBQ spots ever. I've been here a few times and they never disappoint. The corn bread is fluffy and flavorful. The Mac and cheese is one of the best I've had, it had little pieces of pulled pork, however you can order without, but recommend it with the pulled pork, so delicious. The beans were great as well. The meat options are all great as well. This time around we went with ribs and they were so tender they came off the bones. The brisket was great as well. Do not fear whatever you order here you will love. Also don't forget to try their sauces they have a variety of 5 different sauces. Our server was Mary and was amazing, she was attentive and helpful. If you plan to dine in there are plenty of seats however could get busy around lunch time however they do serve the food in a timely manner. They do also offer take out as well. Highly recommend this place if you want some good BBQ.

Ordered the 2 meat combo ribs & burnt ends and added on a hot link with mac 'n cheese for my side. The ribs were cooked well and pulled off the bone well, and they had a nice smoke ring. The burnt ends were good, but you don't get very much at all. I did not like the hot link at all and the mac 'n cheese was also not very good. I also don't like that they do use everything with bbq sauce. I wouldn't come back here and would not recommend it.

10/10 experience at Smokin Pig BBQ! From the moment we walked in, our server Luke made the whole experience amazing. He was super attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect for us. The food was honestly incredible. It's hard to even pick favorites because literally everything was so good, but if I had to choose, the mac and cheese, cornbread, and ribs definitely stood out. The ribs were suuuuper juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. I'm really picky about mac and cheese, but theirs was SO good -- creamy, flavorful, and with chunks of meat mixed in that made it even better. The cornbread was moist with the perfect amount of sweetness. And the BBQ sauces?? So dang good that I ended up buying two bottles to take home with me. Overall such a great experience all around between the food and the service. Will definitely be coming back again!

The hubby tonight wanted BBQ for dinner after going to Topgolf so we looked up BBQ places on Yelp & seen Clara's Junction & was going to go there. However, they were closed so we went to The Smoking Pig. 1st... the ambiance is VERY outdated. And the area of the restaurant doesn't look the safest. 2nd... the food wasn't all that great. My brisket was served to me, cold. The hot link I got was overcooked & dry. My husband's beef tips were ok & his hot link was ok. Our waitress was good & our food came out quite fast. However, I can't in good conscience recommend the place. I wish Clara's had been open & the hubby wanted something else, other than BBQ. I've had better BBQ in Gilroy at BBQ 152. Maybe today was an off day... but, it's not a place I'd go to again.

Two meat combo with chicken and brisket which comes with baked beans and cornbread

My son and I stopped by Smoking Pig since I hadn't been there for several years. I was so hungry, I wasn't sure what I wanted so I decided on the two-meat combo with chicken and brisket which comes with baked beans and cornbread. When he took my order, he asked if I wanted my brisket lean, fatty or both and I said I want it fatty. You know that's where the flavor comes from! I don't eat a lot of beef so I wanted to splurge. The quarter chicken was a pretty good size and the brisket I thought oh kind of on the smaller portion size but the taste made up for it. Oh my gosh it was so yummy...that fat! It was so tender! The chicken had a really nice smoky flavor and it was not dry. Considering we came in an hour before they closed, that definitely was not an issue. They have four different sauces, but I really liked the classic BBQ sauce. The beans were smoking and the cornbread was pretty good. Service was great and hey're very friendly. They checked on us often. They had jazz music playing which was really cool.

Ribs!!! Out of all the bbq places I've gone to, the serving and preparation of their ribs will be my go to. The 1/2 rib rack meal is definitely worth it. It includes three smaller sized ribs and 3 larger sized ribs. Probably enough to serve 2 people. My parter ordered the combo platter with beef brisket and chicken leg quarter. Brisket was juicy and tender and the chicken leg was huge. If it's busy- you'll probably have to wait a good min for your servers. The ambiance is a hole in the wall type of vibe. Overall, great portion, flavor and sauce choices.

Do they have outdoor seating still? It looks like from pics, they set up a tent and chairs on their front lawn. Do they still have those set up?

How much are burnt ends and are they glazed/seasoned with rub?

Not sure about the price but they are both seasoned and glazed. They are very "wet" and tasty.

Is there a 18% gratuity automatically add in the bill when serves for 2 people only around 3:30 pm?

That's not correct they can only add in tip if there's more than 8 people. Perhaps they changed their tipping policy? Any signs stating that? You can take receipt and question charge with eatery manager? You can always question any charge on…

How long are the pork ribs smoked for in the smoker?

The menu on their web site says 12 hours for the pulled pork and 16 for the brisket. They don't serve beef ribs unfortunately.

It's like a cross between a western style bbq joint and a middle eastern twist with its meats and food. Turns out, this place is mainly an Afghan restaurant! It's half eatery half a butcher shop for people to come and purchase fresh meats for some home cooking. In fact, I watched a lot of people coming in and ordering meats to go. I ordered their chili lamb kabob which was tender and juicy. It had lots of flavor from the spices but enough to where it wasn't overwhelming. I ordered it on top of a pillow of rice which was fluffy and buttery textured. It was delicious. There are sauce bottles to pair with the meats which is my favorite part. I really liked their white creamy yogurt sauce mixed with their red house chili sauce. It gave my lamb meat so much flavor and some heat. I loved my order and will definitely order two next time. I also want to try their steaks. They take their time grilling their meats so orders can take a short while. It's worth it for sure. No complaints here but I do wish they played some light music in the background for some ambiance. Things can be real quiet in here so it can be awkward dining in. Other than that, I really like this place and will be back for more.

Hey there Party People…read more I've been to the Table several times since my first review for the restaurant and just felt I needed to restate the obvious....this place is great. Hubby and I wanted to have brunch The Table is the best spot. You can get bottomless Mimosas for a very reasonable price. But first and foremost the food is what you go for. Not to mention you can take a very pleasant walk along Willow street and check out the shops after a great meal. The menu really lends to sharing plates so you can really get your foody on. We had the beignets to start. Made with ricotta and lemon curd for dipping. The beignets were very moist and a little dense because of the ricotta. The sugar coating was light and the crust was perfectly crunchy. What really made the beignets sing was the lemon curd dipping sauce just added a deep layering of flavor. Then there was the Heirloom Tomato salad with artichoke hearts. It was a tasty bite. The fry on the artichoke hearts was light bringing out the artichoke flavor. The treatment of the heirloom was clean simple and the whole dish together was just wonderful. Finally we had the Chicago Roast beef sandwich. It was huge and made me glad that we were splitting the dishes. The sandwich really reminded me of the east coast because of the peppers and carrots medley that was on the sandwich, which packed a fantastic little kick to wake up the pallet. Their Au Jus dipping sauce brought the hold combination together. Per my Hubby, who is a real Roast Beef lover, the whole sandwich was next level. If you're in Willow Glen and you don't eat here you have missed out on a wonderful experience. Be kind to one another
