We come here only to redeem our free Grand Slam birthday breakfasts once a year. So sign up! You can redeem only on the day of your birthday, so get to it! Today it was busy. We waited maybe 15 minutes to be seated. Candy was our friendly waitress. After placing our orders, I checked my watch to gauge how long it would take to get our food. It probably took between 12-15 minutes for our breakfasts to arrive. We got the "make-your-own Grand Slam" (free today but normally $8.79) which consisted of two scrambled eggs, bacon (two tiny measly "slices"), hash browns and two buttermilk pancakes. If you can avoid eating inside this shop I would go anywhere else. This site is minutes from our home so for the last 2 years it has been a convenient stop. However, it is so consistently bad as an in house diner we stopped patronizing this site. Service is regularly slow, 30-50 minutes to get food both with or without a full house. Food is frequently either served cold or over cooked (burned toast or breaded sandwiches or over-fried food). We tried it again tonight after a 3-4 month break and well, $75 dollar for 3 people and again cold dinner for me and over cooked for the kids....like we did not eat half of it. Its going to my dog. People were standing in line for online orders for 50+ minutes. We timed it since we did not have our own food. Such consistent bad management of their kitchen you would be well served by trying another location. They may not print individual receipts, but they will charge credit cards separately if you tell them your order in the front. Of course, this occasionally leads to confusion and chaos. They have a habit of calling entrees by common names such as "chicken skillet," "eggs," etc. What if the group ordered different variations of a chicken skillet? The staff fails to clarify until they get to the last entree and hold the customer down of one unpaid entree. read more

I know there could be a lot of mixed reviews on here. I have been going here since I was a child and the Denny's in general have changed overtime based on the interior design. I know the food is not for everyone but this is definitely the spot for me to dine in during graveyard hours when the munchies happen. Decided to sit down and have some breakfast by myself before lowes opened at 6am and I guess this review is perfect since by the time I'm done they'll be open. Sat down and Stacy asked if I wanted anything to drink and dropped a menu as she ran away to get my drink and I placed an order when she returned with my drink. After finishing I went to pay and see her running around table after table and bringing food, memorizing orders, attending to 6 tables as I causally took everything in took all the change in my pocket which was like $15 for a tip and put the rest on my card. Stacy is a model staff and honestly she needs help. At least someone who works half as hard as her. Feel pretty bad as I'm writing this review. She stepped out for a breather for a messily 30 seconds (not even) as I caught her in the corner of my eye, running back in I said that's it?!?!? And she shrugged and went back on her routine. Feeling pretty guilty myself as it took me 10 min to write this and she hasn't stopped at all.
