We are a group of nurses that work the evening shift at the Temecula Hospital and when we arrived after our shift to Denny's, we walked into a madhouse. First of all, the place was absolutely filthy and smelled like a dirty mop. You can tell this place has yet to experience a real deep cleaning. When we got our coffees, my coffee mug and one of the other nurses still had lipstick stains on it from whoever last drank coffee from those mugs. Our server, thankfully was okay (and I literally mean just okay) which is why I guess the one star I'm giving is sufficient (I would give it no stars if Yelp allowed me though ...she was nothing to jump up and down about.). When our food came out, it was cold and I realized why. I'm NOT THE ONLY ONE COMPLAINING. This restaurant can't even handle the food coming out because of having to deal with so many complaints! For example, the table in front of us overheard us women talking about the service and they told us that when they spoke with the general manager about their food being completely wrong, the manager, who we found out later to be named Randi, had a smug smile on her face as if she didn't care. So I was already prepared to deal with an unprofessional manager. But I didn't have to. Because she never came around. I heard her scolding at an employee and then my server came back and apologized saying that her manager, Randi, is very stressed because she is FORCING employees to write FAKE REVIEWS about the restaurant and her. Apparently, she's under fire for running the restaurant to the ground and I guess she's trying to make it look like things are better in this restaurant, than they really are, so she's making employees and, according to this server, her personal friends and family, write fake reviews on Yelp about her so she can appear better to whomever her boss is. Well, your secret is out Denny's Temecula. I, as well as the other nurses, can PERSONALLY tell you all that this place is a completely dirty and unprofessional dump. Go to IHOP or another Denny's before you even think of stepping into this disgusting place. And God forbid you do go, may the force be with you when your food comes out cold or wrong or with other people's lipstick stains on the cups or cutlery because the manager here named Randi will either not care enough to come by your table because she's too busy scolding employees to write fake reviews about her or when she does come by, she will be the most sarcastic, unprofessional person you have ever had to deal with in the restaurant business. I'm not sure how this Denny's is even surviving with this woman. read more

****WARNING.... If I could give 0 stars I would. Wait staff was dreadful. We were told to find a seat, first time that has ever happened in a Denny's, then the waitress took her sweet time bringing us waters. When we ordered our food we asked for separate checks and explained to the waitress it was three checks and who was on each check but our checks came back wrong. The orders were wrong, smothered cheese fries are on the menu, with a picture, but the waitress didn't know how to order them because we got fries with the cheese on the side, which was a bowl of cold cheese when it came 5 minutes after the fries. The other order had chips and cheese and I was given ranch instead of cheese. So 5 minutes later I got cold cheese sauce. Then the waitress was too busy leaning against the counter to check on us. No refills, no is everything ok, no service at all. She looked over and saw the empty glasses but still couldn't take the 50 steps to check on us. Then when we paid the waitress realized that first person didn't tip and overcharged her. Then the manager refused to void the transaction and ring it the right way. Adib, the manager on duty, tried to talk her out of voiding the check by saying it takes 3 weeks to go back to her account. Then he refused to address the issue of the food being wrong. He would not acknowledge the fact that our orders were wrong and the service was bad. When I refuse to pay my check until he addressed the issue he pulled out his phone to call the cops on me. I paid the check in order for him to give me contact information for the general manger. The person before us with a to go order had an issue too because the staff does not understand enough English to take an order. This place is a blemish on the Denny's name and should be shut down. If the service is this bad and the staff this belligerent to customers I put money that the kitchen is below health standards. read more

Hello, my name is Denise and I am the General manager of Denny's on Rancho Ca Rd in Temecula CA. I started working here originally in 2000 but I left a few years and returned in 2015 and I became the General Manager in 2022. This restaurant holds a special place in my heart, I have spent the majority of my adulthood life in this Denny's and some of my most memorable life events were spent here. I have some pretty awesome employees. I have service assistants who have worked here 28 years and take pride in keeping this restaurant very clean, servers who have been giving you that welcoming smile for 20 years, and cooks who have been plating the most delicious Denny's food for 12 years. A little history of our Denny's: We are considered to be one of the first wave of newcomers. This building was originally built in the 70's (as a different restaurant) when Temecula was mostly dirt fields. In the early 80's, before Temecula was officially a city it was remodeled into a Denny's and we have been serving our guest amazing pancakes ever since. Denny's on Rancho Ca Rd in a part of Temecula's history and we plan to stick around and be a part of Temecula's future as well! This place is absolutely revolting. My husband and I decided to go right after church. The place was a zoo. Absolutely unorganized and after we were finally sat down, I hear and witness a very large blonde women yelling at one of her employees, until she left her in tears. I later found out this woman's name was Randy, the General Manager. I found this out because my food came out cold and with a hair in it. Disgusting. When this Randy manager lady came over, she looked at me with the most disgusting smirk, and apologized, but in a sarcastic manner. I honestly feel like she almost enjoyed the fact that her restaurant just served me eggs and hair instead of my eggs and ham. Then, my husband and I, as well as the booth in front of us who was also in disbelief, watched this woman walk away and talk about us to her employees!! Who hires a woman like this?! She is completely demoralizing to her employees and then displays the utmost disrespect to her patrons. I will NEVER go here again!! If anybody wants to go to a cleaner Denny's, try the one in Wildomar and the one in Murrieta. The staff is very "different" and the place doesn't smell moldy. Trust me. Once again, this very well maintained and sparklingly clean Denny's pulled out all the stops! I'm very happy to see the new interior is still looking fantastic, the staff are all as helpful as ever and the manager, Randi continues to genuinely be concerned about her customers and staff. After she visited my table with nothing but complete professionalism, l watched her interact with several other diners who all seemed to appreciate her stopping by. On the occasions I've been to this Denny's, I've always been surprised by how everyone is always so upbeat, full of smiles and ready to help in any way they can. They all seem like family rather than coworkers. Today, my food was out within 6 minutes, was perfectly cooked, tasted great and was presented like something a TV star chef would be proud of. The bar has been set so high by Randi and her awesome staff, l dare not go elsewhere for fear of disappointment. We pulled in around 9:30 p.m. thinking Denny's is a good place to eat. First off my creamer curdled in the coffee. This should have been the signal to run. I should have ordered a sandwich and fries but I ordered a steak instead. A TBone red potatoes and broccoli. Whatever shaker seasoning they use they piled on the meat and potatoes. The broccoli looked shriveled and wilted like it was too old hours ago. If it weren't for smothering it in ketchup, I would not have been able to eat it. This was clearly sabotage because no cook would hand out what I received. The person with me ordered a club sandwich with onion rings...and it came out as expected. Since I already sent back the curdled coffee...I just poked around at my food so the person I was with could enjoy her meal. For the near $50 I spent I was glad that I had tic tasks and mouthwash to get the taste out! They need another cook! read more

Horrible experience. After being told to sit wherever and had our menus slapped on the table, we finally had our waitress come to order our drinks after sitting for 10 minutes. My fiances order came out WAY before mine and when mine came out it was wrong. The waitress then argued with me about my order while having no knowledge of the meal that I ordered. She finally took it back and fixed it. When she returned, my fiance asked her if she could re heat his food and she argued with him about that. I wanted ranch with my food and wasn't able to ask for it until I was halfway done eating because our table was being actively avoided. To top it off our waitress went on a break and the lady that was supposed to take over for her didn't check on us until we were practically leaving. Worst dennys experience I have ever had by far. My recent breakfast at Denny's was delightful from start to finish. The staff greeted my family and me warmly, promptly seated us, and made us feel at home. Breshela was exceptionally courteous and attentive, ensuring our dining experience was excellent. The food presentation surpassed our expectations. The menu offered a great variety of breakfast classics, all cooked to perfection. The coffee was served piping hot and delicious, adding to the satisfaction of the meal. Overall, our visit to this Denny's was a true treat. Friendly service, excellent food, and delicious coffee made it a breakfast to remember. I had an amazing experience at Denny's! I ordered the Country Fried Steak and Eggs, and it was absolutely delicious--crispy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The service was just as great! My server, Bernice, was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure everything was perfect throughout my meal. Denise, the manager, was also wonderful and made sure the restaurant had a welcoming and well-run atmosphere. Overall, a fantastic dining experience--I'll definitely be back! read more

The staff is pleasant and friendly, and the manager Diana Brown is the most caring woman to her guests, and always ensures customer satisfaction. Alejandra is an amazing server! We came in as a bigger party but that didn't faze her. The food was amazing, cooks did an amazing job! Restaurant was super clean. Go to pick up order tonight, one of the waitress over there did not even recognize which dish to pack , look like she did not know the dishes of the Denny Manu, she was keep asking everyone including the kitchen guy to help, I think the Managerment should train your employee a little better. read more
