I just can't say enough about Ryan. He is AWESOME !!! Always right there with refills . He certainly takes care of you and yet with a smile Chuy, the busser always recognizes us and takes very good care of us. The minute you finish a plate, he is here to clear your table. Food was amazing, quality steak actually cooked to a perfect medium and the flavor was equally wonderful. Good wine list, and the service was warm, timely, and friendly. We didn't have to wait at all for our appetizers, for our food, or even for our drinks to be refilled. Can never go wrong with some warm bread and butter either! Noticed a negative review here from people complaining about how they were treated because of their kids - might be the same family while we happened to be eating here too. What they failed to mention was their two kids screaming at the top of their lungs to holy bejeezus, the unchecked screaming tantrums, and throwing items from the table while mom and dad just sat on phones, and then leaving an absolute DESTROYED mess for staff to clean up. Management obviously had a few tables request to move, and while they "apologize for any issues", they definitely were not rude to anyone requesting to do so and nothing seemed to be said to the family. Any claim otherwise is an obvious recognition of being a major problem and having the audacity to expect everyone to happily deal with it. People sitting at the same table couldn't hear each other speak. While people aren't entitled to a child free environment, parents aren't entitled to forcing people to endure their severe lack of parenting and situational consideration, while others are also out trying to enjoy a steak dinner. If you can't handle and manage your own children, and your own mess, stay home. It's a steakhouse, not a daycare. read more

The restaurant has a huge menu selection, which was nice to see. We started with the honey sriracha boneless wings, which were a good appetizer. Unfortunately, the bread served at the table was very hard and not very flavorful. For our entrées, I ordered the ribeye with mac & cheese and mashed potatoes, while my husband had the ribeye with lobster tails. His steak was juicy and cooked well, and the lobster tails were pretty good. My ribeye, however, was on the dry side. The mac & cheese was underwhelming, and the mashed potatoes lacked seasoning and flavor. The highlight of our visit was our server, Claire. She was attentive, friendly, and provided excellent service throughout the meal. While parts of the food missed the mark for me, the service and value made the experience worthwhile. Background: Saturday night, 7:30pm... 1. We were told by the hostesses there would be a "20-30 minute wait for a table." 2. We asked to sit at the bar. They said fine. 3. We saw several two top tables that were totally open in the bar area. We were told we could not sit there, only at the bar. These tables remained empty the entire time we were there. 4. We sat at the bar. 5. We saw a family seated at a 6 top approx. 10 feet from us. 6. One child was screaming almost the entire time. 7. The other child was eating his food "off the floor" while screaming. Parents were oblivious. 8. The two-year-old got away from the parents and hit his head on an empty table. My wife said "That baby got hurt." The non-attentive Mother replied "They're not yours." 9. The manager came over and said "Is everything ok?" We said "no, screaming kids, eating off the floor in the bar where we were watching the Dodgers play. His reply "We are a family-friendly restaurant." 10. The manager came back again and we showed him the large pile of steak with fat that we could not eat. We had cut all this off our steaks. Then we said "We think this night started with the screaming kids." My wife said "Why do you let small children in the bar area?" The manager replied with "This is a Family friendly restaurant." 11. Black Angus has always been a go to for our family. The Black Angus franchise isn't what it used to be. This Black Angus is decent. The steak can be hit or miss. Sometimes it's cooked perfectly and tender yet other times the ribeye is tough to chew. Also, asking for rare steak is a hit or miss. It usually comes out medium rare to medium but on a "rare" occasion it comes out right. Service is good, especially since they were understaffed. Salad greens are always fresh. Brussels sprouts and calamari appetizers are fantastic. The skin on the baked potato was hard and almost impossible to cut. Also, you must ask for real butter otherwise you will be served margarine with your bread and on your potatoes. The exposed, orange ceiling ducts are very dirty and should be cleaned. Half of the restaurant seemed to be shut down while the other half had all of the patrons crammed into tables close to other parties. My family and I visited Black Angus Steakhouse on the Fourth of July to try the $17.76 holiday special, and we left full and happy! I ordered the special, which included a 6 oz steak, BBQ ribs, shrimp, and mashed potatoes. (I don't eat shrimp, so my son was more than happy to take those off my hands! ) We also ordered a steak dinner and the chicken and ribs combination meal, so we had a chance to try several different items from the menu. Everything was cooked perfectly. The steak was tender, the ribs were flavorful, the mashed potatoes were creamy, and the portions were generous. For the price, we were genuinely impressed with both the quality and the amount of food we received. Our server, Claire, was fantastic! She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Great service always makes the experience even better, and she definitely did that. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and had a relaxed atmosphere that made it easy to enjoy dinner with family. Before we left, we couldn't resist taking a slice of the original cheesecake home...and let's just say it didn't last very long! The waiter told us that they usually receive their deliveries on Thursday's but ran out already and it's on Saturday. Who did not do their job? SMH! The ribeye was cut uneven so half of my steak was well done and the other half was medium. We sat at the bar on Friday evening and the server/bartender was so great! She is so good at her job, so friendly with customers and making sure we had everything we need. We will def be back. We went in for Happy Hour to see what they had. Lots of drink options, I got the Corona Beer with the Tequila shot, that was only $8. Great deal! The food was only 4 options (bread, filled potato skins, fried chicken tenders and the fried zucchini). The free bread and butter is very good and comes out warm. I got the buffalo chicken tenders and although the sauce was really good, the chicken itself was so rubbery and the breading was very thick, just not good quality. The blue cheese dressing was top tier! Not that i'm looking for top quality in a HH special! I'll try the zucchini next time and see how that is. My hubby was very happy with his Prime Rib. The food did not disappoint! Kaylee, the bartender, is always super friendly and attentive, and Scott is one of the best managers we've ever seen...constantly checking on customers, helping his staff, and even running food himself. It's rare to see a manager work just as hard (if not harder) than his team, and it really shows in the service and atmosphere. Even the other waitstaff said the server had been told numerous times about hygiene from various persons. I used to go to another black angus location a lot when I was younger. I moved out to the I.E. and haven't been in like 3 or 4 years. Decided to go today and it wasn't bad at all but it wasn't great like I remember. We got the campfire feast, a kids Mac and cheese and a filet mignon meal. The food was good but could totally be improved. The steaks were cooked perfectly and were super juicy, but under seasoned for sure. Just a little salt and pepper and maybe some butter on there and the steaks would have been a 10/10. The Mac and cheese was a little disappointing. The cheese sauce was gritty. I like a CREAMY Mac and cheese. But the flavor was decent. The free bread is ALWAYS on pint. I love it. We had 3 loaves. The regular baked potato was pretty good too but the skin was mega dry. Luckily, I had a ton of butter to make it better. But they could have thrown some oil and salt and pepper on the skin when baking it. That would elevate the flavor a lot. The server was nice but her face seemed like she was over it. I get it, no one wants to be at work, but you could hide it a little haha. But overall, everything was still good. I lobe this place! They sometimes have amazing deals and especially if you have the app. Their steaks are pretty good! The fries are delicious and the mashed potatoes are excellent. The salads are good and their baked potato skins is also pretty good. The shrimp cocktail shrimp was pretty big. I dont like marinara sauce or cocktail sauce so there's that. If the shrimp tastes robust, you wouldn't need it anyways. I loved the creme brulee and the carrot cake is good. But I love all carrot cakes. The day we went we had a deal where you get an entree, a dessert and appetizer. I believe it was through groupon. It was 30$ for each person, so I purchased 8 of them. I thought it was a steal! First time dining at this chain of steakhouses. My experience was great. We had a reservation and were sat immediately. Our server Claire is amazing. She checked on us often and always made sure we had what we needed. I had the filet mignon medium well and it was cooked perfectly. The sides were also good. I had the baked potato soup and mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes did not have gravy but it did not need it, they tasted great with the steak. This is now one of my top choices for great steak. Black Angus was a delight last night! Service was top notch. I was a little worried because we were placed in a back corner of the restaurant kind of tucked away. We had a baby and that worked well for us (even though no body outside baby in a corner) everyone was so kind! I felt like the price was right too. The dinner for 2, is an excellent choice. I took a star away for two reasons, my steak was medium but it just didn't have a hard enough sear...maybe 30 more seconds would have done the trick to rinder out the fat and get those nice crispy bites and our receipt didn't have a line item, maybe that's because I had her swipe my card before bringing the check. What a waste of money. Got take out because it was a long day and I didn't have it in me to deal with people tonight...so I ordered the feast for one. Paid extra for the 16oz prime rib option, which looked on the small side. Ordered it rare, received medium so that means they cooked it medium rare to begin with which is why I ordered it rare so even with the packaging, it would be medium rare. Green beans are still raw, yay. potato skins - no sour cream and no chives included in my take out which is the two parts I look forward to. When getting there, I was informed very rudely by the hostess that my order wasnt ready yet and they just received it at 705pm when I placed the order at 621pm. Not to mention that I got a text saying my order was ready for pick up. So had to wait another 20 min before it was ready. Spoke to the manager and told her about the experience with her host and she apologized and offered me a gift card for next time which I declined. If your take outs are this bad, why would I want to dine in? $50+ meal down the drain with overcooked meat, raw green beans and a horrible watery creme brulee. Won't be coming back. read more

It's been a while since we had dinner here at this location. I made my reservations earlier (for 7pm) in the week as this location gets pretty busy during the prime hours of 6pm-8pm. We were greeted with a warm welcome by the hostess and directed us to our table. Overall 5-star experience and great food. Ambiance: 4/5 The waiting area/lobby area has been improved/refreshed post-covid and also the exterior had a fresh coat of paint. Lighting and the carpet has improved since because i remember that it was little bit darker in the past. Food: 5/5 The complimentary bread arrived on time after our drinks were served. They introduced us to these new sage refreshers. It's essentially a mocktail with macerated fruit (peaches, blackberries, lemon) and sage. Appetizer: 5/5 we shared a freshly made crab cake (two portions) on a bed of greens. There was a lemon wedge and a side of the tartar sauce. Entree: 5/5 we ordered three entrees total. Two were the Ribeye and Sea (Surf and turf) and one was the Filet Mignon entree. I upgraded mine to the 18oz ribeye and I asked for a "Rare Plus" temperature. I think it was a good attempt on rare plus. The steak enhancement I chose was the sautéed mushrooms and roasted herb garlic butter. It was divine. Dessert: 4/5 Disclaimer our dessert was "comped" we had the crème brûlée and the mud pie. The crème brulee didn't have a lot of the brulee and that sound of the sugar cracking when you dig in. The custard could use another egg yolk or two because the crème was on the verge of being panna cotta. Mud pie was excellent. Perfect temperature and texture.
