I love walking into Patsy's and it's much brighter and more welcoming since the remodel from a few years ago. It's clean and the food is tasty--true home cooking. My parents and I had frequented Patsy's for many years, but we stopped when my mom became too sick to go anywhere. Prior to her becoming ill, though, whenever my mom walked in, Tina, one of the food servers, would yell out, "Mabel, is that yoooou?" We loved it, but we hadn't been back until today because after my mom's passing, we just started going to breakfast places located closer to where my dad currently lives. When Dad and I walked in today, Tina was right there ready to celebrate my dad's return. We felt right at home once again.

Had a wonderful breakfast last Sunday! We enjoyed the scrambled eggs with onions and mushrooms, hash browns and biscuits and gravy. Oh, and coffee of course! Man, the food was served hot and the portions were right on! The lady who served us was fantastic and that would be reason enough to return. Taken together, this was an great experience and I know I'll be coming back with more family and friends!

This place has the best chile verde I've ever had in my entire life, without question. It just never stops being exceptional. Every bite. The service is also great.

Delicious breakfast. My friends and I got in early for a job and decided to get breakfast. Pasty Mae's Cafe (they changed their name I guess) was the right place. Nice diner feel and great staff. All of us loved our food and were stuffed for the rest of the day.

I have to say for all 3 in my party just dropping in to eat because Broken Yolk was packed, we were impressed. Food was excellent and portioned BIG. All of us took home left overs. I ate most of mine. Our waitress Patty M was an absolute doll. Very tentive to detail and service. The ambiance was very quiet but very vibrant with a lot going on. Puzzles, pictures, and adds for business on the tables.

I was excited to try Patsy's after reading reviews on Yelp. And the food didn't disappoint. We ordered: For the hubby: country fried steak with poached eggs, extra crispy hash browns, and a pancake - this was a hearty dish. The eggs were poached perfectly, the hash browns were crispy as ordered, the pancake was fluffy. For me: menudo with corn tortillas and the trotter on the side - this was a surprise. I like tripe and hominy but never had a menudo; now I wish I had started to eat this dish sooner. The menudo was delicious! The tripe didn't have the distinct organ-y taste and I enjoyed this dish a lot. The trotter was yummy too! We arrived closer to 1 pm coz we wanted to beat the crowds. True enough, we didn't have to wait to be seated. The hostess was great so no complaints on that. Our server, however, was quite the opposite. She seemed out of it -- she forgot part of our order so we had to ask another person. We had to them follow-up about it after 10 minutes. The place had kitschy decorations, felt homey, and you can tell that it's a local find. Would I return? For the food, it's a no-brainer. For the service, I'd have to make sure that I'm seated in another section with hopefully a better server.

This time I had a late breakfast and my hubby had the cheeseburger. The home fries with my eggs were scorched, the patty was overcooked as well. I do not recommend the biscuit as it is more of a crumbly bread, doesn't taste like a biscuit. The cheeseburger plate was fine, the onion rings greasy though. We still like this place and service was prompt today and friendly.

We initially ordered to dine in but ended up needing to take it to go. Service was amazing from start to finish. As soon as we arrived and even when we had to change to go. Our waitress understood and helped us packed everything up. I did get to try to latte flights there. To be honest, taste was just ok but presentation makes it look really good. I read another review about the ube waffle and I have to agree with them. I was expecting more ube flavor. It was decorated pretty with the flowers but the flavor just wasn't there. Out of everything I ordered the blue velvet pancakes were my favorite. They were soft and fluffy. The cinnamon roll pancake was for my husband. I did like that they like you order pancakes à la carte so you don't have to do full orders of everything and get to try everything. Crème brûlée French toast was ok too. To be fair I'm not sure if it's because we had to take it to go. With that said when taking to go, the pancakes were still good. Waffle not so much but to me it also lacked that one flavor. My husband ordered a margarita and our waitress recommended peach and she was right. Peach margarita tasted yummy as I took a sip to try it. We came around 2pm and there was plenty of seating inside available. We were able to find parking in the shopping center easily. Would recommend to give this place a try especially since service was great. Also, pretty food presentation.

They also have outdoor seating, which made for a really nice and relaxing atmosphere, also you can bring your furry babies which I love! Between the great food, friendly service, and pleasant ambiance, we had a wonderful time. We'll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend this restaurant!

One of my favorite foods is a Monte Cristo sandwich. I've been eating them since I was a kid, and it's difficult to find a place that does it well. Penfold's makes a great one, so that's almost always what I order when I'm here. Turkey and ham, plus American and Swiss cheese, which is made into a sandwich that is battered and fried. Traditional toppings are sour cream and jam, preferably raspberry or blackberry. So don't eat this unless you're a savory/sweet combo person! Worth the $1.50 to get the sour cream. I love that they have a sweet potato fry or onion ring upgrade for $1.00. I always choose sweet potato for the Monte Cristo, it's the best option. But I'll have to try the onion rings some time. There are tons of breakfast and lunch options, since they're only open til 2:00 everyday. They are also known for their bakery. Cinnamon or pecan rolls that are the size of a dinner plate! You have to slice them like a loaf of bread, lol. Also available are cookies, croissants, etc. Everything I've tried has been delicious. Staff is friendly and efficient, event when they're busy. My recent visit was at noon on a Wednesday, and I was all done in under 45 minutes! And the restaurant was pretty full, since it's only the one large room. Decor is fun, in the old-timey "why did grandma collect all this stuff?" motif, lol. Comfy booths around the perimeter with tables inside and a counter back left. And parking is fairly easy in the small shopping center, but you may have to park a little ways away if they're particularly busy.

What attracted me was the Texas Style BBQ and I've read plenty of positive reviews saying the BBQ is legit. Last Saturday on July 4th we made our way to Temecula to dine at the Swing Inn Cafe & BBQ. The town was packed due to a 250th birthday celebration parade. The parade blocked us from getting to the restaurant. We had to wait until it was over which was like 20 minutes. At the hostess station we were advised it would be a 45 minutes wait for a party of 5. The place was busy with customers but the employees did an excellent job in providing great service. 20 minutes later we were seated outside. There were six parties ahead of us but they didn't show when called. Guess they got tired of waiting. I ordered a full rack of the pork spare ribs with smoked beans as my one side. But when I got my food I had an extra side of smoked beans. The ribs were tender, thick and the meat came of the bone easily. It had a nice smokey taste and the smoked beans complimented the meat. I have to admit one of the best spare pork ribs I had in my life. My mom got the chicken fried steak with mash potatoes and gravy. The chicken fried steak was seasoned well and very tender. My step dad ordered Large Brisket plate with coleslaw. And my brother and sister in law both got the 2 meat plate with smoked turkey and brisket with sides of macaroni and cheese and smoked beans. The beef brisket and smoke turkey was very good according to my family. For dessert I got the cinnamon roll a popular item, step dad and mom shared a slice of apple pie and my brother got the coconut cream pie. Everything was very sweet and delicious. We were hoping to catch Dean but I figured he was probably spending time with family on this holiday. We will return and hopefully he will be there so we can let him know how much we loved his food and acting.
