Went for my bday to get the build your own grand slam and it was great! Fluffiest pancakes I've ever had. Our server Ram was very attentive and super nice.

I've always been to Denny's for their all day breakfast and pancakes. This time I went with a group of friends for dinner. I got their brisket sandwich with seasoned fries which was overall delicious. My friends enjoyed their mains too. The steak was well cooked and turkey flavourful. Our server Ram was super helpful and attentive too.

    Veggie Omlette & Strawberry Crepes

I was craving some Dennys Omlette. By now everyone knows what to expect a Dennys. This particular location was extremely busy at 1pm. Waited 35 mins to get a table Food: Loaded veggie Omlette. Came piping hot, satisfied the craving. The hashbrowns were a bit on the well done side. Bits were neatly burnt.. Slam Crepes- everything great. The crepes were good! Loads of whipping creme though Wish they had a variety of hot beverages

The veggie skillet and the new strawberry stuffed French toast. All divine.

Food and service are excellent - exactly what I expect from Denny's. Food is just as delicious as any pretentious brunch place, cheaper, doesn't require a 45 minute wait to be seated and served, AND has nutritional information so you can make informed decisions about your meal.

    Overcooked t-bone steak

Came here on family day - it was packed! They were clearly understaffed. The servers did the best they could but the owners really need to step it up with ensuring the place has enough staff. We were seated relatively fast but I saw customers who came in after us waiting for 15+ mins at the door. We waited over an hour for our food, and when we got the food, it was such a disappointment! The T-bone steak was ordered as medium rare but came out as well done and was clearly overcooked and inedible (see photo). The haddock was very burnt. They messed up my bro's order by giving his dish to someone else. The food came out cold too.

I stopped in for brunch with my boyfriend as this location just opened and he was eager to check it out. First thing i noticed was how quite it was inside even though it was full. We sat down at a booth and checked out the menu. I decided to go with the chicken tenders which came with two sides so I chose fries and hash browns. The waitress asked if I wanted a side of spice toast. I inquired what that was and our waitress said it was similar to garlic bread. Our food didn't take that long to come out but I did notice the man, who I believe is the manager, was slicing bananas for dishes and then rearranging them on plates without wearing gloves. Everyone else cooking had gloves on. The servers weren't wearing gloves but they just carried the plates. Seeing this man cutting and then rearranging the bananas with no gloves definitely turned me off from getting anything with bananas. Our food came and was excellent. The chicken fingers were decent and came with a bowl of sauce on the side which I was pleasantly surprised with. The fries are a thicker cut but held the sauce well when I dipped them. The hash browns was the star of the plate. Crunchy and crispy outside but still cooked inside without being mushy. Great flavor on their own or paired with ketchup or hot sauce. I had diet Coke with it, which tasted suspiciously like regular Pepsi but came with free refills which was nice. Our server was excellent, very friendly and outgoing. I hope to get her again when we go back again.

Went to Denny's for my birthday breakfast and was greeted by the most lovely staff! Ava made sure we got a table quickly when the place was packed and Daniela was the sweetest waitress. We weren't sure if they put the extra eggs we had requested and both Ava and Daniela double checked with the kitchen and made sure we got them, and then some! The manager brought the plate to us and apologized and the plate pretty much had double our order! The food was really tasty and having such awesome staff definitely makes this my favorite Denny's!

Set on the side of an almost empty.office building tucked on the side street back corner - I arrived early - no activity to indicate they were open -all the blinds closed I though they were not open, I tried the door and it opened and a set of stairs to my left directed me into an old diner style restaurant, the service was quick - the food was very good and well presented there were 3 of us so I had the grilled chicken with choice of potatoes, I chose mashed and the grilled zucchini. With fantastic gravy , another party had their smash burger with salad ant our third dish was the lamb served with choice of sides they chose based and veg with green salad My chicken was moist and tasty, the potatoes were real and the gravy was dark and delicious , I'm not a big zucchini fan but really was a convert after this dish, the friend that had the lamb chops really enjoyed them and the friend with the smash burger said it was good but the meat would have benefitted with a little more seasoning - salt &pepper but he would come back again and I would definitely go there again, they also do breakfasts on the weekend and after this experience I just know they do a good job on the breakfasts - seemingly run by 2 women, the chef worked her butt off in that kitchen as did the waitress - they were busy fulfilling orders for both dine in and take out ! While I was not sure what to expect my first impression did not anticipate that the food would be this good, so I will definitely be back, and as a final note the meals with tip averaged under $25.00

The Federal located along Dundas St W. near Gladstone Ave serves up brunch all day from 9am-3pm…read more I've been to The Federal several times as well as their sister sandwich shop (Gold Standard - best bfast sammies in the city!). The Federal is a casual chill spot for all things brunch. They do get busy on the weekends so best to come on a weekday if you're able to. The menu has plenty of brunch options for everyone. I stopped by The Federal on a Monday around 10am. The place was pretty empty although there were a few customers. Ordered an Americano and the scrambled eggs with sausage. My beverage and food came at a reasonable time. Food wise, loved everything on the plate! The scrambled eggs were cheesy, the salad was refreshing with the pickled onions, the sausage tasted great with their house made ketchup and hot sauce, the toast was toasted perfectly, and the potato rosti was the perfect potato side to this breakfast plate. Service was friendly and staff were chill and attentive. Overall, great breakfast and brunch spot along Dundas St. W!

The brunch menu is short so I picked the Gold Standard Sandwich. I don't know what I was expecting, but it's really just a breakfast sandwich. I chose the bacon option (kale and impossible meat also available) and it was ... burned? Not sure if it was intentional but it definitely tasted very burnt. Otherwise the sandwich was pretty ordinary to me. The rosti was extremely oily and not seasoned evenly - one of my bites was essentially coated in salt, while others were bland. I didn't end up finishing. I tried a bite of my friend's breakfast burrito and it was good. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing. The price was good, we didn't get any extras so I stayed under $20 including tax and tip. Service was also good, I just didn't enjoy the food.

This was Game 7! Do or die! We were all adorned in Jays' paraphernalia and arrived early to get seated before it got crowded. There were already many Jays fans sitting along the tables. We sat down at the bar and were greeted by a beautiful and friendly bartender, Deja. She asked us how we are. We told her we were from out of town. She knew our friends very well, and she raced around the bar to give them a huge hug. She hugged us, too! We ordered a couple of Blue Jay beer specials, and we got very comfortable. Deja was interested in where we were from and if we had family. We have two grown kids who are away at school. She showed us a picture of her adorable 3-year-old daughter. She loves her so much, and you could see she was a great mom! It started getting busier as it was closer to game time, and at this point, there was only standing room. She had two barbacks help her get the orders in. The game was on, and it was getting louder and louder as people were cheering for our JAYS! It was complete madness with so many people that you couldn't breathe. But the environment was so energetic and fun, we didn't care. We could see how busy Deja was, yet she attended to everyone's orders and never missed a beat in a professional and friendly manner. She was truly amazing! I could never handle so many people at once. The night went by, and we all know the undesirable result of the game. The entire room was in shock, and their faces were just drained in disappointment. I felt like the overwhelming sadness was shared in the room, and we all began to console each other. At that point, some discouraged people stayed and drank some more, but we needed to go. Deja thanked us, and she ran around the bar, and we all had a vigorous group hug, knowing it would be okay. We will heal. We gave her a great tip, and she thanked us and asked us to come back again. We definitely will. I highly recommend stopping by the Bull on Bloor! We made great memories and new friends.
