Denny's use to be me and my friends go to diner food back in downtown and we have been to this location once in the past and it was equally good. However we recently went back and it was a terrible experience. First of all the server didn't bring us water until we reminded him again. And the food took a very long time to come even though it wasn't busy. We both got the Brooklyn spaghetti and meatballs, and the portion size has significantly reduced. In the photo we have not taken a bite yet, it's literally the portion size for like 20 ish bucks. Not to mention they use to have meatier sauce and it came with cheese on top, but it's just plain tomato sauce now. The entire dish was very much at room temperature and as we taken a few bites it just became very cold. The inside of the meat ball was also very cold. Even the "garlic bread" is just a piece of regular bread?? We were not full from the dinner and didn't even finish, we ended up going to another restaurant for an actual proper dinner. It was a very disappointing experience, perhaps they spent all their money on a robot that brings you your food instead of the quality.

I got the sante fe skillet and it always arrives super hot! Im really picky with my eggs and I asked for hard boiled and they were able to do that for me! The sausage on the skillet had a tiny kick of spice to it which made it very flavourful. It comes with two eggs which definitely made me full. The amount of potato that it comes with, i noticed, varies each time I come. The first time I had just enough to fill the plate, the other time, it was a giant pile! Nevertheless, the sante fe skillet is a hit!

Delicious food and great service. We ordered the Supreme Sizzler and the Chocolate Hazelnut and Banana Crepe which I subbed the hashbrowns for seasoned fries (delicious!). We also ordered the Apple Crisp for dessert and it was delectable. The management here is top notch!

Been here multiple times over the years and each experience is worse than the last. The only reason I keep going is that nowhere else makes hash browns the way Denny's does and this is one of the few locations in the GTA. The food tastes decent and the price point is great for the amount you get, but the quality at this location is lower than other Denny's. On my most recent visit it seems like they're skimping on the portion size of the hash browns. You end up with about 3 forkfuls, and it is not fried properly to have a nice crust the way it should. The cinnamon pancakes are delicious for the first few helpings, but you will get overwhelmed by the sweetness really quickly. The same applies to any of the other pancakes drizzled in sweet icing or caramel, the regular ones are good. The service has always been terrible at this location. No matter how staffed they are compared to the amount of customers, the service is incredibly slow and they will mess up orders. The server will take a request to grab a fork or the bill and appear 10 minutes later serving another table having forgotten your request. You can always sense the frustration of other customers all around when it comes to service. I want to say I won't be back, but the sparseness of other locations makes it hard to say. I might be willing drive 40 minutes to go the Whitby location and have a quality experience instead of dealing with this again.

We've been waiting for Denny's to open up for the longest time. After all the hype, I came here for dinner after a long flight in February. The restaurant was impeccably clean given that it had only been open for a couple of weeks at that point. It even has USB ports to charge your mobile devices! We ordered the moons over my hammy and the quesadilla and chicken strips. I thought that the home fries that comes with the moons over my hammy were too salty. The ham in the moons over my hammy were too sweet. The quesadilla and chicken strips were better, but the quesadilla itself was also a little salty. Hopefully these were only problems with the initial launch and the food is prepared better over time. The service, on the other hand, was really good.

I've been here a few times. The food selection is pretty great. I always go for the dinner options (even in the AM). The service is a little slow. But the staff is super friendly so that makes up for it. The wait time for the food isn't bad either. It's basically just the wait from the minute you're seated to when you're greeted. I say this coming from a former server myself. Regardless. The food is bomb and the milkshakes are soooo filling it's sick (in a good way of course). I'd come back again. And I'd recommend this place as well. But fair warning, there might be a little bit of a wait - but you should definitely try it.

Our experience here was great. We came here on a weekday just past midnight. Our server was friendly and very attentive. The place was clean and our food tasted great. I tried a new item on the menu, I believe it was just for the holidays. It was the White Chocolate Raspberry Pancakes. It came with eggs, hash browns, and a choice of sausage or bacon. The pancakes were super fluffy and tasty! It was the perfect amount of sweetness. I would definitely get it again. I wasn't a fan of the hash browns but the rest of my meal tasted good. **UPDATE November. 25 Absolutely frustrated with the service here at 3am on a Saturday. I ordered the White Chocolate Raspberry pancakes with a bunch of sides. I received my sides an hour later and than my pancakes half an hour later.

The restaurant is in more of a business park area, so maybe it gets pretty busy for lunch. There was plenty of parking when we arrived and our wait to be seated was about 1-2 minutes. We were shown to a table and given menus. The menu is quite extensive so there is something for everyone. My sister and I found many items we wanted to try, so we opted to share two items. We ordered the breakfast triple decker club (with fries), my sister got the fried chicken benny (with home fries), my son a cheeseburger with only pickles. We figured with two types of potatoes my son could just enjoy some of our sides. First off, the portions were large. I ate two pieces of the sandwich and half the benedict, I was struggling to finish, but it was so tasty, I didn't want to leave any behind. The sandwich was perfectly toasted and load with all sorts of good toppings. The benny, was amazing. The chicken was a freshly breaded and fried cutlet and the ham was perfect. Really this was one of the best benedicts I have had. The home fries were fine, just deep fried pieces of potato, but the fries were fresh cut fries that were perfectly made. My son absolutely loved his burger, he said it was one of the best he had. Honestly the meat was glistening and looked tasty. Everyone ate until they were stuffed and we still had some of the home fries left. We all left happy and full. Service was good. Everyone was friendly, the food arrived in a timely manner. I have no complaints on the service. I also thought the prices were good considering the portions and quality. If this restaurant existed where I lived, I would make this part of my brunch restaurant list.

They give a pretty large portion I feel everything is shareable. I do not like turkey bacon at all. I don't know why they did to this turkey bacon or if it was because we were in Canada. I can't stop thinking about it or the blueberry pancakes. When we come back to Toronto we will definitely stop back by. Good service, a nice family environment, and good food is hard to come by. I was then promptly greeted and given the current menu. I chose the 17.99 salmon eggs Benedict and 2.99 bottomless coffee. The server patiently explained and described the options for the included side (French fries, home fries, grilled potatoes, or cole slaw.) I would have liked a hash brown style option but this was not available. My server then asked how I like to take my coffee and returned with only cream as I asked. The sugar packets are already on the table with the assorted jam ones. There were no napkins apart from the one wrapped around the cutlery but luckily I was able to make do with the one provided. My server was attentive without being obtrusive. She and the cook handled almost everything in the restaurant, and one staff seemed to be designated for prepping and maintaining the cutlery station. There was a steady stream of customers and I was able to savour and enjoy my meal. The music volume was mid range, enough to mostly cover other conversations but not jarring. There doesn't appear to be any Wi-Fi for customers. No signs anywhere and the network needed a password which definitely was not made readily available. Overall I really enjoyed my treat. At over $27 with taxes and tip it's more than we pay for an extra large pizza with 3 pop, but it was certainly warranted. The fries were fresh and hot, crispy and fluffy. I appreciated the slice of melon to start. The spinach was fresh and not overcooked. The salmon or perhaps the poaching water seemed to give a very slight vinegary taste in there somewhere, but I was super pleased about the restrained use of salt on everything. I could enjoy the taste of the spinach, yolks, and fries without the usual greasy spoon, saline filter. It's like eating at a diner only much better! They do offer wraps, burgers, etc. I would definitely look forward to trying them next time I'm in the plaza. 2 high thumbs up!

This little diner in the front of a small plaza a couple of blocks away from the tournament was a great find! Thank you Yelp! Nothing fancy here. I was delighted to find a Monte Cristo sandwich with home fries on the menu. A rare find at most restaurants and possibly the best I've had... Not fancy but a perfect blend of French toast, Swiss cheese and ham. Absolutely loved it! Not much more to say really... A great choice for a reasonably priced breakfast, friendly service and yummy food. Give them a try if you find yourself in the area.
