The poor hostess was the only person working! She did a great job but she was seating, taking drink orders, and doing refills. Once we sat down, she got us our drinks. We didn't see our server until our coffee was gone when she was taking our order. When she approached the table she said "I'll be taking your order now" and we didn't even know what her name was. She took our order and walked away with no refills. The sweet hostess got us some more coffee without us needing to ask. We waited an hour for our food and once it came out, my husbands omelet had several long hairs in it that he found halfway through and was completed disgusted. We finally got our waitress tracked down. At this point both of us were sick to our stomachs about the whole thing. They comped our omelette but that's $20 and 2 hours of our lives we'll never get back!!!! read more

The only reason I put 3 stars is because our waitress was amazing! The food was good too. The hostess however was extremely rude to every customer. She was making rude comments to me and my family. Which I had a child with me as well. The hostess will stop customers from coming in. My daughter loves this restaurant. But she ruined the whole evening for us. read more

This is the second time we have been here in a week. Both times, it took forever for anyone to even acknowledge we were standing there waiting to be seated. The first time we were here, when we finally got seated, our waitress was horrible. Took forever doing everything, and brought our food out wrong. This current visit, when we finally got a booth (there were plenty available), the hostess sat us in the corner and failed to tell our waitress we were here. When she did finally come over, she apologized and seems like she will be a very good waitress. The one star is for her. Not her fault the hostess didn't do her job. So.... I've had several horrible experiences at this Denny's, but occasionally a good one. It seems that a lot of it depends on their staff. They do have one good waitress who works at night, but we never seem to be there at the same time. Saturday night's experience was an all time low. First of all, when we ordered drinks, they were out of strawberries for my fiancé's strawberry-banana smoothie. So he orders an iced coffee. It comes out tasting AWFUL. So he asks for a Dr. Pepper. Guess what? Out of that also. Finally gets a root beer, which was decent. Then, we go to order food... and they're out of tater tots, which was what I wanted. They're always out of them. Why even have them on the menu? I order a burger and he orders yummy looking cinnamon bun pancakes breakfast. We get our food.... his pancakes look like total crap. Nothing like the photo at all. Eggs are cold, hashbrowns cold. My burger was soooo greasy that the bottom bun was literally saturated with grease. I got like 5 onion rings as my side. Then, the next morning, we both wake up nauseated and end up spending the evening with diarrhea and vomiting. Coincidence? Maybe. Maybe not, though. I really don't understand how this location is even open. If you go in the evening, you're guaranteed to have a horrible experience. Just don't go. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE! !! I went in and ordered a to-go order for my family. Was told it would be 15-20 minutes. I came bavk after 15 minutes and was told it would take 15 more. That's fine they were busy, i asked if i could go ahead and get the milkshakes I ordered since my kids were getting hungry and the server said they were making them. I stood there for 20 minutes continually asking for my milkshake only to be told they were making them. She would not even go check on my order at all. I finally threw a huge fit and she went back and came out with my entire order shakes and all. I take it out to my car and realize that they forgot our fries, i went back in to get our fries. They gave me cold and soggy fries, when i get back to my car my husband shows me our shakes and they are MELTED. so melted it was almost milk! I speak to a manager and was told to call again in the morning to speak to the GM. When i get home i notice I am also missing my queso and called you tell her so that they haf ALL of their mistakes down. I call the next morning to apeak to the GM and was told they were too busy and was passed off to another manager who let me say about 7 words before he cut me off and said he would replace our order but that he didnt have time to listen to me. I get ready and go to the store. Ask for the manager so that i could get my order. He comes out and tried to blame me! Said that if i had arrived at the time the had told me when i called in my order my food would have been fresh. I try and explain how i had ordered my food INSTORE! HE gets an attitude and says fine what did you order. I begin telling me my $40 order and he puts his pen down and walks away. He then comes back and lays $40 on the counter says "have a nice day" and walks off... WE WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN! WE HAVE TOLD EVERYONE WE KNOW NOT TO GO HERE! VERY slow service, and disappointing portion sizes compared to other Denny's. The food was also mediocre. the service was also so bad that when we wanted to pay the bill to leave we had to wait an extra 15 minutes to even leave the building. read more

This place sucks, our group probably will never come back here again. We were waiting inline for half hour, and then we saw there's empty seats in the bar ,so we went there to seat down, but waiters said you can seat here but we will not serve you. So we have to go back out to ask the front table, they said we have to wait the other 45 minuets and seat outside the door. We felt that was rude, so we left and got foods in gas station. read more

Hot food cooked right. The buttermilk pancakes were spot on. The bacon was a little too crispy, but overall a good meal.

Very good service. The tea was the best! The food came out quick and the waitress was prompt. As always the grand slam was awesome.

The hubby and I drove 40 minutes to the Denny's in Walton, ky for breakfast. Little did we know that they would be out of every pancake that my man wanted! If you are going to advertise something make sure you have it in stock! My husband wanted the sticky bun pancakes guess what we are out of ingredients for it. Regular Danny's food but horrible service. Honestly the waitress was so slow it was annoying. She went out multiple times to smoke and it took her 45 minutes to grab maple syrup for the pancakes. We got up after 30 minutes and grabbed a bottle ourselves since we were tired of waiting. Then while leaving that same waitress was standing by a car smoking, talking to a guy in it and putting a dog in the front seat. We are a party of 3 and have been waiting for over 45 min and haven't even brought food over to our table. Took them 20 min to even come and greet us and ask for drinks. There has been about 3 families of bigger crows of people (5-6 ppl) and all were greeted and food has been brought out to them already. Stop here on a regular basis. I drive a truck and it is inside the truck stop. Food is usually pretty good and the staff is friendly.

Let's hit the positives first. Service was friendly. Pancakes were great as advertised. My eggs were cooked perfect over easy and the coffee as good.
