Service was great, the people working here were all very nice for the most part. Only exception was i believe the manager who was yelling at some staff. So the good staff is the ONLY reason for 2 stars. I guess we went in with unrealistic expectations. Its just glorified fast food breakfast and a couple fastfood lunch options in a decent looking restaurant. I regret telling my husband not to go to burger king this morning. The biscuits were stale, dry, and had an essence of freezer burn. The eggs are powdered rehydrated goop. Gravy is flavorless to match the equally as terrible sausage that comes in it. The burger is like a poor quality dairy queen burger but on a strange, overly chewy and overly processed bun. The fries made me rethink my previous mantra of "I've never met a potato i didnt like". Updating my review because I have watched the decline in both food quality and service. My sister lives near by so we go here on weekends pretty regularly. I have noticed that over time the orders I receive are less and less accurate. As well as the quality of the food has gone down. I ordered the biscuits and gravy today and it was honestly horrible. That is not consistent to when I was first visiting. The gravy has basically only burnt pieces in it with no sausage. The biscuit was oily and not the good kind like the dirty oil flavor was all I could taste. We order for a family of 6 so I totally understand and am always fine with providing patience on that front. So getting orders wrong is just a part of life. But this place just is no longer worth the price point they are asking as their food is truly just not good enough anymore. The person at the window was visibly angry and rude about our order for our family. I even have noticed the line is much shorter probably due to other people having similar disappointments when visiting. We will find a new family breakfast location for a while and I hope the business improves both their service and food quality. I will come back in a few months to see if it's any different but overall I am disappointed in the decline as this truly was a wonderful family weekend spot. read more

I was excited to try this WV institution when one opened nearby. It was packed! And always is. I'm not sure why. It was ok standard diner level food. The only big disappointment was the gravy which was flavorless. The food does come out quickly and the staff is efficient. Overall I prefer the Waffle House experience. read more

The food is good when you actually get what you order. The service leaves something to be desired. The person working the register messed up our order, my partner ordered a combo and when the guy didn't provide a cup for his drink, he said "oh I didn't ring it up that way" and charged him for the drink and potatoes separately... even though the total of those two items individually would be more expensive than if they had been run up correctly for the combo... which was the point of ordering a combo. It seemed like we were not the only ones who had their order put in incorrectly, as several other customers were audibly complaining that they didn't receive what they had ordered. Did not enjoy the breakfast so today I stopped by and was going to have the lunch menu a try, see on the add that I received at the house grilled cheese and chili combo well guess what no chili so looks like I will not be having the lunch. Used to live in Huntington WV and came to love Tudors. Was so excited to find the one in Inwood. Best biscuits I've ever had...hands down! Service was chaotic as the drive thru and counter service kept fighting over who the food belonged to. The ambiance was like a dive bar on Friday night. The food was very disappointing at best. The biscuits were somehow dry and greasy to the touch. The gravy had a brownish tint to it and tasted of salt only. The "large" potatoes were a half filled container of dry, diced, unseasoned potatoes. I have had this franchise in the past and it was delicious so I'm not sure if it's only the store or it's the quality has gone downhill. Anyone rating this below a 4 is spoiled rotten. I got a Mountaineer and it was good. Great for a fast-casual biscuit sandwich. Service was good, very little wait and the cashier was nice. Not outstanding but nice. They welcomed me when I said it was my first time. I don't plan on visiting the other locations hours away but if I do, I'll update my review. 1 - The drive-thru employee didn't know what he was doing. I felt like I was the one guiding him. Didn't even tell me how much it was or to pull around to the window. 2 - Took a few minutes to get my food, which I'm fine with if it's going to be fresh. What I got was french fries that I couldn't eat because they tasted like they had been sitting out since 8am and it was 1pm. They were hard and had no flavor. I don't know if that's how they're supposed to taste or if they were in fact old. 3 - Burger was good. That's the reason for the 2 stars. Oh my, where do l begin? My daughter and l stopped in on the 30th of September after a test. Her husband had been there and told her that the food was delicious so we thought we'd try it. Well from the time that we walked in the atmosphere was inviting and the smiles from the staff set us at ease. The menu that they have covers your taste. I ordered the hamburger with all the fixings, FF and a drink. My daughter ordered the gravy sausage and biscuits and scrambled eggs. Needless to say when our food was served to us we weren't expecting the amount of food that we were served and she ended up taking food home for her supper. It's absolutely disappointing! If you want a real Tudor's experience, you really need to make the trip to Morgantown or Buckhannon. The menu is limited to breakfast and lunch, which overlooks many of the best parts of Tudor's. What they offer met expectations for quality and taste. The biggest problem is service, more precisely, the abject lack of it. By this, I mean you absolutely WILL NOT receive what you order and have it verbally confirmed at the time of payment. To wit, place a drive thru order...confirm/correct and receive acknowledgement at payment window...receive your food and receipt concurrently to drive away and find, miles awayin VA...request for potatoes with sausage gravy are rung and delivered as dry potatoes, Herd biscuit ordered and confirmed (sausage, egg, cheese and potato) is BACON, egg, cheese and potato when received. Hotdogs,ordered in a typically WV style, with mustard, onion, chili, and slaw, and once again, for therecord, confirmed at the payment window...only to receive our request WITH added ketchup! Three of 4 items being completely wrong points to my mind points to an utter lack of concern for the customer. read more

He pulled off the receipt then looked at the tip then looked at me and rolled his eyes. When the food came out it was cold and wrong. Went to have breakfast two weeks ago. The food is okay unfortunately I can't say the same for a server's attitude. While waiting for our order a server came out to inform us they out of eggs. While that happens, before she went the next table we had to ask if we should order something else. After close to 35 minutes we got our order and that server offered us a muffin or cinnamon bun which was nice. How ever some my wife cannot eat sweets we thanked her and declined the offer.
