I have been waiting for an independent coffee place up here. I'm spoiled with my past locations in the heights and Austin. The place is tiny and down to business. I like when a place specializes and has MBA discipline. ;). I am a French press, imported coffee snob. We import creates from Costa Rica and split them amongst the family. They opened up this past Friday and wow. It smells so good driving by. Bold. I pulled up to the drive through and was awakened by the powerful and invigorating aroma. It is like a brick wall of caffeine in your nostrils. I want that as air freshener. The folks there are amazingly friendly and helpful. I wish them the best. Dark chocolate mocha - 5/5. Delicious. Precise. Great chocolate. I'll have to try other items if I can resist not ordering the dark chocolate mocha every time. They also have smoothies, energy drinks, and other coffee concoctions. No frappes though. That's OK because I want coffee, but my wife only drinks blended frappuccino type drinks. Maybe they can improvise one since they blend and have whipped cream. :) Hooray for good coffee in spring. read more

Where do I start? This is the BEST place to get coffee. For the prices and the flavor- it is delicious in every aspect. The coffee is absolutely amazing (I recommend the iced carmoola), the staff is usually very cheery and kind, and the prices are so affordable!! I have to force myself not to get my daily denovo lol. I seriously am in love with this place and crave it all the time. Starbucks who? Dutch bros WHO? Denovo all the way baby. Even though I do have to drive a bit to get to one (I believe there's only 2 locations), it is so worth it. They give you stamp cards and when you fill it up you get a FREE coffee! You'll have 5 coffees for free before you even get enough stars from Starbucks to get something worth your while. Tuesdays are triple stamp days (per coffee) it's so great. I stopped by here one weekend morning based on so many 5-star reviews. It was a holiday and wasn't entirely sure they were open. I tried calling their number, but no response, so I came anyway. Found the service to be excellent as I interacted with 2 different employees. At most drive-thru's you only usually talk to a single person. They indicated their best sellers are Maui Mocha, Carmoola and Haymaker. Since I'm not a big coffee person and I love coconut, I went with the Maui Mocha and Carmoola. Maui was my favorite by far. Carmoola is their caramel-flavored iced coffee, but it tasted like a simple iced coffee to me which was okay, but I'd choose something else next time. Both drinks were pretty sweet though, so when I find my go-to, I'll probably ask for less syrup. Oh, and the number finally called me back after like a couple of hours.....lol read more

Tonight was my first time trying out DeNovo after driving right passed it a million times. My family of three finally stopped by and asked for recommendations. The guy helping us was super nice, really friendly and quite helpful in helping us make our selections. He was able to chat with us in between making drinks and I felt like we were able to get to really get to know him in the short we were there. Shout out to Joshua for being so awesome! One of the best local coffee stand in town, Charger is my favorite, i always get it in large size with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle. AND they dont charge you extra if you want to add an extra shot into your drink any size. The workers there are extremely nice and lovely, they are always so energetic and helpful. AND DONT FORGET TO ASK FOR A STAMP CARD. you get one free drink any size after 10 stamps. 10* for this small gem. I ll update the picture later. Love these guys! They are so nice, hardworking, and the drinks are awesome! I've been there 4-6 times now and haven't yet had anything I don't like! Saturday 6/6 due to the $2 drinks all day their was a super long line and wait...but I didn't even mind! One of the Denovo guys were leaving to get more cups and came out to my car and personally apologized for the wait and even gave my dog in the backseat a big scratch behind the ears! Then at the window they gave my pups some dog treats and gave me the best coffee I've had in a long time! Awesome job guys! Keep up the good work. If they keep this up they're going to have to expand before they've even been in business a month ;) But in all seriousness I truly love this place! I have yet to get just a normal coffee here yet so take this review with at least one grain of salt. The first time I stopped by this place, I needed something strong to get me across state in one car ride. The guy working the window suggested the SOS. If you have a history of heart problems DONT GET THIS. This thing will get you amped up for 40 days and 40 nights. It was perfect and pretty tasty as well. It had 6 shots of espresso. The people working in this pull up coffee shop are super energetic, young, friendly, and FAST. What more could you ask for? DeNovo has a cool double sided drive thru concept. I'll keep my review for this place short and sweet, like the place itself. Overall, it is a great neighborhood coffee joint slinging strong drinks for the morning. Man, I feel like I am the party pooper giving Denovo three stars instead of the five that other Yelpers are providing. I just tried this place, like 20 minutes ago. With some down time, I thought I would write my review while my memory is still fresh. Their special drinks here aren't bad. My usual order at coffee shops aren't mochas or anything like that, but I decided to try the Haymaker to wake myself up with some sweetness. The drink isn't drowned in sugar and you can definitely taste the coffee. Praises! I am not blown away but am very happy to know that there is a local option versus corporate coffee. You know what I'm saying? Now, I wish I at least experienced the customer service part. The baristas today weren't as friendly as others have mentioned. She sneezed and I politely said "Bless you", and she gave me this weird expression back. She wasn't very talkative, so I don't know if today is an off day or I'm just the black sheep that gets the other end of the service spectrum. It is by no means close to where I live. I was able to stop by because the mechanic that I go to is in the area. Right now, I'm not sure if I will visit again. read more

I'm so glad I came back to try their coffee again! I first tried this place when it first opened and I have to say I was slightly disappointed. The service was awesome, the pricing was fair but the coffee fell short. The espresso wasn't fragrant but I really, really wanted to like this place so I decided to try it again the following week. Again, the service was amazing, they even gave me my extra shot or coconut milk (I forgot what I order) for free! But again, the espresso fell short, something more like an ice coffee than an espresso. Fast forward months later to today! I guess they worked out all the kinks of the new business and business was boomin! I saw yelpers raving about this place so I knew I was missing out on something and they were right. I ordered the haymaker and it was fantastic! The espresso was strong and heavily aromatic. The service was still superb and I can say this is by far my favorite coffee spot in spring. I'm so glad I stopped by again today and I'll probably be back tomorrow. The only thing I could say is that I wish their menu didn't include so many "mocha" drinks. read more

It's really kind of difficult to put into words how I feel about this place, because I've never really looked forward to going somewhere as much as I do DeNovo Coffee in the mornings. The customer service and the people who work here are just downright amazing. I know whenever I pull up that I'm going to be greeted with a smile and be able to talk to warm, welcoming, friendly people who actually remember your name. They ask you how your day is, how's work, how's school, and generally make you feel loved. Oh did I mention their coffee is absolutely amazing? No? Well it is. I'm slowly working my way through the entire menu and I can honestly say that I have yet to find something I don't like. Everything that I have tried up until this point has been amazing, but I think my favorite so far is the Haymaker. It's so good and sometimes the thought of it gets me out of bed in the morning, I'm 100% serious. I seriously want to thank the people running this place for running such an amazing business. You guys and gals definitely deserve all 5 of these stars and I wish I could give you more.
