DeNovo is another favorite coffee spot of mine in Spring, TX! I've frequented this location for years, and it has always stayed consistent. First off, I love the convenience of getting a great drive-thru latte and for an extremely reasonable price nowadays, (only $3 for a small, $4 for medium). The customer service is always friendly and efficient, and they have stamp cards to accumulate 10 stamps for free coffee, if you do come here often. The menu is simple and straight forward, which is also another plus when on the go. I usually order the Cookie (White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Breve), nice and sweet and better tasting than Starbucks or Dutch Bros in my opinion. I'm a longtime fan of DeNovo and for many good reasons!

Absolutely sensational coffee place! The coffee has an amazing taste, the baristas are friendly and helpful, they have a ton of flavor options and combos with sugar free options as well, so it can be relatively healthier than your average coffee locations. I highly recommend giving them a try!

This place gets a little busy in the morning, as I assume most coffee joints do. But they do something really cool on Tuesdays, and that is $2 Tuesdays. Where each and every drink apparently goes for $2 from a size small to a large. So I just got a dirty chai latte blended with an extra shot for only $2. I had no idea, so I'm actually sharing this with others. read more

It's really kind of difficult to put into words how I feel about this place, because I've never really looked forward to going somewhere as much as I do DeNovo Coffee in the mornings. The customer service and the people who work here are just downright amazing. I know whenever I pull up that I'm going to be greeted with a smile and be able to talk to warm, welcoming, friendly people who actually remember your name. They ask you how your day is, how's work, how's school, and generally make you feel loved. Oh did I mention their coffee is absolutely amazing? No? Well it is. I'm slowly working my way through the entire menu and I can honestly say that I have yet to find something I don't like. Everything that I have tried up until this point has been amazing, but I think my favorite so far is the Haymaker. It's so good and sometimes the thought of it gets me out of bed in the morning, I'm 100% serious. I seriously want to thank the people running this place for running such an amazing business. You guys and gals definitely deserve all 5 of these stars and I wish I could give you more. Visiting DeNovo Coffee is definitely the highlight of my mornings and I seriously cannot wait until I make my morning drive up there again. read more

Today was my 4th time grabbing coffee from here and I love it! They are sooo friendly and have the best recommendations! My coffee is always hot and made super quickly! Love their coffee! I had iced coffee twice at DeNovo - Maui mocha the first time and Waltonator the second time. As always I asked for less syrups and they both came out perfect! The coffee is very smooth in my mouth and I enjoyed it a lot! Will definitely come back again. Make sure to check in to get your 15% off!! : ) read more

This place is good but pricey. It would be worth it if the coffee was consistent. The charger is what I usually order and it has a delicious Irish cream flavor. I prefer a little coffee with my cream and that's what I love about this place. Sometimes it's great sometimes it's not so good. I guess it depends on who is making it. The smoothie is WAY too sweet. I ordered one for my daughter and she couldn't drink it because it was too sweet. Too sweet for a four year old people!!! read more

After reading about this place and hearing so many good things, I decided to give them a try. Everyone had previously mentioned how awesome the customer service was, but I didn't experience that on my visit. The girl at the window was not overly helpful. I let her know it was my first time there and what kind of coffee I typically drink and waited for a suggestion. I got kind of a " well it really depends on what you want" kind of stare. I ended up ordering a Maui Mocha blended (very creamy, the chocolate and coconut flavors really came through, but too sweet), an iced Chai Latte (way too sweet, very little Chai taste), and an iced Carmoola less sweet (coffee and caramel taste was good, but still too sweet). I don't like artificial sweeteners so the only way to make it less sweet is to use less flavored syrup. Overall, nice little shop, good prices, and they keep the line moving at a decent pace. They aren't really close to me so I won't be going out of my way for coffee, but I might give them another try if I'm in the area. read more

Wow! I have finally found what I am looking for in Coffee... DeNovo Coffee at Louetta and Kuykendahl is by far the best coffee since Spring Bean Coffee Company left town. Goodbye Starbucks forever :). Briefly met Cody one of the owners and he and his staff is very friendly. The coffee doesn't taste burnt like most of the national chains. I got the Charger and Irish Creme Breve and I see a lot of weekend mornings starting with DeNovo Coffee. This coffee is perfection, so happy they chose Spring, TX to open their first location read more

This place is a grand slam when it comes to coffee. Great coffee, great prices (menu price includes tax) & great service!! Even when the line gets just a tad long, an employee always comes out to take orders to speed up the process. Staff is super friendly & will start up conversations with you! My favorite here is the Maui Coconut! Hopefully Denovo opens more locations in the future & considers the Cypress area (wink wink)! Definitely recommend this little gem! Oh and they even have a rewards card (buy 10, get 11th free)! read more

Favorite coffee spot over SB's any day. I order a Large matcha with whip cream and honey. It's amazing and my wife orders the walternator iced. Live this place and love watching them grow. When they first opened up the staff was like family. It had a different vibe. The current staff is cool but you just can't recreate the magic they had when they first opened. read more

Even if the coffee was crap (it's not) I would still come back just because the owners are so friendly. Definitely one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had- these are people you want to root for and support. The iced Avalanche does not disappoint. It's cheaper than Starbucks, and why would you not want to support the "little guy" instead? This will definitely become a part of my daily commute to work! read more

I tried this place one day (the Tomball location) instead of my usual Starbucks run and got a hot Maui Mocha but had it specialized with a few modifications. It was delicious and is my new favorite drink. One day, when the espresso machine was broken, I tried a blended coffee drink, the kind out of the slushie machine, and now I'm hooked on that for the summer. The staff are always so friendly, and they get to know you. I love this place, and prefer to give my business to them, rather than the big chain. read more

I literally live 5 minutes from this place and it is so hard not to go everyday!!! Love the customer service, always nice and helpful. I've tried almost everything on the menu so when I get tired of ordering my usual, I can't really go wrong picking something else, but they kind of have a secret menu!!! The cookie and Bob Marley are good, but Today!!! Today I went and wasn't sure what I wanted the girl (can't remember her name, sorry) asked what I usually order and I told her the waltonator or the Avalanche. She suggested the Chuck Norris, it was amazing!! My new favorite drink! I love this place more than I ever did Starbucks and when I'm too far away and need a coffee fix and Starbucks is the only place to go, I feel like I'm cheating!! Denovo is awesome, the coffee is amazing, and the staff is spectacular!! read more

I went here with my s.o. for a post-breakfast coffee due to its stellar review score (4.9/5) and was not disappointed! I got an Americano and it was done very well - and she got a plain latte, which she enjoyed. I make it a habit to stop by every Saturday with my family , we absolutely love Denovo not only is the coffee is good but there outstanding customer service , we have a few coffee places all around but they don't engage with there customer and thank us for stopping by I have nothing but love for this location , Jasmine is super sweet and one of the employees that welcomed us and we will forever be loyal customers. read more

Honestly one of the best coffee spots! Head and shoulders above the well known chain without the surly baristas! This place is owned and operated by 2 local boys and I couldn't be more thrilled to support this small business with my patronage. My favorite is the Royal Mocha. I get it fat free and sugar free with an extra shot. Wow! I also like the Coco loco (I think that is the name) in the same fashion. Cappuccino are also spot on, so you just can't go wrong. This place excels on customer service with a little ray of sunshine for your day! ...and of course an infusion of caffeine! read more

Been here a few times on the drive up side. Always had great service. Today I did the walk up counter. There was brunette with a great smile that truly seemed happy to be working (actually both of the girls were happy.) This is so rare now a days that I felt I had to mention it. It says volumes about how a company is run. I thank you. Please keep doing what you have been doing. Btw only 4 stars because no cold brew. She said you guys have tried it and it was really good. I understand it is a select market for this still. I do hope it makes it back on the menu. read more

Starbuck's has nothing on DeNovo! Their coffee is awesome! Whether iced or hot they taste way better than Starbuck's and their service is spectacular. Always a genuine friendly smile and a little small talk while you wait a very short amount of time for your coffee. I have no trouble recommending this place for the best coffee ever! read more

Denova is a awsome place. I go there at least two times a week if you get the right person that knows how to make the drinks it's wonderful ... I find more then often there is no consistency. But I keep getting sucked back in. They have an awesome secret menu.. but a big turnover in employees at Down town Tomball.. Always great friendly service. read more

Like the name suggest, it tasted very almond-y and had a good amount of cinnamon flavored. There was also a tangy fruity flavor that followed and reminded me of spiced cider. - Tiramisu (4.5/5): I was really impressed with their tiramisu. The mascarpone layer was very nice and custardy, yet felt so light and refreshing. I also loved how strong the coffee flavor was which helped balance out the dessert and made it not too sweet. Service/Ambiance: Upon entering, I was really surprised by how pretty the interior was with the mixture of gold and wood. I'm not sure how pack this place usually gets because I came at an off time ( like 1 pm), but they had a good amount of tables and seating available. I did see a handful of people studying, so I think this would be a good quiet study spot.

That's exactly why this visit to the Spring location was so disappointing. When I first arrived, there was nobody at the register, which already set the tone for the visit. What should have been a quick stop then turned into over an hour. I ordered a smoothie and breakfast tacos, and even the smoothie took a while to come out. I finished the entire drink before my food even arrived. After about 30 minutes, I checked in with the staff and was told it was due to "miscommunication" and that someone was new, while the person who took my order was in the back on the phone. I had to repeat my order multiple times, specifically asking for no hot sauce and no salad. Despite that, after another 15 minutes, the tacos finally came out incorrect, with both hot sauce and a salad, and they were lukewarm, not hot. To make matters worse, the smoothie itself wasn't properly blended. What stood out most is that they weren't particularly busy, just a light morning crowd. I've been to the Tomball location when it was much busier, and the service there was still fast and attentive, which set a high expectation. Overall, the experience didn't match the premium pricing. I truly hope this location improves, but based on this visit, I wouldn't return to this one.

The Vietnamese iced coffee with ube foam--or honestly, any of their foams--is incredible. It's authentic, strong, and packed with flavor. My personal favorite is the banana Biscoff foam... it's next level. They also make their taro paste in-house, and you can absolutely taste the difference. It's rich, fresh, and doesn't have that artificial flavor you get at a lot of other places. If you're thinking about trying it--do it. Support this small business. You won't regret it.

I understood they were having power issues and were operating on a generator. Their tablet system appeared to be working, as I could see my order while placing it. I was making a large order for my coworkers and needed an itemized receipt. When I asked for one, I was told they couldn't provide it due to the power outage. I then asked if they could pull up my order on the tablet so I could take a photo of it, and I was told "yes, one second." However, after my order was ready and I followed up, the staff member seemed irritated and repeated that they couldn't provide a receipt because of the power issue. I clarified that I only needed to take a picture of the order on the screen, which I thought we had already agreed on. I also didn't realize that every add-on they offer comes with an extra charge. For example, when asked what kind of milk I wanted, it wasn't mentioned that 2% milk (which is typically the default) had an upcharge. Additionally, when a soft top was offered for an iced drink, it wasn't disclosed that it was a $1.50 extra charge. This was frustrating, as these add-ons were suggested by staff without clarifying the additional cost. While the issue was eventually resolved, I left feeling unhappy with the overall experience. I did return once afterward, but between the inconsistent beverages and the lack of transparency around pricing, I don't think I'll be coming back.

The blue fin tuna tostados were delightful and hands down the best dish we had. Ceviche mixto was excellent with a just a hint of heat. I would order these two appetizer dishes again. Main courses consisted of duck 2 ways, redfish with green mole and risotto, spring cavatelli, and grilled shrimp & pork belly. All were delicious and uniquely tasty with the exception of the duck. Mind you, I really like duck and the sliced portions were excellent and perfectly seasoned and moist, but the pate-like accompaniment was not that good, plus the mole sauce was not what I was expecting. These guys have everything: great coffee, great people, top notch service, and ridiculously fair pricing and generous loyalty program. The Haymaker is my daily go to, and the SOS is my motivation out of bed on a Monday morning or after a late night.
