I was in a parking lot, some lady was parked next to me. Her kids flung the door open into the side of my car, putting a huge ding in my rear passenger side door really close to the door handle. All this happened while I was standing there, so needless to say I was fuming. At least I was there and got the woman's contact info. I went to get an estimate from a body shop I've used before, and the quote was over $1,000. Because of the location of the dent so close to the back edge of the door, they would have to paint the adjacent panel to get everything to match, and in the process would need to remove the door handle and rear side panel glass. Before following through and being without my car for a week, I talked to Bill from Dent Logic. I met him at the car dealership in the afternoon, since he was already there, he took a look, wasn't sure if he could fix the dent because of the location so close to the back edge of the door, but said he'd give it a try. An hour later he finished and my door looked great! No sign of the dent, and I didn't have to have anything repainted I can't recommend Bill highly enough! My car was struck by a golf ball and I had serious doubts about the dent being removed without taking the car to a body shop. Bill came out to look at my car and within an hour he was finished making the repair. I came out to look at my car thinking I would have to except some kind of flaw but to my amazement I couldn't see a thing wrong with my car's finish. Bill is a PDR pro or better yet a PDR magician! Bill is a super great guy. I contacted him in regards to a dent repair on my hood that was in a more difficult, harder to reach place due to it being very close to the edge. Bill is a miracle worker!! I've used his services on three different occasions now and he is the best!! He arrives on time, calls when a few minutes out, does excellent work and his prices are very fair. I just had him remove a "racquet ball size dent" out of the side of my (aluminum paneled) rear passenger door. I can't even see a trace of the dent anymore and it's a gloss black panel so it was VERY noticeable before.
