Over 599 reviews w/ avg of 5 stars - So that must mean the guy is doing something right? I have never written a bad review because I don't want to hurt someone's business just based on one bad experience.... "Those that rip-off hard working individuals, lie and falsely accuse others... God has a plan. Karma is a...." I honestly believe that Sean's professionalism, attitude, and communication are definitely not 5 stars...I'll let you judge for yourself: I contacted Sean via yelp to get a quote. I clearly told him there are 3 vehicles and that they are not all mine. He offered to give me a 50% discount on the additional vehicles dents if they are done at same location at the same time. He stated he does NOT typically do this, the 50 percent discount for additional dents normally only applies to dents on the same vehicle. I asked him if the yelp 10% off would apply he said no because he was giving me the above discount. Sean was prompt. He immediately started working on the first vehicle, a Porsche 911, tried to pop out the dent with a PDR rod which resulted in an additional dent and "star" at the point of contact making it look much worse! He later states it is going to require more work but he doesn't have the time or energy since he just got back from vacation He stated that he owns the same car and his car had a similar dent and he needed more tools which he didn't have on him. At this point I should have been thinking... a professional should not just start hammering away without a gameplan. If he knew that wouldn't work, why would you do something that would make it worse? After that he started working on the next car, a Tesla Model 3. Overall he removed more than 90 percent of the dent. We could still see it but he kept telling us that it's just the reflection. He was working directly under the sun even though there was an opportunity to move the car to a shaded area. He wanted me to pay for this vehicle immediately, I told him I'll pay him for all the cars together but he kept insisting so I paid him the full amount requested He looks at the 3rd car and said there are 3 door dings, I thought it was only 2. I thought it was unreasonable to pay that amount because he said he not sure he cant completely remove them b/c of the bodyline. This is when he got mad and said he can't do the Audi. After I moved the Model 3 and the direction of the sunlight changed I could see individual hammer indents and the dent on the body line was even more visible. I MESSAGED SEAN VIA YELP: " Hi Sean, just FYI as per your quote "You'd be looking at $250 to remove the dent and restore the bodyline of the aluminum fender" .But after I had already paid. you can out you pointed out is not aluminum....I don't mind just wanted to point it out. I believe in honesty...." Also I noticed when the sun hits it from top the dent still shows on body line. I GAVE HIM 24 HOURS, BUT NO RESPONSE, so I messaged him: "All I wanted was a response and explaination, but you did not even respond. I'll just write a review" he decided to respond... SEAN: " You wanted to extend the discount w/out doing the initial cars... then you want to extend the discount to every friend and family member. That's not how it works!!" ME: You didn't want to do the Porsche not me.... I told you 3 vechiles I [g]ave you the chance to do 3 ... You had the opportunity to do 4 cars... I had them drive there to ensure you had at least 3 vehicles.. Sorry for trying to get you another customer I already told you before hand it's my brothers" SEAN: "You were charged for a 3" dent on two bodylines. Do the math... The Porsche couldn't be done. It was not by choice!" I asked him two body lines? Sean Responded: "It also has an edge which is a bodyline!!!" I sent him a picture that clearly shows the dent still visible on the body line ... NO FURTHER RESPONSE Do the math? OKAY even with the BS of 2 body lines... 3 inch dent = 159 + 25 % extra per bodyline = 159 + (39.75 x2) = 238.50 ( w/o the yelp discount) not 250 Instead of admitting a mistake, he was rude and didn't even address the issue of the dent that was still visible... All I needed was "Sorry our not satisfied, how can I make this right" - I didn't want a refund! So I ending up taking the Cars to "Dent Discount" Ken is amazing he fixed Sean's work and did the rest of the cars. My advice to Sean: (1) Learn to talk/communicate! (2) Admit when your wrong. A simple apology goes a long way. (3) the use of excessive exclamation marks does not help explain you point !!! (4) Learn to do the math before you tell someone else to do it. First, this is a real review from an actual paying customer with factual photos (I have all the Yelp messages, emails, and receipt as proof of authenticity). I contacted Sean from DentPro Mobile to fix some scratches on the front bumper of a Lexus RX 350. These are only paint scratches without denting. Sean came to my place on Friday 7/22 at noon. Sean did not just sand the scratch lines but he sanded the entire area including the scratch lines. As a result, the clear coat in the non-scratch area has the sanding marks. He used a small hand brush to apply a couple layers of the white color coat on the scratches (only on the scratch lines). Then, he was pretty much done (in less than an hour). He told me no scrub and no wax for the next 3 to 4 weeks then it would look better. Afterward, I kind of doubted what he said. First, in the non-scratch area, the clear coat was also sanded. How can that look better? Second, the hand brushed painted lines will NOT magically blend into the surrounding area by themselves WITHOUT sanding and polishing. To confirm my suspicion, I checked some videos from the pros fixing scratches on YouTube and I realized Sean skipped a lot of important steps. This is what he did NOT do: After the color coats, he did NOT sand the color coat down to an even surface He did NOT apply the clear coat to the entire sanded area He did NOT sand the clear coat down to smooth surface He did NOT gradually wet-sand (1000 grits to 1500 grits to 2000 grits) and did not feather out the fix area to blend the existing surface He did NOT use the compound polish to blend the painted lines in He did NOT use the pre-wax polish to further blend the painted lines in. Basically, Sean skipped the entire clear coat, sanding down, and blending steps which are ultra important to achieve a blend-in look. According to the instruction videos, those steps are 70% of the job right there. Either Sean did not know what he was doing, did not have the technique to fix paint scratches, or he cut corners big time. Either way, I wasted $259 and ended up with a badly looking fix (carefully examine the photos for yourself). I think Sean only knows how to do paintless dent repair (PDR). In this case, he should NOT have accepted paint scratched jobs. Lesson learned the hard way and my money is wasted but I hope to save yours and a load of irritation. I do NOT recommend DentPro Mobile for fixing paint and scratches. You don't have to take my word for it, just carefully examine the actual photos here and decide for yourself if this is the result you want for your car. read more

I purchased a brand new 2019 Subaru Outback from Stevens Creek Subaru, and the morning after I brought it home, I noticed a dent in the door somewhat hidden by the door handle. I am not sure why this business has 5 stars. We have hired Dent Pro to fix a dent so we can return a leased car. He charged us $500 plus took another $100 to polish a few small scratches. Polish was horrible and the worse I have ever seen (owner of a black vehicles speaking here so I have done polish for many years and know the difference). I discovered a nasty ding in my car. I explained to Sean that the car is wrapped, so it couldn't be "pulled" out, or it would damage the wrap. After an unfortunate hit and run along with a ~$1300 body shop estimate, decided to get a quote from Sean as Dent Pro Mobile was the highest rated Paintless Dent Removal Mobile shop in San Jose. Sean was quick in providing a quote and was able to do so via e-mail with merely photos. The scheduling of the repair took a few days and Sean was able to come by making it super convenient. After a couple hours, the car looks significantly better without having a couple panels repainted. Upon closer examination, there is a "clip" mark along with a slightly uneven rear quarter panel. The biggest highlight is that in low light, the panels aren't darker than the rest of the vehicle. After having the paint cure for the full 30 days, took the car out for a good wash and the panel looks much better, ~90% better. ...next time I have an unfortunate incident, I'll make sure to call Sean! :) read more
