Think twice before hiring, the price may seem better than other repair shops but not worth it. I know he mentioned that the job would not look well but for being a "Dent pro" he really left a lot of outward dents on his finish work. Not only did he charge me for an extra labor fee to take parts off and put back on, he didn't put back the trim cover and back headlight back on. I had to do it myself. I picked Dent Pro Mobile as Sean was very responsive through email over the week-end, and was able to give me appointment the following Monday. Great experience especially for the price. I recently had two dents (one large and one medium) serviced by Sean on my 2013 Scion FR-S. I first requested a quote from Sean and of course I checked out quotes from other businesses as well. I found Sean's quote to be the cheapest so I decided to go with him and I was definitely happy with my results. Upon chatting with Sean, he immediately communicated with me that he would be able to touch-up the dents to make them look 90-95% better. In the first dent that he serviced, I can't even tell that there was a dent there to begin with. In the 2nd dent, although it wasn't completely gone, it's nearly invisible to the eye unless you get real close to stare at it. Someone gifted my car with a deliberate door ding right on the crease which also took off the paint. Backed the upper rear right side panel of my minivan into an overhanging tree trunk/branch while parallel parking. Sean responded quickly to my email and said that "due to the severity of the damage and their location I would only be able to greatly improve them, not remove them completely... you'd be looking at roughly 90-95% better." He was able to come out to my home the next business day (since his work has been significantly reduced by the effects of shelter-in-place). True to his word, he did a great job but not as good as new, initially pulling back the dented areas with a slide hammer and hot glue/plugs, and then drilling a small hole on the other side of the panel (under liftgate) to finally manipulate the body panel from the inside out. It took him just over an hour to do the repair. There's still a visible break in the bodyline, but I see it mostly because I'm looking for it, from behind the car (see photos). He also did some minimal (factory) paint touchup to deal with a couple spots where the paint had been scratched more deeply. I never bothered to go to a body shop, knowing that replacing the panel would've easily cost more than $2000. It was worth the significantly lower $424 I paid to get out a very visible and nasty dent. read more

Terrible after sales experience. if you're looking for touch up paint repair I would recommend researching other vendors. The touch ups ended up with much darker color than the surrounding paint. Sean kept insisting to wait until 30 days for the paint to cure and eventually will change to brighter color. 30 days passed and no change. Finally asked for a photo of the touch up paint bottle he used, for validation with Volvo. It was not the right one according to Volvo, but Sean kept insisting and talked down Volvo as having no experience in touch up paint, even though it's Volvo genuine touch up paint. I applied some up the touch up paint for sampling, and the color did match. I'm planning to redo myself the touch ups. read more

It would be nice, sometimes, to be able to give more than 5 stars. My car had been stored in the garage of a home I was renting to long-time tenants. Somehow, a large dent appeared low on the left rear quarter panel around the time they were moving out. It was about 9x9 inches but the paint was intact. This was on my 2011 VW that I plan on keeping for a long time. I contacted Sean through Yelp and he responded in less than 30 minutes. I sent him photos of the damaged area. He responded promptly with a quote and information regarding the repair process. I made an appointment for the repair to happen today. Sean continually kept in touch by text message regarding his ETA and arrived a few minutes early. He allowed me to watch the entire process (and didn't charge extra for the privilege!) He is a true artist; what he does is akin to sculpture and his attention to detail is amazing. The process took about one hour. What had been a significant defect is now unnoticeable and the cost is reasonable. Beside the quality of the craftsmanship, though, Sean's exceptional customer service demands comment. He goes above and beyond with communication and timely service. Like his work, his customer service is extremely detailed (and appreciated.) I can't imagine a better experience. Sean fixed several small dents, one larger dent and did some touch-up on my 2013 Lexus LS 460. He arrived promptly at the time he said he would and was very organized. His knowledge of the vehicle's many panels and access points was amazing. He said in advance that the large dent, that was right on the real wheel opening, would be 90% gone and it was better than that. The smaller dents disappeared completely as were the several small rock chips that had the paint repaired. My father was in the auto repair and paint business for 55 years and he would have been amazed at the results that Sean achieved. Being from the old school, my father would have used a body grinder and Bondo on the the larger dent, while Sean repaired it without breaking the paint. At 90% repaired, you have to look carefully to find where it was.
