On my last GEHA phone call , I was told their independent 3rd party reviewer does not have my dental records / radiological reports so my claim could not be processed .News to me ( very slick delay tactic) and a lie because previous GEHA communications NEVER mentioned a 3rd party needing ANY info. There was never a request for my dentist to sent documentation to GEHA's subcontractor. HERES THE BLATANT FRAUD PART...IF GEHA HAS MY DOCUMENTATION WHY CAN'T THEY FORWARD THAT DOCUMENTATION TO THEIR OWN SUBCONTRACTOR REVIEWER? ANSWER : DELAY = MORE PROFIT. This insurance is a total scam . I'm waiting for a denial letter so I can pursue litigation , grievance and follow-up with OPM. I am really disappointed the OPM did not properly vet GEHA dental insurance . If you are disappointed in GEHA dental insurance speak up... power in numbers , don't give up. I really wanted to give no stars. I have never been so pissed about dental work. I am legally blind…read moreclose up and I didn't have my glasses when I went to the dentist. I work nights and had about 2 hrs sleep missed my apt so I called to see if I could still get in. They worked me in . They asked about the color I said I can't see I don't have my glasses. So my 3000.00 bridge is put in. Dentist hands me the mirror and ask if I wanted to see. Of course I want to see but again I can't without my glasses. And that's what I tell them. My mouth is numb I go home go back to bed so I can work that night. I get up to go to work look at my teeth and can't believe what I see. If I was that dentist I would of never let me leave. The front tooth is crooked 3 of the teeth curved under and it's not even close to the color they told me we were ordering. So I called of course I had to wait until Thursday since they are only open Monday and Thursday. So o got in Monday at 1145 again only a couple hrs of sleep. But I did take my glasses this time. Buyer beware if you leave with dental work in your mouth and do not like it you can get it fixed if you pay for it. They do not take any responsibility for their part. I didn't have my glasses but I also trusted my dentist to do his best job. It took me 5 years to save the money to get my bridge. And now I have to find someone to go find someone to fix it because I'm sure not going back there.
