Dr. Park told me that my mom's cost was covered by the insurance and staff called me and said only half are covered and we need to cover the half. She and the staff know the business well enough to lie in front and want patients to pay out of pocket. They will just say that the insurance company wouldn't approve it. This dentist should lose her license and her staff should not have client-facing jobs. The dentist misdiagnosed my situation from the beginning, fitted me with crowns that messed up my bite, didn't know how to answer a question about long-term care, did not advise me how to care for a temporary cement job, and the crown fell out in less than four days. The staff misquoted the prices of the procedures, got the dates and times of my appointments wrong, couldn't understand simple questions such as "does she have any other times?" and saw no problem with letting a painful, open gap fester for almost a week. This is the worst office I have ever interacted with and I will be filing a grievance with my insurance for a refund of all the messed-up work she did. Avoid at all costs. DR PARK WAS GREAT BUT HER RECEPTIONIST STAFF NEEDS IMPROVEMENT. 1st time here as a new patient, the receptionist would not take my mobile insurance card with all my member info showing I was assigned to this office. She had me call my insurance to confirm. I waited on hold for 30 minutes past my appointment time until Dr. Park came out to investigate the delay and invited me to her office. Dr. Park and her dental assistant were friendly, efficient and explained everything thoroughly, however I will not be returning due to both of the receptionists unsatisfactory customer service and their attempt to charge me cash for procedures covered by my plan. Front office staff was very kind, welcoming, and easy to communicate with. I was able to book a last minute appointment for a cleaning and I'm glad I got it done here! It was my first time at this office and I was pleased to see that all COVID-19 precautions were being enforced- no entry without masks, lots of hand sanitizer provided at the front, and plenty of social distancing. The dentist also explained everything very well and the cleaning was painless! 5 stars for a clean environment, excellent service, lovely front office staff, and professional service. Updating my review because I ended up trying them out one more time (even after the rude customer service) and it happened again! I finally got the receptionist's name and it's Kathy. NOT friendly at all, rushes you when speaking, gets an attitude when I can't understand some of the things she's saying and the fact that she is wearing a mask does not help either. Keep in mind, I'm being polite when asking for her to repeat herself too. I showed up on time for my filling and deep cleaning appt and was told that not only do they have to charge me for a medication that I was never charged before for fillings with them and that the dentist was running behind. So I asked Kathy for the code so I can call Medi-cal/Dental and I stepped right outside the door to make the phone call. After 5 mins, I come back in and she comes out saying "Oh I thought you left, we came looking for you". I was shocked because it was a lie being that I was right outside the door. She then cont. to say that it's too late to do a full mouth deep cleaning because of it". Are you kidding me? I pretty much reiterated that I made the appt for a full mouth deep clean, was on time then told the dentist was running late. And the minute I step out to confirm that medication is covered for me and come back in, I'm at fault?! I finally said, "I'm cancelling my appt" and she goes "ok" and walks away. Dr. Park, the dentist, is great. She is kind and warm and she is a wonderful dentist. BUT! Her office staff are horrible. They are rude and have nasty attitudes. When I call, they have no desire to help in any way. They are so incompetent, it's shocking! They don't even let me finish my sentence, they just cut me off and interrupt me again and again. STAY AWAY. Even if you have insurance. They only treat you decent if you're CASH customer. Their excuse is insurance only pays a small fraction of the claim and don't make any money. They denied treatments unless we pay $500 deep cleaning procedure FIRST even though our insurance says cleaning is covered. They target seniors who are easy prey. If you have any dental need go somewhere else because: They will overcharge you even with insurance They will make you wait weeks/months because you have low paying insurance They will not treat you unless you pay cash even though it's covered by your insurance Appointments are given priority to cash customers regardless of your urgency/pain or appointments made weeks ago And the best part of this clinic is the short/oldest Korean Receptionist who is unprofessional and unscrupulous and smiles ONLY when you pay her cash. read more

I had an amazing experience here! The receptionist was so friendly and accommodating, and Dr. Park was patient, gentle and clearly an expert, and the price was reasonable! I had a chipped tooth and the doctor did a great job on the bonding. Initially I wasn't completely satisfied with the color shade of the tooth. The doctor explained that the materials only come in limited shades and don't match every tooth color, and yet despite having done most of the procedure she didn't charge me. After calling around and finding from other dentists they couldn't promise an exact shade either, I went back to her to finish the job. Dr. Park had a go at merging two different shades together and it actually turned out even better, I'm really happy. She was so patient with me even though I'd wasted some of her time. My sister came in for her wisdom teeth removal. The dentist was the old man. I don't know what his name is, but he did not wait till the anesthesia kicked in and my sister came out crying after the procedure. Unfortunately she has to do this procedure 3 more times because they can't take all 4 wisdom teeth out at once. My sister was in a lot of pain and was crying throughout the whole ordeal and he didn't care to stop and ask if she needed more time for the anesthesia to kick in. Horrible. read more

My mother in law needed dental services and I made an appointment with Ashley very nice lady and she helped me set an appt for her. First it was set for 2:30 Saturday then in the middle of the week they call her to say it was changed to 10:30 same day but my mother in law didnt understand so I called back and the person on the phone was rude and seemed to want me to get off the phone, she told me that she should come in a 9:30 since they close early on Saturday. I went to this place for the first time. I never had a dental assistant clean my teeth before. It was always done by a dentist or a dental hygienist in other places. The korean girl who dyed her hair blonde, worked on my teeth and she was very clumsy and rough with her hands. She was drilling my lips and gums, which hurt really bad. I told her it hurt. However, she kept going but in the same manner. Also, the suction made the water splash all over my face and neck. I stopped her and asked her if the dentist could do it, and she just cut me off by saying "dentist doesn't clean teeth here. And you don't have much plaque, so I'm going to stop and polish."I think she should have at least checked with her boss, instead of trying to cover her shortcomings.
