His prices are very affordable. His office has been renovated, very modern, very clean. His son works with him too. If you are from another country he tries to get all your dental work in 1 or 2 visits. Very considerate that way. The assistant and son speak fluent english, and several others too. A lot of people are skeptical of crossing the border for dental care but I've got nothing but compliments for Dr.Garcia and his associates. Throughout the years I've needed some fillings a root canal, deep cleaning and a few of cosmetic repairs. I could never afford to get any of this done in San Diego. My dentist in LA wanted to charge for a crown and work I didn't need. Her practice has state of the art equipment including the newest handheld X-ray equipment so they don't have to jam plastic inserts into your mouth. They have outstanding imaging software so you can see everything in high definition color. If you are thinking about driving to Mexico to get dental work done, just do it. The doctors in the US are most likely ripping you off and doing work you don't need. Dr. Olivas does too quality work and is honest. Well worth the drive.

I came in to get my wisdom teeth removed along with an overlay, and I was pretty nervous at first, but the entire team made me feel so comfortable and taken care of. I requested to be fully knocked out for the procedure, which I couldn't recommend more with someone who has anxiety going to the dentist. In total for a full exam, x ray, cleaning, wisdom teeth removal, and overlay, I paid $1500. Dr. Lopez is incredibly knowledgeable and truly impressive--he took the time to explain everything in a way that made me feel confident and at ease. You can tell he's extremely skilled and genuinely cares about his patients. The procedures went smoothly, and the quality of work exceeded all my expectations. The clinic itself is clean, professional, and very well run. I was honestly blown away by how much better the overall experience was compared to dentists I've been to in California--not just in terms of cost, but especially the level of care and expertise. I thought I'd be getting an extraction and implant, as I was told that I'd need a root canal and crown on this tooth.. But dr Ricardo was amazing and actually managed to fix the issue and save the tooth from root canal. I am truly grateful and loved the staff and all I met there. My friend just accompanied me as it was my first time going to Tijuana and walking in and she lives nearer in San Diego and does trips there more frequently. She ended up getting a cleaning and night guards the same day-- gratefully they could fit her in around my appointment. It was such an excellent experience for both of us! Highly recommended. I needed 2…read moreimplants and my San Diego dentist wanted to charge me $6500 for both with limited payment plan options. I consulted with Dr. Gonzalez and he could do both for $3800. Being able to save $2700 allowed me to pay in full. The front desk coordinator, Anna, was fabulous. Since I live in South Bay, I could park close to the San Ysidro crossing or save $ by taking the Blue Line Trolley. Must have a passport to cross but afterwards, called an Uber which cost about USD 2.00. The Uber app automatically changed once I crossed the border. Anna would always request an Uber until I was familiar enough do it myself. If you have Global Entry, that's a huge plus. You can bypass the long lines and walk right through. Nice office if a bit small. Equipment looks nice and definitely as nice as my SD dentist. Husband has had 2 crowns placed and we did our general cleaning there until we got dental insurance stateside. I will definitely return for any dental needs that my dental insurance does not cover!
