I would give them a zero if I could. I sent my 18 year old son there for a scheduled cleaning. They instead told him he had to first have a new patient check-up and x-rays. Next appointment was to fill cavities. They told him our insurance didn't pay for the resin fillings (the only ones they do) and that he owed $300. He thought that was for the fillings and paid it. It was actually for the first time patient appointment. The bill is outrageous and they won't work with us at all. They saw an opportunity to rip off an unsuspecting kid and took him for over $1200. read more

this place is inconsistent with their providers in orthodontic care. I would not recommend going here. the orthodontist is now only available once a month! they have canceled appointments saying they didn't have enough staff. never received a call back. pretty sure my sons baby teeth are not falling out now because of the expander and retainer they said he needed. I wish I would have been more skeptical because the whole ortho plan seems like a money making scam. I'm looking else where. The receptionists were always nice and the dental assistants. Terrible experience. New patient, and waited over an hour. Just needed a cleaning and was told I had to do an entire x ray exam and when I said okay and will I also get the cleaning? They said the dental hygienist is booked the whole day. Complete waste of time, going somewhere else. read more

I showed up for a scheduled cleaning, and they told me they did not have a hygienist. The person at the reception desk said "You should have received a text or phone call." However, I didn't receive any notification at all. How can you have a dental practice without a single hygienist? Why did all of your hygienists leave at once? I couldn't even reschedule because they didn't know when they would get a hygienist. Don't go to this practice--there's clearly something wrong behind the scenes. Also, it is nearly impossible to schedule using their outsourced call center phone system. Even when you are an established patient, it's not possible to speak with someone at the Greensburg office. read more

I've been a patient for a while, but it's now impossible to get them to answer the phone at the local office. Your call goes directly to a call center, and the call center will tell you that there are no appointments available except at one particular time of day--only 8:50am appointments, for instance. They will not offer any alternatives. The call center is extremely slow and you will be put on hold multiple times just for them to tell you they have no other appointments. Asking to be transferred to the local office does no good--you'll be told that the local office is busy and can't take your call. I guess I'm going to have to find a new dentist since I'm no longer able to make an appointment here. This is not a good business model. read more

This by far is the worse dental office I have ever dealt with. In 2024 this office canceled my 2 boys and my dental appointments 3 times. I pay for dental insurance through work and my kids nor I were able to use it or keep up with our dental care. This last cancelation was the last straw. They canceled and told me to call back to reschedule. I was directed to their answering service where the people are foreign and hard to understand. The answering service did transfer me to the Greensburg office only to find out it was closed. Are you serious? Does this office have staffing issues?Or are there a bunch of people who don't want to work over the holidays? GET YOUR GREENSBURG OFFICE TOGETHER. I am sure I am not the only one you did this to in 2024. If you keep up your unprofessional attitude you won't have a business long! Worst dentist I've ever been to. I had to return three times after getting a filling done because they kept doing it incorrectly and I was left in pain. Mind you, I had no pain at all prior to the filling. I went to a new dentist who confirmed they did the filling incorrectly. Now I have to pay hundreds out of pocket to get their horrible work fixed since insurance won't cover the same filling again, but I would pay any amount of money to never have to go back to Dentalworks so I guess it's worth it read more

Our family will not be going here again. Care was fine for about two years until our son was told he had a cavity. The dentist said it would be an easy fix. We showed up for the filling and saw a new dentist, Dr. Butler (no one told us the other one had left) and he did not want to do the filling since he was 7 years old and we were told we should see a pediatric dentist. Unfortunately the peds dentist told me that Dr. Butler should have been able to take care of it. We were lied to by Dental works and given the run-around. No one told us about a change in dentists and now we don't have a practice who is willing to take care of my son's cavity. This establishment just wants to make money and does not want to be bothered with anything that will be inconvenient on their part. Go somewhere else. read more

I had a great experience here and they fixed my issue well and timely. Sadly, I overpaid (due to insurance) and have been calling/inquiring since my service in Feb 2022 (over 10 months now). I'm owed over $400 and can't seem to get it - or get a call back regarding this. I'm not sure what other outlets there are. Worst dentist I've ever been to. Worst work done ever, an tom gretz is an asshole. Wouldn't send my dog there. Back on Dec 16 I had 4 teeth pulled on top an was supposed to get a partial put in rite after my teeth were pulled. Well the partial didn't fit so he cut the clips off of it an glued it to the roof of my mouth with denture glue instead of saying hey it doesn't fit he jammed it in my mouth crooked as he'll with denture glue in my fresh raw sockets that he just pulled teeth out of. The I'll fitting things were so uncomfortable but he said to leave it for the night. So I did. The next morning wen he told me to take it out it ripped all the blood clots with it from the glue. It took 3 days for the glue to come off my tongue. I got 4 dry sockets. Then he refused to give me any pain meds an told me it was all in my head an tried blamin my dry sockets on any an everything besides the fucking glue he jammed in my mouth. Trying to tell Mr my meds did it. It's because I smoked. With I didn't. Literally anything he could to take the blame off himself. An to top it off. I still gave him a chance an let him do filling on top of my mouth. Worst work ever. Pain full an they look like a filling in my mouth I had done 5 years ago. Seepage lines, dark an sucnkin in. Like there already falling out, an I gotta look at the before an after xrays because I'm positive he ground away 80 percent more of the teeth then he should have. I'm really not happy at all. U have no idea how much I sufferd from this guy. An he got smart ass comments all the time, while I was getting my teeth pulled the ones that he gave me dry sockets from he screamed at me because I needed to sit forward for a second. With a super raised voice he told me I'm not in charge there an I needed to sit back, so I did an then his assistant started dumping water in my face Literally water boarding me. He was holding me back while water was dumped all over me an my face. Was having the worst panic attack an he just kept prying away. At that point it seemed like he was pissed off. Like u were scared to ask or say anything. An now everytime I see him he has something smart ass to say. He should be shut down just like his dad. His father was told by a judge that he wasn't allowed to be a dentist anymore because he was really fucking people up. Apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Do ur research before u let some asshole ruin ur health an put u in so much pain. read more

*Update* (They have reached out to me to resolve my concerns, to be fair, I will repost once we are all done, and resolved, they are taking positive steps to work with us, and it is appreciated!) Long time customer...almost 30 yrs...concerning general dentist, I have no complaints, actually I believe Dr. P. is the best with a needle...no pain. However, they should part ways with their Orthodontics division. It is dragging a great dentistry practice down...big time! Too many billing issues with the Orthodontic department...I ask for a FINAL balance, the number always changes...even asking just days apart, just for confirmation efforts!!?? I've asked at least 4-5 times for a final remaining balance, got 4-5 different amounts, I asked, is there interest?? "No, you have no interest " I've seen enough red flags here, I asked one last time, for a final remaining balance...even then I got 2 different amounts... I took the higher amount and paid it all in full, asking, "Are any future visits and even retainers covered in the final price?" "Yes, everything! You are all paid up!" Is what I was told...yet they still tell me I owe more... and different amounts still! Very Unprofessional, these integrity issues are not worth your time. My advice to you, patiently research other practices. You'll be glad you did!! read more

I've only been a patient at DentalWorks for a year, but I've already had considerable work done there, since my last visit to the dentist had been several years ago. Don't be put off by the location (in the Sears store at Westmoreland Mall). Dr. Pierchoski is a pro and his staff are top notch. They are friendly and flexible. They'll patiently answer your questions. Their prices were fair and they took my insurance. Most important of all, Dr. Pierchoski has steady hands and a soft touch.
