My son has always been a little nervous and scared but…read morewould ultimately be ok until today....he was upset from he beginning and instead of trying to calm him the dentist was getting mad at him he was saying his nose hurt from the gas mask they gave him a needle which they've never done before without letting me know he was screaming for me crying kept asking to see me they wouldn't allow me in the room and even told him if he didn't calm down and breath in the gas they were gonna give him another needle but said it in a kind of threatening way. We will NEVER be back and I will never recommend this place to anyone. My son left absolutely traumatized.

She has anxiety and he made her feel so comfortable. He patiently explained what he was doing, answered her 90 questions and we were in and out of there pretty quickly. No more pain. The funny part is - and I hope you are reading this Dr F- earlier in the day out of desperation-when I found out he was on vaca and my daughter was in pain, I briefly called another dentist who told me they could see me but I would have to switch permanently. I reported this to my 10 year old daughter and asked her what she wanted to do. Through her severe pain she replied, "No. I don't want to switch. I really like Dr Frankel". Within a few minutes Dr Frankel called and responded to message but you have to wonder- a 10 year old would rather put up with severe pain than switch doctors?!! What does that day about Dr Frankel. They take pride in their work and do things thoroughly. They also are very sure of dental work needed prior to doing any of it. They make you feel so comfortable and help you understand everything they suggest and what's in your treatment plan. The receptionist is very helpful when trying to make an appointment and works with you on finding the best date and time for your convenience. They also have a great appointment reminder text message service so you don't miss your appointment. Sharon is the best hygienist I have ever gone to. She is super friendly and immediately puts you at ease the second you sit in her chair. The care she takes during the cleanings is something I have never seen before. She knows what's she's doing and helps you understand the benefits in what she suggests you do with your at home care. Dr. Chaudhry is amazing as well. She listens to you when you have questions or concerns and while she is thorough in her examination and the work she is performing, she is super gentle. We found Dr. Patel about 6 months ago after a difficult visit to an orthodontist. My son needed a…read morepalate expander, and we were running out of time to do it because of growth. While the orthodontist was kind and did his best, there was no way he was equipped to handle this with my very sensitive/sensory challenged son, and both visits were traumatizing and unsuccessful. Dr. Patel, and her wonderful staff - especially Maryluz who truly went above and beyond to help us-- got our son back into a trusting place, then were able to fit him and finally get the palate expander on with no trauma. We will forever be grateful because we know this goes beyond appearance - it is important for his health for a lifetime. We moved our 5 year old to the practice as well.
