Wow, just wow... where else can I begin!?!? What a great company! What a great service technician! What a great experience! Fortunately, the experience with Denton Appliance Repair was unmarred by the negative experience with another company the same day. Let me explain, I called an A/C repair service through my home warranty company and unfortunately, due to their lack of competency, I had to reschedule with DAR twice, but that was no problem for them, at least they didn't communicate it to me. The gentleman who arrived to fix my dishwasher showed up before my A/C guy and he was done before the A/C guy left, oh yeah, the A/C guy didn't fix a thing and was short tempered the whole time. But enough about them, the kind, professional technician with Denton Appliance Repair, told me what was wrong, what he was doing to fix it, double and triple checked that it was fixed, talked me through the services afterward and asked if I had any questions. Then, he called back later to inform me, he discovered some water under my sink before he began and wanted to let me know so I could check for leaks! I asked for his card and I wanted to give him a tip on top of the service charge for my home warranty repair, but I didn't know if that was appropriate or if it would get him in trouble. Summary: my experience with Al and Denton Appliance Repair was very positive, service beyond my expectations, and price for the work needed very reasonable. I Needed an older Kenmore dryer repaired because it wasn't providing hot air. The drum would turn, but something was preventing the hot air from circulating. Made an repair request via the website and received a phone call from the business owner Al within a few hours confirming the day and time of the appointment. And shortly after that, received a confirmation via the online scheduler. The day of the appointment, the scheduler sent a text message that Al was on his way and Al called himself. He was exactly on time, very professional and friendly. The cable TV installers of the world could learn from him. Within short order of arrival Al had troubleshot all the things that might have been the culprit but weren't and eventually (and correctly) determined it was an electronic component on the the logic board that had failed. After agreeing on the final price of the Part plus his labor/expertise, I offered half of the amount to get the part ordered, and Al set the day/time for his return. Once again, Al was punctual and quickly installed the required part and made sure the dryer worked as it should. At the end I am a very happy customer and will definitely contact Al again should I need other home appliances repaired. read more

The other reviews for Denton Appliance Repair are spot on. We have a 7-yr old LG Dryer that yesterday sounded as if it was about to explode. I placed a call to a local (Denton) appliance dealer who apparently did not carry or service LG appliances, but they were kind enough to recommend to me Denton Appliance Repair. At 10:40 am, I googled my way to their website (dentonappliancerepair.com) to get the number to call, and discovered that I could book an appointment online. It was fast, simple, and easy, and surprisingly, the appointment was scheduled for just a couple of hours later the same day. By 10:43 am, had I received an e-mail confirmation. But it gets better: Within an hour later, I received a call from the owner, who indicated that, if my schedule permitted, he could be available in about 30 minutes. Just as he said, he showed up promptly. The repair required him to completely disassemble the dryer to replace a couple of worn-out parts. The total bill: $153.00. Our dryer was back in operation before 1:00 pm. In the future, whenever we have a problem with an appliance, our go-to guy will be Denton Appliance Repair. read more

We used Denton Appliance Repair for our mother's dishwasher and ice maker and Al could not have been more professional, courteous and on TIME! He called AND texted that he was on his way, which is rare with most companies. He not only fixed the dishwasher, Al was nice enough to look at her broken ice maker, even though that request wasn't mentioned when we made the appt. When we shared with Al that our mother's wedding ring had been misplaced (our dad passed away a few months ago) and we felt strongly it was somewhere in or around the dishwasher, he went out of his way to look for it while he was repairing the dishwasher. Needed to have my 7 year old Samsung refrigerator repaired. The freezer drawer broke on the hinges and I have a clogged filter. The guy that came out to look at the refrigerator needed to order parts and so it would be another week. Well lucky for me when he came out Samsung had sent him the wrong part for the freezer drawer, but during that time my Icemaker went out and a small part on the left door broke. Since he had to re-order the part that Samsung had sent him that was wrong he ordered the other two parts and when they came in he installed everything the same day and I was only charged the one time Service charge that I have to pay with American home shield. We needed our refrigerator's ice-maker replaced. After reading favorable online reviews here and on other sites I called Denton Appliance Repair. I explained exactly what I needed and the repairman told me that he might have the correct ice-maker on his truck. He called back a few minutes later and confirmed that he had it. We made an appoint for the next morning. He showed up a few minutes ahead of the appointment time and completely finished the job in around 30 minutes. Our Samsung refrigerator freezer quit chilling and freezing over night and some water was leaking from underneath. I called this a.m. and he was here an hour later! I called Denton Appliance Repair because my GE refrigerator was not cooling. Al knew the problem immediately on the phone. Came out that very day and used his steamer to defrost the ice around the coils (heating element burned out). Spent 45 minutes doing that because I did not have another refrigerator and he had to order the part. Wife and I own an older Samsung dryer that was marking our clothes with dark brown/black marks (only a few millimeters wide but inch plus in length). The cost of the repair and the service was very fair; Al explained the problem and what needed to be done.
