They make every effort to check on prices of services when I ask, and they can help set up payment plans if needed. Likewise, Dr. Bridenstine makes every effort to be sure dental services are stellar. We have always had a positive experience with his sedation dentistry, and he provides a thorough explanation of options when available. We have only experienced excellence in his work, and we have appreciated how he goes above and beyond to create a positive outcome for his patients. A couple of years ago, I returned to his office two extra times at no charge just so he could alleviate some discomfort I had after a filling needed to be filed a little more delicately. While I was numb, I hadn't noticed. Yet, he made it right a second time even after I wasn't sure about it the first time I returned. Now, that's patience for your patient! All the staff members work diligently to make dental visits pleasant. I have always appreciated their use of soft, professional voices via individual headsets to prioritize communication and timeliness while maintaining privacy. BEWARE OF OVER BILLING…read more On December 4, 2024, schedule an appointment with dentist Vaidehi Trivedi to correct my bite. At the beginning of my appointment, I was directed to take x-trays. I admittedly denied the service and I told her dental assistance several times my insurance would not cover x-trays, and I just needed her to adjust my bite. The office Manager/billing expert stood behind and said in the presence of my husband and dental assistance I would not be charged for x-rays . I then allowed the dental assistant to put those small wing shaped objects in my mouth and a few bite-wing x-rays were taken. My husband and I then proceeded to the dental chair where Vaidehi adjusted my bit. She also recommended a night guard. The office manager/billing expert came in afterwards to discuss the price of the guard. I declined to purchase the 275.00-night guard. On December 6, 2024, I reached out to Aetna - Dental to go over my remaining benefits and I noticed Vaidehi charged me 799.00 that included: 3D Con Bean CT, Panoramic , Bite wings x-rays, and an exam. I was not surprised about the exam but I was appalled that I billed for x-trays that did not take place. I filed a complaint with Aetna - Dental , my dental insurance company. I am now requesting the correction claim be file with my insurance company and my account be credited back for all the x-rays. Mostly because a couple of them did not happen and for the bite-wings x-rays because I was there would be no charge and my husband and the dental assistant was present when I was told this by the billing expert. I am now seeking an corrected invoice for services rendered. On December 9, 2024 at 7:15 am I spoke to Jennifer the billing agent. She just happen to call to cancel my husbands appointment. I addressed my concern of her billing me for x-rays that did not take place. Again she said, we always bill the insurance but we don't expect them to pay and we don't bill you for xrays. I told her so you just bill and try max out my insurance without charging me personally. That is alarming. She said yes bet it is,. I told her she charged me for a panosonic xray and they only pay for those once a year. She corrected and said its every 36 months the insurance will pay out. Again she said she did not see in the system where they paid,. I call Aetna Dental PPO on 3-ways and we once we got Jennifer on the phone she said she was in the process of refunding the funds my insurance paid for xrays due to services not rendered. Summary, this Dental office has over charging your insurance built into their business practices and if their customers are not checking the charges to their insurance, they are taking advantage of unsuspecting customers.

The staff and Dr. Seaman are pleasant. I had a fairly early appointment both times and I never had to wait more than five minutes to be seen. Before you have any major procedure, they sit down with you and explain the cost. They work with your insurance. So the price I was quoted was exactly what I paid. No surprises. Turns out - Young Dr. Crowder is Older Dr. Crowder's son! Storytelling aside, here are the facts: 1. Dr. Crowder's hygienists are great at cleanings. I have never left with bleeding gums, and when they lecture me about flossing, they don't make me feel like a horrible person. 2. Unlike some dentists, I never feel like Crowder uses x-rays excessively. While I understand that they're occasionally necessary, I never like to have many of them in the general vicinity of my head, and he willingly obliges. 3. My last paid-for-by-dental-insurance appointment was shortly before I got laid off, and I told him so - so he went ahead and repaired and reinforced the portion of my front tooth that I broke when I was little. Since it would have inevitably broken within the next year or so, doing the repair early saved me a considerable chunk o' change. 4. Cleanings sans dental insurance are only $100! 5. He uses anesthetic to fill cavities!!!! Is this normal? Maybe it is - but my old dentist never did that, and getting cavities filled was a no-good terrible horrible very bad experience. Not only does Dr. Crowder make sure you're nice and numb, he uses a topical anesthetic before injecting your gums, so it's completely pain-free. 6. Every dental chair comes complete with a flat-screen TV and endless cable channels, so you can watch HDTV or Oprah or whatever to your little hearts' content, all while having your choppers shined, buffed, and polished by Crowder and his staff. In short, Dr. Crowder is a reasonably-priced great dentist, and just an all-around nice guy. Highly recommended!
