We've been enjoying this place a lot lately. Pub food and some things are a hit or miss but the prices are low for the food and drinks. We had the burger last time, it was awesome. What can I say, Casey's is a FAVORITE! I recently hosted a Surprise party and had the amazing help of Dylan and his coworkers to help pull the whole thing off. The loft upstairs offers a private space over looking the restaurant, with a pool table, arcade game and a shuffle board table. The beers were cold and the food was amazing; we just kept ordering more and more! I would highly recommend popping in and trying some of their customer favorite wing flavors. The food was excellent. The buffalo sauce is a little spicy and a little sweet. Blue cheese and ranch are possibly home made and very yummy. Not just your average Ken's packet. I heard him saying words like f*ggot to some of his fellow employees and as a gay man this is very offensive. He was rude and came off as annoyed when I ask questions as it was my first time in. We came here for pizza of all things. Apparently it was to be to be the best pizza around. Though, we found out the person who made these legendary pizzas no longer works here. Thought we'd give it a go anyway and see what happens. We ordered a large Margherita pizza, and while good, my date said it wasn't it. Seems the pizza master took the recipe with him. Don't get me wrong, the pizza was solid, just nothing revolutionary. I liked that it was more of a Neapolitan style with a very thin crust and not overloaded with toppings, even though Margherita pizzas are not by nature loaded with toppings. Other than form factor, the pizza was a bit lackluster. The tomato sauce was a little scarce (relative to size of pizza) and had trouble showing its flavor past the cheese and crust. Toppings similarly failed to show themselves, with the tomatoes and basil just barely coming through. In my opinion a Margherita pizza should be bursting with flavor! Fresh mozzarella, flavorful tomatoes, and basil all coming together into a beautiful fireworks show. This wasn't that, it more resembles a cheese pizza with a little tomato and basil added for flavor. We also had the strawberry shortcake for dessert, and it was excellent. Strawberries and whipped cream were themselves, the shortcake though... wow! Just the tiniest amount of crispness, just enough salt to punch up the flavor, and an excellent consistency. I debated granting the fourth star based on dessert, but I don't see it being enough to make this place worth returning to. After all, strawberry shortcake isn't reason enough to go to a pub. They do, however, have an impressive collection of wings that I would love to try, so that may be reason to return, eventually. All in all, this seems like a local haunt where everyone knows each other, and no so much a foodie destination, unless you are on a quest to find your favorite strawberry shortcake, that is. read more

After hating Casey's for years, we went back after a staff change and John (the owner) has seriously turned this place around. It's a great local spot to meet neighbors and down a few drinks. We've happily called it our home bar for the better part of 2022 and all of 2023. There's always a great bartender there and great music playing. Their beer selection is decent and they have a few options for most harder drinks. There are pool tables upstairs but I've never gone up to play. If you happen to stop in before a long weekend or holiday, be prepared for the bar to be a few people deep (see Thanksgiving Eve pictured), otherwise it's usually manageable. The food is fine. They have a lot of wing options, but I'm partial to their burgers. Really wish they had some snacks behind the bar once the kitchen closes. read more

Have to accept it for what it is and tamper expectations. It's a sports pub and the only one of its kind within Holliston and a few surrounding towns that has cheap beer and is open late during the week. That being said they have a pretty big menu for a small place. The wings are as incredible as they claim and they have a wide/unique variety of dipping sauces. The apps (Buffalo tater tots and jumbo mozz sticks) are great too! It's pretty centrally located to my group of friends so will definitely be going more regularly for 50 cent wing Tuesday's! read more

Tasty wings, with unique, homemade sauces. I love the Buffalo Habanero. Heat without being obnoxious. Smallest portion size is six, which is great for a snack. The next size up is 12, followed by 18. They let us split sauces for the 18. They also offer poutine with curds, which is the traditional way. They have a small, L shaped bar, but several tables. I've never had to wait. My son liked their pizza but I have yet to try it. Service was average, especially when it was busy. I'd suggest calling to verify their hours. Last time I went they were closed, despite Yelp and TripAdvisor saying they opened at 1130 on weekdays, they were not open at 1150. read more

If you are not a regular, don't bother to go. I was there with my friend and I was told that we could not seat at the bar was the seats were "reserved". Two guys came in like 15 minutes later and just sat there. Drinks were served to them before us. We order a small amount of wings, waited an hour, no wings were told that they had lots take out orders. Wings came out were soggy and the batter was coming out. Fries were soggy. Just had a horrible experience here yesterday that thoroughly frustrated me. I called around 2:00PM to confirm what time the kitchen closed. I was told 8:45PM. I arrived around 8:20PM that evening and was told the kitchen was closed because it was too slow. I'm not here to tell Casey's how to run their business. I'm asking for clarity. Please clearly define when your kitchen closes. If you want to say it closes 8:45 PM but it closes at an earlier time if business is slow, that's fine. Please say what that time is so I may plan accordingly. Please set any rules you like and then please stick to them. read more

"Worlds best wings" were quite disappointing. We got the honey Cajun (good flavor) and sweet & spicy (werent spicy and the sauce was very watery). The wings were cooked fine, the Boneless was juicy but the batter was falling off and not crispy. I came in to get a burger to go. Took a hot second to be acknowledged, but I was at the corner of the bar, so I suppose that was my own darned fault. I got the black and bleu cheeseburger with cajun sauce and went on my way. They gave me fries--which I had declined... But they were decent. The burger, however...was so offensive with that 'cajun sauce' that I suffered through half of it before wrapping the rest up and calling it a day. Service is okay. Friendly enough. Watching the staff bicker was amusing. Even though the burger sucked and took a while, they were on point for service at a busy point in their day. The food here is okay.. I've eaten wings here for years. But, tonight I decided to take the family inside...BIG mistake. After what I witnessed tonight, I will never eat or purchase anything from here again. The owner was hanging around all night. His family was here and they were passing around a newborn baby like it was a hot potato. Not to mention all the smoke breaks they took outside with the servers....who did NOT come back inside and wash their hands. They continued to wait on people and touch "clean" tables and chairs. They would walk inside and lightly spritz hand sanitizer. I was in the food industry for 12 years, I was a manager at several restaurants as well as a bartender and server. I have never seen the lack of sanitation like I did tonight at Casey's. The music was too loud. The service was okay, she was a nice lady. We ordered chips and cheese and fried pickles. At the end of the meal, I asked about the pickles and was told "the kitchen forgot them." Come on, just own up to it and admit that you made a mistake. It happens. But, do not lie and blame it on the kitchen. The owner and the rest of the staff all need Serve safe training again and again. It's the responsibility of the owner and the managers to make sure people are taken care of and that their health and safety are at the forefront of their minds. You have families eating here, this is definitely an experience that the Board of health is going to hear about. I am at a loss for words after what we saw and experienced tonight. We had a season ending group get together here at Casey's. A small, non descriptive looking building in HOLLISTON. We were given the "game room" located above the main bar area. The game room had a nice pool table and skeet ball table. Plenty of comfortable bar seats facing a large screen TV with the game on. They had a pretty good list of local beers. We had several different pizzas, the Buffalo chicken being my favorite, and two sets of wings. One the traditional and one Battered. Traditional were much tastier. So sorry to give this place one star but what a lousy experience. Always wanted to stop in here for the longest time. Went for lunch on Sunday, only a dozen guys at the bar and one other family. Waitress was fantastic, placed our order and waited and waited, 40 mins later she came out and said they are working on our order but had no onion rings, 10 mins later we got our food, wait was totally unacceptable. After a 50 minute wait the food was served but not before other patrons which had arrived after us..... The burger was undercooked and had to be returned to the kitchen. We popped in after a soccer game in Holliston given our 12 yo son is constantly ravenous these days. We got the jumbo mozzarella sticks, the pretzel and 18 wings in two flavors; Buffalo and Jamaican Jerk. The wings were amazing. Lots of flavor and not overly saucy and messy. Came on Sunday- the place was fairly busy. The bartender was working alone with no waitresses and boy did she hustle and remained pleasant during the entire service. We entered the restaurant and the Bruins game was on- there were a lot of locals- the decor is so cool- it was like we entered Cheers! But our positive experience ended there- We were a table of four and we never got approached by the server. Two tables sat after us and were approached by the server for the area. They ordered and were served before we finally waived down the bartender (I had talked to the server twice asking for menus and service- he just never approached us). She took our drink orders and said they had a cook call out today, got a lunch slam and could only serve pizza & wings All totally understandle BUT 3 tables that sat after this statement ordered and was served sandwiches. Did I add - they ordered, were served, paid and left before we got any of our food order? And trust me, if I was driving, I would have left. Finally crushed by time- we were between soccer games - I approached the waiter who otherwise ignored us and explained the situation- food came out (bartender who was sooo busy brought it to us while the server who was assigned to our table still ignored us!) the food was just okay- nothing was epic- they took a pizza off our bill for the inconvenience of our experience and my husband tipped well but it was the WORST dining experience I ever had. While we were leaving a local news channel showed up and asked us if we wanted to move to the other side of the bar to be filmed about a local segment they will run on the Mudville team. Maybe we should have sat there in the first place? Hubby quickly shuffled me out before I could tell the news guy what a horrible experience I had. I do note- other tables Came and went. I didn't approach the server until after 20 minutes of not being approached and only after a table that just sat got menus and orders before us. It is what it is. I would leave a bad review if I didn't know the place so well. Go there often, make friends, have fun. Locals are nice. Wait staff is friendly and very entertaining. They have always given us good service and tried their best! Sometimes skeleton staff can cause a wait. Not a dealbreaker for me. Drinks are real drinks and the prices are not crazy. Pizza and wings are good so order the pizza and wings! Take my advice. Not sure they are "the best wings on earth" but they are pretty darned good. Boneless are awesome! Update 12/22/18: Recent updates to the kitchen are noticeable! Pizza got even better. Not sure how that was possible? Love ALL the bartenders.
