We were directed to check this place out by a local, and I'm glad we did! It's like a Dairy Queen, but without the indoor seating. Burgers, hotdogs and the like, and ice cream are on the menu; and your ice cream options are actually fairly extensive! Hubs got a burger and a chocolate milkshake, and I got the Caramel Fudge Nut Brownie Sundae. He said the burger was good (I didn't try it). I did manage a sip of his milkshake and it was really good. My sundae was even more delicious! It was almost too much, but I knew what I was getting myself into. The top portion had small chunks of brownie mixed into it, but the bottom portion was one big chunk of brownie! I am NOT complaining, but it did take me a while to eat it, and I did have to rest several times. :D I'm glad we stopped in, and I would absolutely do so again! 37/2022

If this is a medium, how big is a large?

Great little ice cream shop on the old route to Door County. Ice cream cones and sundaes are ginormous so make sure you go hungry. I've never ordered any food, but it always smells good and lots of others do. Make sure you bring cash, I don't think they accept cards.

What a "off the beaten" path gem! Stopped here for a treat while heading home from Door County. Ice cream, sodas, shakes, and assorted grill items. Everyone was so friendly and they were piping out 50's tunes. Very reasonable prices! Seating is first come, and they only accept cash!

Good food at a decent price. Nothing groundbreaking, but it's a good place to enjoy summer. I got the cheese curds and a sundae, both of which were tasty.

I close friend of mine took me here today. Only the second time I have been here. It's like the old days when u walked up to a joint and ordered your food outside. So with this being COVID and no one working and the start of summer: the place had a lot of people there at 3 pm in the afternoon on a Thrs. I have gotten the ice cream which is very good. This place in the summer plays music outside: Elvis, Beach Boys, stuff like that. Today my buddy wanted me to try their chili dog with onion and cheese. Very good old fashion hotdog under that chili . He picked the sides. Cheese curds and Onion rings. The cheese curds and onion were not all that impressive. Very greasy. I seriously should have just went for the ice cream. This place is worth a visit. If you are hungry you will find some food items to be expensive. But if you are stopping for a simple cone or a sundae it is well worth the price. They do have picnic tables off to the sides of the building. About four on each side. I was there just hanging out with my buddy. We weren't in a rush. People were stopping at this place every few minutes. So it is a popular place. I attached some photos. Do yourself a favor, skip the food and hit that ice cream! Make sure u check them out. It's like a step back in time when Yelp-Steve-O worked at a place just like this in a little town when he was 14. Man.... I am getting old. Imagine back then: no cell phones or internet. Somehow we survived. Enjoy the photos! Until the next Yep, Yelp-Steve-O, out!

Old fashion drive up ice cream stand. Ive been going here for over 30 years - I love that it hasn't changed. Prices are reasonable, selection is great, ambiance is what brings it to a 4 in my books! I recommend the crunch coat!

Great service! Awesome ice cream! Oldies music playing. Cash only. Our raspberry cheesecake had plenty of raspberry favoring. The other is the carmal nut brownie flurry, lots of favor.

This is the cutest little place just out of town (for people who live in Green Bay). Super good food and beyond excellent ice cream!

17 minutes and 8 seconds from order to food on table…read more Wife had the single cheeseburger with a side of stuffed spuds, and I had a double cheeseburger with grilled onions and onion petals. Burgers were a bit greasy, but that is the point. They were delicious. Onions grilled perfectly. Petals were crispy as any generic onion petals would be. Stuffed spuds? Not stuffed hardly. Those were a disappointment. Overall, nice environment, good bar food, and not too busy. Would come again if in the area.

Hungry and on your way to Door County?…read more Just North of Green Bay and unless you're (backroad smart) you are of course traveling NORTH on either Highway 57, 42 or County Trunk S to the Door Peninsula so why not treat yourself to some great local food and warm friendly people? Look no further than Joe Rouer's or just "Joe's Bar" in Duvall, Wisconsin. It's on your way to Door County and a visit to this local institution is simple and easy from any of the routes North. On Highway 57, pick up County Road "X" and you will be traveling East not more than a mile or so to Duvall. You will be greeted promptly with a smile as you enter and if you're lucky, the charming "Melanie" or "Heather" will serve you in two shakes of a lambs tail! I recommend the Cheeseburger, Dill Pickles, and White Cheddar Cheese curds although all of their offerings are delicious creations developed over time and of particular note is their Chili. It's tasty and amazing! On draft is a curated variety of beer and there's nothing like a cold Blue Moon draft with a generous slice of fresh orange. Top this off with any of their desert creations and you will be full - but not too full! Lastly, depending on where you're from you will be pleasantly surprised that they don't gouge you when it's time to settle up. I have always found it reasonable and inexpensive for a good quality lunch or dinner. I have been coming here since 1976 and think it's a great place to break up your Door County journey with some good food and localized vibe. Thanks Joe's... see you again soon! ***It's NOT illegal to drink and drive BUT please drink responsibly!

After our visit to our lady of good help shrine we were very hungry so we looked at Groupon & Yelp…read moreto see what we could find. Our Lady of Good Help Shrine is located in the middle of nowhere, in a field far from anything. We found a Groupon for 4 people - $40 for $22 at a place called Rendezvous. After mapping the location we proceeded to drive from Our Lady of Good Help Shrine to a location in the middle of nowhere 9.2 miles away on a country road intersection. The Rendezvous is a combination restaurant/bar/bowling alley down by 2 county roads. When we walked in we had to go down about 4 or 5 steps into a very dated establishment. There were a number of people sitting at the bar having drinks and watching college games on tv. The bowling alley was empty when we got there. We asked the bartender if we could grab a seat and she said sit anywhere. The dining room looked like the basement of a old 60's condo that I use to live in. There were folding tables and chairs set up so the 4 of us grabbed a table. The waiter came with 4 menus and gave us a brief rundown on some of the items. He was a young guy that was very pleasant & was willing to put up with questions from the Illinois city folk. Overall the service was good, a little slow, but good They have a variety of items for dinners and were reasonably priced. I orders the family style broasted chicken (as much as you want) which was very good that came with way too many sides. The sides included mashed potatoes (ehh made from a powered mix), coleslaw (which was very good, seasoned well with fresh ingredients), stuffing (ehh not worth mentioning), gravy (kind of a grey color and way too much cornstarch), corn (not too bad) & sauerkraut (ehh I could have done with out it) & desert (cherry cheesecake, brownies, pumpkin cake& homemade kit Kat cake). Did I mention I tried all of them? The broasted chicken was delicious and by far the best item in the family style meal for $8.95 all inclusive. My wife's friend ordered the 4 piece broasted chicken dinner. Her husband and my wife ordered the short ribs which were pretty blahhhh It was an ok meal (broasted chicken was pretty good I would give this a solid 4+ stars) for a reasonable price, huge quantities and good service. The short ribs were probably not even a 2 star. I doubt if I will ever be out there again in the middle of Packer country, but hey if you don't try it you never know what you are missing.

Yes it is a bar but more of a supper club. Smaller bar area. It that didn't bother us. We went in a Friday, early, and were seated right away. Very helpful staff. Limited menu, but still something for everyone. I had the ribeye steak and it was PERFECTION on my plate!! Size was perfect. Taste was out of this world - I literally licked my plate after!!! Hubby had the perch - amazing. Our boys had the burgers and cheese curds - couldn't say enough. And the buns! I don't eat breads BUT between the other 3, I think they ate close to 12!! Hit out of the oven. Highly HIGHLY recommend

Billy's on Main hits the nail on the head in all four of these categories. As for the drinks, the old fashioneds here are top notch, so are the amaretto sours, and their ice cream drinks are to die for. I didn't get a chance for any other drink, but I'll be coming back. The service was by far the best part of the experience. The bartenders were super friendly and extremely nice. Super welcoming and personable, it was a lot of fun chatting with them at the bar. Once seated, I couldn't believe the prices! Ribeye for $31?? Tenderloin in the $20's?! What a treat. And as for the vibe, this was classic supper club. Drinks at the bar while you wait for your table. Supper club drinks as the specials. Just the charm you'd expect from a supper club. I'll be honest, I was a bit skeptical of coming here because they didn't have a website, and only like 3 reviews over the past 2 years, so I felt like I needed to write one. If you're looking for a good and solid supper club, this is your jam.

Sadly disappointed. My family owned this place for nearly 20 years. We made it what it was, right…read moredown to my mother's cheese curds recipe. I had been talking up the food to a friend for months! We were finally able to make the trip out today. We were so stoked!!! Unfortunately, when we got there we sat at a table and were ignored for 15 minutes. The lady at the next table said, "you had better go up to the bar to order". Finally the waitress, Who so obviously hates her job, said she could take our drinks order. We waited a while, she finally brought our drinks a long while later. We said we are ready to order. In a very short, annoyed and clipped tone , she shit back that she didn't have her writing pad. She left. We waited another inordinate long amount of time for her to come back to tak our order. In the meantime, 3-4 parties of people came in, were served, and had their food in front of them before our food order was even taken. Cut to the food: the burgers I had talked up for so long came out charred black and nearly inedible. I feel if we had sent them back, that grouchy lady may have huffed and spit on them. After all the work my family put into this place, trying to foster a friendly family atmosphere, and bragging it up to my friends...I had to APOLOGIZE to my friend for THEIR shitty service. I am deeply, deeply saddened and disappointed today. The employees clearly just despise their jobs. And when we got our food, this lady plops them on the table and walks away. No, "Enjoy your meal", "can I get you anything else," "can I refill your drinks". I was so grossed out at the bullied reputation we worked so hard for nearly 2 decades to build. Never thought I would EVER have to give this place a 1 star review. Yet here we are. Very sad today. Wonder what mom and dad will say when I stop.over ther after this.... sad.
