My…read moremint condition Ford Mustang Convertible stalled out on me as I was attempting to cross a dangerous intersection, however, I managed to make it to a shoulder, had to call Triple A, good Samaritans stopped and in a nutshell, the guess was the battery was bad. Car had to be towed to mechanic, mechanic did diagnostic test and said it was bad battery. I called the local Bear, Delaware to explain and they told me that even with my receipt and warranty being good, I would need to go back to the mechanic's shop, pick up the battery, bring it to them, they would have to "test" it and make sure it was "bad" and not the alternator, etc., and determine if it it was "returnable" for a new battery. Who in the hell has time for this nonsense and poor customer service? Do not every buy a battery from Advance Auto Parts! I was told that "unfortunately, the burden is on the customer"! They will never see me again as a customer. This was my first time buying a drive thru battery from a low life retailer who thinks it should be the customer's job to prove a product they sell is bad. Advance Auto Parts should be ashamed of themselves as a company and their undercut and screw the customer policy/warranty!

A-Z allowed us to leave the car on their lot until arrangements could be made to move it - which ended up being 3 days. They helped us locate and reserve a rental car so we could get back home. They even drove us to pick up the rental. Everyone was super friendly and sensitive to our situation, which was very much appreciated being 3 states away from home with a broken car.
