This is two months 28 units for over $300 from a clinic in Sacramento with raving reviews. I usually go to the Bay Area where their lease for office practice is sky high, it is a physician who has gone to Medical School doing these injections. Also in an affluent side of town with clientele that are not easy to please. They still only charge $10 per unit... in Los Gatos, Menlo Park, Atherton areas. In Sacramento the lease is far less, in a non affluent side of town, this lady is not medical Clinicians at all, not RN's, NP, Or Physicians but they have the audacity to charge more per unit. This is my 2 month photo from day 3 to week 8. ‍‍‍ Classic example of Over Charging & Under delivering‍‍‍ I'm going back to drive all the way back to the bay for these services. I love the ladies of Derma! Tara and Angie are so professional and kind. They aren't at all pretentious - I'm comfortable letting Angie see (and take care of) the areas that I'm self-conscious about. I have been going to Angie for more than 10 years for laser hair removal and then Botox! I followed her to Derma and I travel from SoCal because I don't trust anyone else. I have polycystic ovaries (PCOS) and chronic migraine - Derma has helped me deal with both. Because of the polycystic ovaries I have always had excess hair growth (dark and thick) and hair in places I don't want it as a woman. Angie has lasered pretty much my whole body - now I'm frequently complimented on the smoothness of my legs - and I'm comfortable showing them off! The hormonal changes from my PCOS means I'll occasionally have a sudden growth of new hair on my chin - when it happens I start planning a trip to Derma because Angie will make it go away! As for the migraines, I get Botox from my neurologist in my scalp, neck, and some in my forehand. The problem is - sometimes, depending on which neurologist or P.A. does the injections- they mess up my face (some don't seem to care too much about it!). Also - none of them have ever told me about the "aftercare" of Botox (i.e. don't get a massage/facial for 2 weeks!). So sometimes they've given me a heavy brow or made my brows asymmetrical. That's where Angie comes in! She's able to figure out where to do some touch up to fix my face! I know people who stopped getting the migraine injections, even though they work, because they couldn't take how much it messed with their faces. Thankfully I've got Angie to fix me! read more

For those of you that are skeptical, please believe me - this place is amazing. I'm thinking the "not so good" reviews are from people that don't understand how fillers, etc work. I will only trust Angie to work on my face. I have been with Angie and Tara now for over 10 years. Only once did I stray and trust me I will NEVER do that again. Derma's prices are great; I trust everything Angie tells me. I finally got the courage to do my lips yesterday and although they are swollen today I have no doubt that they are going to look spectacular in a few days. Angie was so great yesterday, and noticed a side was bruising. She spent a long time putting ice on it and doing all that she could to reduce the swelling/bruising. After the swelling goes down I may go back for a little touch up. Angie has been doing my botox for years and I swear she does it in away that is virtually painless - as I said before, I wouldn't trust anyone else. She has also performed her magic with the laser as well as other fillers. Angie is always fun to talk to and she offers all kinds of advice on ways to make you shine - both in house and on your own. A couple of years ago I wanted to buy my daughter laser hair removal for her stomach. Well, I didn't really "want" her doing laser but she was determined to get it done and knowing if I bought it I could pick facilities....I jumped at the chance for control (don't judge! lol). So, I did my research and over and over found Angela's name pop up on Yelp. The reviews coupled with the fact that she is also a registered nurse prompted me to forget the coupon offers from the various sales gimmicks and go straight to Angela. My daughters heath is more important to me than those promotional deals...and, that said, Angela's prices were still competitive with the coupons. I accompanied my daughter to all her sessions and both of us were very happy with Angela's professionalism and honesty. My daughters hair is very dark and Angela actually suggested we check with her doctor to have her hormones tested since if the hormones are off then laser most likely won't work permanently. Tests results showed no issues but it was very good advice in case there was an underlying issue. Angela was also very upfront with us about the possibility of lower positive results with darker thicker hair. Angela has been in a couple of different locations since we bought the first package and we have followed her to her current home at Derma med Spa. She is always sweet, personable, and smiling. As for laser itself I can report that while the treatment didn't take away all the hair, it did mellow it out. read more

If you want to be practiced on and over charged by someone who doesn't know what they are doing with filler at all go for it. Jeuvaderm is the only filler used even if it's not the best for you that is was what you are getting since it is an allergan product. If that is all a place does fine but don't be using a thick filler on young people in the wrong areas causing lumps. People who want to look better should not pay through the nose to be made to look far worse. All these 5 star reviews must be fake. read more

Derma Med Spa has fair prices and excellent customer service. The laser is almost painless. It's always fun to chat with Angie (I am introverted and she's a shockingly great conversation starter), and Tara is on point with reminders, scheduling, and answering questions. These girls know how to run a business, or they sure have me fooled! They are so efficient and nice, and produce results. I'm on session 4 or 5, and at least half of my hair is gone. Derma Med Spa is the best place to go for botox, injections etc. I've been around the Sacramento block looking for the fountain of youth and for almost a decade I've found it with Angie at Derma Med Spa. If your looking for a plastic look, this is not the place. But if your looking for a natural enhancement, a few years knocked off the books, this is your place! I've been to the Sacramento Surgery Center, they are good at some things, but I honestly liked my experience with Derma Med Spa better. I love the new location because it's easy to get to and very beautiful and clean inside. A huge gray sectional lets you kick back in the front room and the modern rustic decor is so refreshing from the medical environment of surgery centers. I don't feel rushed when I'm there, Angie takes her time with me and addresses all of my concerns. I still look like myself but just more awake and refreshed. Don't get me wrong, Angie and I definitely proclaim war on those crows feet and middle brow wrinkles, but it's all a balance. I can still move my face and have expressions. People don't look at me and think to themselves, " she get's stuff done". At some plastic surgery centers you will meet with RNs that are shiny and plastic, this is not the case at Derma Med Spa. You will be greeted by real women that you feel you can relate to and that services and results are within your reach and expectations. read more
