I have been going to Zen ReGen for over a year and a half. I was seeing the esthetician that entire time. The esthetician was abruptly gone a few days before my appointment. The manager whose name is Rob called me and was very nice. He had to move my appointment to a different esthetician and a different day. I was very nervous to go to someone else. I walked in and it was Lily! I knew her from coming in but had no idea she was an esthetician. My nerves calmed down right away. This was the absolute best facial I have ever had in my life!! She was so thorough, caring, gentle and I was so relaxed and trusted her right away. My skin looks great the next day and I will definitely continue going. Please make sure you ask to see what's left in the syringe and snap a pic before you leave! I've paid for two rounds of filler. I have little fullness and it still does not extend to the corners of my mouth (at least a quarter inch short. You can also see that the bow is jagged and off center). I was so overwhelmed that I raised my voice on the phone to get someone's attention. When I came in and expressed my concerns, I was given the stiff arm until the manager accidentally said that there was filler left in my syringe. I asked to see it, and it was not shown to me. I wonder how much was left in the first syringe. It's reasonable to wonder what happens with all of the customers' leftovers that we don't know about. They finally offered to have another injector correct the mistakes in two weeks. Crossing my fingers. read more

I had a procedure done about a year and a half ago that included a CO2 along with a scar removing procedure. I have paid roughly $3,500 thousand dollars for this procedure and never got any after care instructions or even a phone call throughout my recovery. This is the most abrasive procedures you could do for your skin so you would expect some instructions on how to heal through this process. I have mentioned this to Dr. Chambers because she is the one who completed my procedure and she understood my frustration and promise another procedure to fix up the scars that I do not have previously but now have from the first procedure. Now there's a new management and they are refusing to honor any procedure. I now have scars all over my face and having to pay another $3000 to fix the mess up she caused. they are very unprofessional and do not stick to their promises. Not only that will mess up your face. I was recommended the Fontana laser - this darkened pigmented spots on my face - leaving me with enlarged pigmented spots that were brought to the surface of my skin and now appear much more prominent. Furthermore I was sent home with absolutely no post care instructions- none explained to me verbally in office and furthermore, no written post or pre-care instructions were ever given to me. I had MENDs across my face for a week , despite being told I would be fine to resume normal activities the next day with minimal downtime. The PA described the Fontana as minimally invasive, however I left the office with pinpoint bleeding across my entire face, extreme itching, and discomfort. I love this place!!!! From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by friendly staff, offered water while waiting for your service. The ambience is so calming and beautiful. They have an array of services. My favorite is the Embrella! It strengthens your pelvic floor in a completely non- invasive way. You basically sit on a chair while it contract your pelvic floor muscles with electrodes. You don't even have to remove your clothing. I noticed an improvement after my first visit. Overdue on my review. The people who work here are incredibly good at what they do. I developed a bump on my forehead (photos attached). After months of trying to remove it, it wouldn't budge. I went to zen Dermatology and they immediately assessed it and came up with a plan to remove it. They injected it with a type of steroid. They also recommended creams to help with the color and another to help with my acne in general. After a month I went in for a check in. It had improved significantly but Dr. Chambers knew she could remove it completely. So we did a second injection. I also should say, as someone who is very nervous around needles, I was really impressed with how gentle and carefully she worked. I went in for a third check and we liked the results so I was good to go. Each time I went, it was always very quick and painless. The offices are also very nice. I am a big fan and I will continue to use Zen Dermatology. read more

The staff are extremely attentive to every single detail and I didn't have to compete with other clients during my visits. I can't say enough about Zen and their amazing staff. I originally went in for filler for my dark circles under eye but during the consultation it was explained that with my shape it could make my face look more round and is not the best option. I also have lots or redness and some sun spots so they suggested the IPL treatment. A series of lasers to remove redness and dark spots as well as fine lines. I have had 3 treatments and my skin has never looked better. I no longer have to wear liquid foundation and my skin looks 10 years younger! Plus the IPL (impulse light laser) has a much longer life than filler so it's better all around! I love that they made suggestions as to what they thought my skin needed since they are the professionals. Megan and her team were so helpful in explaining the process and the schedule. Let's be honest when you go to a place that is going to be taking care of your skin it matters how the space looks, how the staff acts and how they treat you. The recent experience with Zen Dermatology is so impressive! My sister is a customer with both Zen and another skin center on the same street. My family planned a celebration for my sister's milestone birthday on Thanksgiving Day. The other laser center advertised their gift cards on sale the week after Thanksgiving. I called that skin center to see if they would let me buy a birthday gift card a few days earlier than their sale started. The person answered the phone declined right away. I then called Zen Dermatology. McKenna answered the phone. Upon hearing the special occasion, she worked with her manager Pedra to come up with a solution that worked for me. It made my day and it made me feel they listened to their customer. This month (Dec), I called Zen to purchase their sale items for myself this time. Idk... the girl on the phone seemed very polite. However the entire conversation was mainly about money. $125 consultation fee, (which I was initially told would be $50) to be charged ahead of the appointment and before they even gave me an idea as to when or where the appointment would be or what services they offered. $50 reschedule fee, $50 no show fee. I come here to see reviews about them last minute cancelling appointments on people. I bet they didn't pay a cancellation fee when it was their fault. Idk. But I find places like this just to have a jaded mentality and obviously they are dealing with enough cancellations to justify an over the phone fee. I understand cash business but no other service based spa or cosmetic place charges you up front. It just feels shady and ghetto to me. Sorry. I'll take my business somewhere more trustworthy. I don't like feeling wrangled or hustled into these sorts of situations, especially for such high cost services. It's a beautiful location and the workers are very friendly, however getting there in the afternoon? Forget it, can be a nightmare. It's located right in the heart of Downtown/East Sacramento. I went for a consultation and I felt that the Dr. was very upfront about treatments that are needed, which I appreciated. However, there are a few things that I still don't quite understand. I don't understand how they don't offer payment plans of any kind? I mean, I knew that the treatments would be costly, but I guess people just walk in and can drop thousands of dollars? In this day and age? Also, I felt that they were a little pushy with both the membership and other treatments that I do not need, such as Botox. I do not need Botox; that is not why I was seeking treatment. I ended up signing up for one of their memberships but cancelled it because I decided to look elsewhere for treatment. I was also informed that the membership has a 3 month obligation; I looked and that information is nowhere on the paperwork or the flyer I was given. From the looks of it, I'm sure they do great work for their patients but for me I just decided to respectfully pass. read more

I just recently visited Zen Dermatology for PRP injection for my hair and under my eyes. First of all I want to say this place is top notch. Everything from the outside, to how it's beautiful design on the inside, the comfortable chairs and the lovely ladies that are so beautiful and nice. As a straight man it can be hard to make a decision to get treatments like this, but it was so easy! It was simple as making the initial call, they set up a consultation which was super easy. After my consultation I scheduled my in person appointment. I met with Angela who took care of my PRP injections. I was very nervous about the potential pain and bruising, but she put my worries at ease. The visit lasted about an hour from start to finish, but Angela's great personality and steady hands made it seem so much shorter. I was so pleased with my results and the very limited bruising. This place is absolutely beautiful.. However, staff picks and chooses who they want to be polite to. I've been coming here for 6 months for laser hair removal and Every-time I come I feel uncomfortable. I don't want to make it about race because it's not but if you have staff telling all others about events that you over hear and when you get done they tell you nothing don't even walk you to check in, that's something to feel uncomfortable about. I have drove 45 minutes to two appointments that they canceled 5 minutes before my arrival and on top of that I have yet to see any changes in my hair removal. I also left a google review under Tiffany Diamond on Google and I was actually very happy there, that was 4 months ago however, after that appointment everything went downhill. After I stated treatment wasn't working I was treated differently not by my doctor but by staff. Today I had a 12:00 appointment they called me back and left me in a room for an hour. i listened and peeked as they brought patient after patient back and finally I said "hey did you forget about me" obviously they did so she grabbed me and took me to a room but all the numbing product was gone, I was no longer numb. One of the assistants said yoI will be fine I will use the cold air while she does procedure, tell me why my doctor never showed because she's not here on Mondays and it was suppose to be notated to only see Dr. Chambers so not only did I not receive treatment the doctor that came in said " If you want Dr. Chambers They Can Schedule you and pointed towards the door. read more
