I have been dealing with an unwanted hair problem for too long. I tried LHR, waxing, threading....you name it. Unfortunately none worked for me and I was still stuck with the hair. Luckily I checked out the American Electrology Association website and I found several electrologists near my home. I called all of them and I liked SSE the best. I was impressed that Lisa is a Board Certified CPE which means that she takes continuing education courses to maintain the certification. She also has the Apilus epilator, great magnification and lighting. The treatment prices are very reasonable and are definitely in the moderate range. Exactly Lisa, I did have a previous Electrologist for a year which would've made your job easier, yet I saw no results, and I did go to you for almost a year and got nothing, absolutely NOTHING, just wasted my money on your services! Electrolysis is bs, it's a super old and outdated procedure you need to invest at least $2,000-3,500 at least to get some results, and a ton of time! Don't waste your money or nerves on places like this, most of these will try to extend your procedures to as long as possible to get more money out of you, they'll pluck like 30-50 hairs per session! Which grow back in a week or two. At first they try make you believe, you're "getting results". And Lisa you did promise I'd see results within the first 3-4 months! read more

I am so incredibly happy that I found Lisa! I have been dealing with unsightly, unwanted hairs for as long as I can remember. It had gotten to the point where I felt trapped by my daily routine, which caused a ton of unneeded stress in my life. I have been going to Lisa for the last seven months for electrolysis on my lip and chin. Having been to a number of other places in NorCal, I can tell you that she is hands-down the best option in the area. I am a redhead and had several thick coarse hairs grow on my face and all through my 20s they got worse from shaving. Before i knew it i was in a perpetual state of constant waxing and tweezing. YUCK! I hated feeling self-conscious and having to be so high-maintenance with it on a regular basis and how infected hair follicles destroyed my skin. I had laser one time but of course it came back. This is when i decided to finally do the deed and undergo permanent facial hair removal for the very first time. I started getting electrolysis last summer from Lisa about July 2010. Today I have experienced significant improvement in my skin and amount of hairs on my face. So you want to remove some hair? Well, look no further! Electrolysis is the only proven method of hair removal! But there are a lot of quacks out there, so you need to make sure who you go to is reputatable and has PROVEN results. Lisa at Simply Smooth is fantastic! I have been a client for close to two years. I can tell you the hairs she has removed have not returned! My skin feels very smooth. Lisa offers two different electrolysis modalities. They are Blend and Microflash. I use Microflash. It removes hair much faster. It is one of the lastest technologies in electrolysis, and Lisa is the only one in the area to offer it. Lisa facilitates a nice calming environment, and it is very clean! She is very professional and is flexible in scheduling. And for those of you who are transgender, she is transgender friendly. I must note that electrolysis is not completely painless, there is a slight discomfort(you are removing hairs permanently for god's sake), and for those of who are very sensitive, make sure you get a topical numbing cream, you can get those on Amazon or by prescription from your doctor. I use a numbing cream, since my hairs are very deep. We use a higher setting, cuz I want those hair gone! I also drink TONS of water. It seriously helps removing the hairs at a faster rate. This allows Lisa to cover more area. I do experience reddness and bumps, but they subside after a couple days. Everyone's skin reacts differently. My skin flushes easily and yours might not redden at all. I don't use fragranced lotions, since they tend to irritate the skin. Also, do not pick your skin! If you pick your skin, you will damage it (sorry, I went to Asethics school)! Lisa is fabulous and well skilled. She has cleared many areas on the body, even full heavy beards!
