I had to schedule out almost four weeks. I wasn't seen by a doctor, only a nurse practitioner. And I was rushed out so fast. Every time I brought up a question or concern she had a quick answer and seemed like she was ready for me to leave. After all that I still get a bill in the mail after I paid a copay. Dr. Sachs is excellent. However, do not expect your appointment at the Perrysburg office to be on time. This office overbooks the providers and could not care less about their patients. Wait times are frequent, so make sure you have several free hours after your scheduled appointment, even if your appointment is early in the morning. I searched online for spider vein treatment, sclerotherapy. Booked an appointment and waited nearly two months. Went in today and was told they no linger do sclerotherapy. Still had to pay 50 bucks for the consult. Waste of time. They were very nice and the place was very professional and welcoming. I'm still out fifty bucks. Won't be going back. What a terrible experience with this group, we will never go back. The care was subpar at best and when I tried to pay the billing manager wouldn't accept my payment and said they would be sending me to collections rather than letting me pay on time. My best recommendation is to stay as far away from this group as possible! read more

The office staff is always very welcoming and scheduling does a great job at getting us in for appointments in a timely manner. I saw a PA for an initial appointment and full body scan. This PA went so fast that I had to ask if she checked certain areas of concern. It took a month to get in for an appointment and I had a few questions I wanted to ask. She was so emotionally distant and clearly ready to leave the room that I hurriedly blurted out my questions within the 5 minute appointment. Some of my questions were half-heartedly answered, which I suppose was the best part about the experience. Before I knew it, she was halfway out the door and I barely could ask her about how the check-out procedure worked (since I was a new patient). Overall, if you are looking to receive a few generic answers while feeling unimportant and are excited to receive a $115 bill for a 5 minute appointment, this is the place for you. I've read good reviews about the more senior staff members here, so if you really do need to see a dermatologist at this clinic, I would recommend waiting the extra month or two to see someone who might actually be a compassionate and mindful professional. read more

Unfortunately, there is a scarcity of dermatologists in the Toledo area. I was scheduled to see a physician's assistant at this particular clinic after a referral from another medical center. It was hands down one of the worst medical experiences I've ever had. It was glaringly obvious that this woman was not very knowledgeable...and to make matters worst, she was condescending. You can't hide behind a big smile and an overly enthusiastic voice...patients know when you're not listening, and they can tell when you don't care about their concerns. In summary, it was a wasted appointment...5 minutes I wish I had spent doing something more worthwhile. read more

My mother went in for an appointment that is a version of a MOHS procedure with the staff PA. She was short, rude, distant and disengaged. She would barely look at or even respond to my mother. She skirted around questions and didn't give actual answers. She was so worried about leaving the room I can't be sure all the cancer was removed. CANCER!!!! I asked my mom to get the spot check because I didn't like the way it looked or felt. When she removed the spot she acted like it was a bother, said it wasn't cancer and was reluctant to even send it to the lab. Well, thank goodness my mother pushed her because it was cancerous. This is my mom's second spot removal and she has concerns. We asked about increased visits or scans and still nothing. The front desk staff were not helpful when we inquired about them sending a report to her PCP whom has been completely left out of the loop on her care - even though the PCP is the one that referred her to this practice. I have been a clinic office manager in ophthalmology for 15 years and this was the absolute worst provider/patient engagement I have ever witnessed!!! Let me just say .... To be honest I I feel that the doctors, nursing staff, and Jarrod the aesthetician were welcoming, kind and very knowledgeable. My disappointment comes with the receptionists. During my visit I was in contact with three various receptionists. Not one smile, or friendly gesture came from any of them. In fact, when I was talking to the aesthetician and the receptionists actually shushed us. Now, I can take being asked to be quiet if I'm being too loud, but I would expect someone to do this in a more respectful manner. Simply reminding us that there was a massage happening would have sufficed. Overall, I would still absolutely go to Dermatology Associates, just don't expect a warm welcome at the door, or checking out of the doctors office or Ada Aesthetics. read more

I saw the NP today and she was kind, patient, caring & answered all my questions. I also love Dr. Steerman. She's always extremely friendly & thorough. Unfortunately I can't say the same for the front desk people. Unwelcoming & just plain unfriendly. The front desk person that checked me in should be working in a back office where she is not meeting clients coming in. She was extremely rude. She really needs to crack a smile occasionally. read more

Dr Stierman is amazing! Absolutely love her and how she takes her time and really listens. Today I saw a P.A. that was very condescending and rushed through the appointment. I was literally in and out in less than 5 minutes and I was there for my complete body scan. This particular doctor needs to learn that even though you apply sunscreen, you can still get a tan and will still have tan lines! And just because she had a smile on her face doesn't mean she wasn't rude and extremely condescending!! I will continue to go back only because the staff and nurses and Dr Stierman are amazing but she will be the ONLY doctor I see from there from now on! read more

I went there three times. First time I had a terrible rash and was in so much pain by the time I went to the Dr. that that physicians assistant went and got the actual Dr. at which point I got excellent care. Although they insisted on making follow-up appointments for follow-up appointments which I found a little dishonest. The 2nd and 3rd time I went back for hair loss and a rosacea. I got the same physician assistant who was clearly just as clueless as the first time, but now refused to admit it. I was told there was really nothing anyone could do for me (but I might try some shampoos and/or creams they sell in the store downstairs). However, I was once again asked to schedule a follow up appointment, even after I was told there was nothing anyone could really do. Seems more like a store where they try to sell you on follow-up appointments and expensive creams, but the only competent person there is the only person you can't talk to unless you are crying because you haven't slept in 48hrs and have lost all ability to emotion regulate. Also got my name messed up on the online account system they have which caused problems with my login, looking up my appointments, and billing. read more

I drove from Findlay to Perrysburg for my appointment, and was told when I got there that my appointment had been cancelled when they called me a week earlier. I have no calls on either my cell phone or work phone on the date they said they called me from anyone but work. I have no calls any other day from them either. I had turned off my text alerts because I was tired of the constant texts of specials on cosmetic procedures. I am very disappointed that they did not take responsibility for their error. I took my daughter there to the physician assistant. I had already been trying to treat a rash she had. I was told to just keep doing what I was doing. I was charged for this and my child didn't get any relieve. She was demeaning and acting better than us. I will not go back there again. read more

Ada aesthetics is the biggest rip off. Dr Thaler recommended a series of peels that were almost 400 and I have seen NO difference in my skin. The expectations set forth by both the doctor and spa staff were far different than my results. The older blonde lady running the spa is very helpful when you're buying something but once she has your money, they treat you like garbage. I watched her give samples of new products to other clients and when I went to pay for my service nothing. It will be the LAST time I ever spend a dime there. read more

This is a review for Ada Aesthetics. After finally coming out victorious in a war against acne, I had a lot of battle scars leftover on my face that were a bit too unsightly for my taste. Now I never expected to achieve a perfect complection, but I expected better results based on the amount of money I shelled out. My dermatologist recommended a microdermabrasion, but the aesthetic technician said that a chemical peel would take care of my acne scars. In total, I had 3 chemical peels for just under $400. I know, that's a crazy amount of money and I completely regret the decision because there was no difference in my before and after. I'm disappointed in myself for thinking that a couple painful procedures and several days of embarrassing peeling and flaking off of dead skin (seriously, I looked like a freak!) would permanently erase my acne scars. It didn't. I wish I could get a partial refund for this bad decision. read more
