WATERED DOWN BOTOX. Loved the beautiful office. Loved my injector. But they have to be watering down the Dysport\Botox. Received 70.5 units Dysport on special prom. $300. Never saw much of anything happening to wrinkles. Injected forehead, glabella, and corners of mouth, around eyes. Took more than 2 weeks to kick in and was barely noticeable. Was out of state and came back 6 weeks after initial injections. Called and was rescheduled for more at regular price. Decided to just go with glabella and corners of mouth even tho none of the other injected areas were relaxed. Approx 13 more units. $60. Injected glabella and mouth corners. 14 days later wrinkles exactly the same. I called and expressed my dissatisfaction and was told to come in for more. Told Dysport/ Botox metabolized differently in diff people and that what I had was called full face. But not one single area was relaxed. I can understand if they stretched the last bit out but not one single area is relaxed. I've used neurotoxins before but not in the last 3-4 years. I've always gotten them in doctor's office as I have been in pharmaceutical and disposable sales for the last 25 years. At this point $360 in and not one site injected relaxed. Do I spend more where none of the neurotoxin has worked or go elsewhere? I think I'll go elsewhere. I hate to give negative reviews.

I am disappointed to update my review to remove stars. First off Nicole my injector deserves 100 stars and is a fabulous injector and an incredible human being. However, I recently bought some SkinMedica TNS Advanced Serum & Neck Cream resulting in severe allergic reaction. I called immediately, first thing in the morning and prompted to voicemail. I received text stating someone would contact soon. I uploaded face pictures to the text. I waited all day and no one called. I sent a follow up text. No response. So I called, put on hold and then was transferred to Mindy. On top of all this I have buried my bonus dad this week, taking care of my elderly mother and I am the POA of my other dad in ICU, and in a pretty strenuous masters program. My self care day (which I'm working hard on even doing for myself) turned into a nightmare. I have referred 100's of people to Renee at DermaTouch over the last 25 years, starting off in a little office building off FM1960 so writing this update is disappointing. Mindy was not very helpful. She repeatedly said "I have never seen this happen, are you sure it was not something else you did, like change laundry detergent". She never validated me or empathized regarding my issue. She said she will "look into" what she can do. She never encouraged me to come in so she can look personally at my face. I said "well for starters I want a refund". I contemplated mailing the items back. Well after brewing over the issue then sleeping on it, waking up to look in the mirror and not recognizing myself. My husband said I looked 20 years older! He said, you have to go there today in person for a consultation and return the products. I dreaded the idea of having to speak to someone that struggled to believe me with no empathy. When I arrived I asked for Nicole but was told I had to speak with Mindy. I asked for Renee but was told she was on vacation for a month and was not reachable. Hesitantly, I met with Mindy and I was shocked how she handled the situation. I understand she should ask me questions to better understand. However her questions were not in that manner. Her stance was mostly that it's NEVER happened, they are natural products & what could I have done to create this face rash. I have managed MedSpas and Plastic Surgeon offices. It's been awhile but I was able to reflect on how I handled issues. First off, depending on what the issue was I consulted with the MD on staff. The MD would meet with the client and come up with a care plan, this was usually minor burns from lasers and allergic reactions to products. And honestly most of the burns were from people who later admitted to using RetinA or a darker skin tone who had recent sun exposure. Technically in these cases it's not our fault because lots of documentation with signatures and education before treatment regarding contraindications. In other words, a thorough explanation of education and contraindications and signatures on consents were in every file. That being said, when these things happened, because it is inevitable, the clients were treated with the utmost respect and care and offered free services to make up for the burden and time they experienced. Thankfully it was not often. Every so often a person would complain about their Botox, those things could be handled between myself and a nurse. Nobody performing procedures are perfect - things happen but how you handle them is of utmost importance. Luckily most issues are out of the providers control anyway, therefore how you handle the matter is all you have to make the person comfortable. Well today, instead of helping my dad in ICU and being with my mom I went to the urgent care. Mindy said the rash should not get worse and should look better and better each day. Well it was not worse but it was not better either. Maybe a bit more swelling in my cheeks. The doctor said without intervention this severe rash could have taken weeks to clear up. Opposite of what Mindy recommended which was only to leave it alone. She said if it got worse then it could not be these products. The doctor said that was an odd conclusion given the condition of my skin and not knowing exactly which ingredient caused the reaction. Doc said there is a chance I could have scaring or develop hyperpigmentation areas -- which actually have already started He prescribed 20mg of prednisone two times per day (which is a lot) and 25mg Hydroxyzine 3 times a day. Now I have spent about $200 PLUS much more than that considering time spent dealing with issue. Not to mention if I will need post treatments for dark spots. The doctor said that she was not qualified to tell me that only if it was worse then it's definitely not the product and at that point, I should go to the doctor. I know it's not DermaTouchRN's fault I had an allergic reaction but they should have had a medical doctor look at me and prescribe the medications needed. And treat me like they cared.

BEWARE THEY ARE DISHONEST ABOUT UNITS INJECTED. I went for Botox injections, I was a long time customer. I always used 50 units and the bill was always the same. On this day, After my injections I went to the front desk to pay. The bill was much higher than usual. I asked why and she said I didn't take the 50 units so they charge more per unit. I told her I did not give Donna permission to inject fewer units. She called Donna out to talk to me and she refused to inject the 3 remaining units. The problem became clear. Fewer than 50 units cost much more. They made more money . I never went back to that clinic. I see that as stealing from the customer who clearly requested 50 units at that visit and every visit prior to that day. Watch the techs, don't take their word for the amount you are paying for. Look at the syringes. read more

I came here due to the pricing and good reviews and got botox on my forehead and Juvaderm for my nasolabial folds. After a few weeks, I noticed that my right nasolabial fold was filled superficially and left a lump on the right side. Unfortunately, I don't live in Houston so can't get it corrected -- so I'm stuck with a lump until it metabolizes. Customer service here was also just ok. In relation to other places I've been, it was rather subpar. When I initially called to make the appointment, the girl I spoke with seemed annoyed I was calling and it was really off putting. Upon arrival, the girl that numbed my face was very pleasant and hospitable. The front desk was also nice upon checkin. The physician that came in to answer any questions prior to injecting was also very friendly. Dina was my injector. Normally I could careless about personality, but I didn't find her that personable or engaging. It was a very transactional experience. She did provide good guidance and recommendation on the amount needed Pricing was fine, nice setting, and very sterile and clean. Also lacked complimentary wine or tea which is offered at other places I've been to. This is my first Yelp review and felt it was important to leave this for others. I'd give this place a pass unless you really need to pinch pennies. read more

Definitely a five-star experience! The booking and consultation experience was seamless. I booked online and had a virtual consultation the next day. So happy that I finally came to this amazing practice. I have been doing injectables over 17 years and been in the cosmetic/plastic/elective field for that many years too and I have had my share of different injectors and worked with different Dr.s and staff over the last almost 2 decades. Btw(I'm 37) i did my research & I found that Renee is absolutely wonderful. She is experienced, professional & knowledgeable and knows her stuff. A lot of people don't do their research and end up going somewhere and don't get the results they want. But not here, I enjoy Renee's bed side manner and she's so easy to get along with. Shes done my lips twice and I will be back for more services that she provides later in the year. The entire staff is friendly, fast , and informative as well too. Not to mention the prices are extremely AFFORDABLE, compared to other practices. The facility is inviting, I have nothing but positive things to say about this place. read more

Can I give Derma Touch RN Houston 10 stars? I trusted Donna in her professionalism and kindness to know what was best, and I am so pleased with the results. Donna truly is an artist!! You can tell she enjoys what she does, and she likes helping people look their best without overdoing it!! It's rare to find someone so knowledgeable and highly trained as Donna. Please consider what the negative reviews have to say. This is definitely not a place that makes you feel welcome or cared for. The atmosphere is not relaxed. It felt crowded (especially during COVID) and noisy. I went in for a chemical peel, asked some BASIC questions about the chemicals being used, and the lady rudely said "I have to go get the bottle, I don't have that memorized". Well, no wonder she doesn't have it memorized, because the concentrations of the ingredients are not on the bottle. I would expect a professional to know what they are putting on my face and be kind when I ask about it rather than rude. All she did was tell me I should buy this product, do this procedure, have that type of facial. Sell, sell, sell. We barely talked about the reasons why I wanted to have a chemical peel in the first place. I knew right then that I would never come back here for any procedure. I would rather travel an hour across town to visit a provider that actually knows what they're doing. I will never recommend this spot to anyone. I literally made a Yelp account just to ensure that my feedback available for others who may need to see it. Horrible experience. read more

I have been driving across Houston to DermaTouch for over 10 years, when the now director was the nurse providing the services! Year after year, they continue to provide professional nurses, excellent services, and they always educate their patients before procedures regardless of how big or small. I'm conservative about my skin and I appreciate their professionalism. I highly recommend making the drive to them- especially for the reasonable pricing. I was referred to Dermatouch for my Botox injections. I will start by saying the girl scheduling the appointments is phone was not very friendly or personable. I just let it go. I saw Donna for my Botox injections. She was amazing!! My results are incredible. I will definitely return to see Donna. However, when I checked in for my appointment as well as when I checked out after my appointment, the front desk girls were again both less than friendly. If I wasn't as happy as I am with my injections done by Donna, I wouldn't come back, strictly because of the experiences with the front desk. I want to feel welcomed, and my business appreciated, their lack of smiles or warmth, and over attitude offers neither. read more

I've been getting brazilians done for about 5 years now and this is by far the best one I've ever had. She uses the best grade of hard wax I've ever seen. In the past I've been to other salons that use hard wax but only put a thin layer on. Therefore when they pull it off, it breaks on your skin and they have to keep picking it back up again. If you can imagine, it's very painful. Because cyndi uses such high quality wax in conjunction with the fact that she puts a thicker layer on your skin, it comes off in one piece which is MUCH less painful and so much faster. Alina and Cindy: Alina is a lovely woman and gives clear instructions on using topical anesthetic beforehand to reduce discomfort. She is up front with you about how long your treatment plan will be to give you the best results possible. The experience never awkward like at the hair salon or nail salon. It's a very pleasant experience. Cindy is lovely and will always call the day before as a reminder which is great for someone forgetful like myself. Prices: her prices for electrolysis are competitive. At the front desk is a price sheet showing price per minute for every minute from 15 up to over an hour. Results: After going once per week for about 6-7 weeks I am so happy to see results, even if they are not typical. I turned to DermaTouch RN upon the recommendation of Elaris Med Spa Wellness Clinic to start with laser hair removal before pursuing electrolysis (if needed). I was in pain before the treatment, to the point that I dreaded shaving because of the pain & discomfort of the hairs growing back under my skin. My legs looked like I had acne from the number of ingrown hairs. The area I needed to treat was so large, both legs, that laser hair removal was a more appropriate treatment because it quickly covers a large area. Nicki Pederoni at DermaTouch RN has taken great care of me. I appreciate her answering all of my questions, from clarifying paperwork to breaking down how the laser works so I knew what to expect. I searched and searched for a place to have my Botox done. I went to 3 other places. One made me come in for a consultation, and were very expensive. The other 2 places were nice, but just too much money. I then found DermaTouch RN. When I called for prices, the person I spoke to, answered all of my questions, and then some. I decided to schedule an appt. When I went in, I thought, well it's not all fancy schmancy, but it was nice. I felt right at home. The Office Manager, and Nurses are very kind, and it honestly felt like I knew them forever. Once, I went in with my Nurse, she gave me a course on Botox and Laser Hair Removal. I've been doing Botox for years, and didn't know half of the things she told me about. I did my Botox, and my laser hair removal, and I'm very happy to say that after a year of going to DermaTouch RN, I look great, and I look 10 years younger. Thank you DermaTouch RN. This place is a disaster !!! Trust me. I went there for a consultation and decided to become a member. I thought that for $125/month, I will get a decent treatment. It turned out to be a horrible experience!!!! They make you remove your own makeup in the bathroom and any treatment is only booked for less than 20 mns!!!! Totally a rip off. Their technicians are not well trained. I got the serum in my eyes and it was dripping all over my ears and my hair because I found out that Mindy didn't use the right tip for the Dermalinfusion and didn't even sincerely apologize. She also stated that she couldn't find the hairband in her room. She also gave me the BBL treatment and it was set at such low setting that I didn't see any results. I watched a YouTube video of how it was supposed to be performed and she missed half of the procedure! What a joke! I manage to cancel my membership and found a new place called Beauty4skin :) read more

DermaTouch is like a fine wine, it gets better every year and I have been going there for about 10 years now. They offer skin treatment services using the latest technology treating the skin from the inside out decreasing wrinkles, building collagen and reducing pigmentation. The goal is to look radiant and young by addressing individual problems. Renee truly cares about her patients and staff and always takes the time to say HI! The monthly package is WORTH it!! This was my first time at this office. They made me feel right at home and Michelle was very informative. They also showed me ways to save money on future visits. About 2 weeks latter Chrisy called me to make sure everything went well at my apt. She was super sweet and answered a few questions I had. I have been at other Salons/Spas where my treatment didn't last. I'm super happy with my procedure and the greats deals they can offer. I love this place. The staff is always so nice and friendly. I have been going to them for over five years. Cheryl is my botox nurse because she never hurts or bruises me. I used to go to a doctor and she always hurt me and left me black and blue. You can tell that Cheryl enjoys what she does and will do all she can to help you look better. All I can say is Wow! I love my lips. Kudos to Marla. She is great. I've been a client of Dermatouch since 2009 using Botox and facials to conservatively slow down my facial aging (I'm 53). Yesterday I took the plunge. Marla listened and knew I only wanted to conservatively restore my lips ( not enhance) and she artistically restored youthful volume back into my lips. Clearly, Kathy J. is not familiar with Botox administration. Using the same needle is the standard of care when administering Botox. I am a regestered nurse and I know this as fact. I have had wonderful experiences on every visit to Dermatouch RN. Renee and Carrie are honest and they are excellent clinicians. Taking advantage I was close by, I walked in for a possible quick consultation or to make an appointment, but the receptionist did not acknowledge me, she was with another lady, but 5 minutes and still would not even look at me standing there. She could have said, something like "I will be right with you", but not even greeting. I left. Renee does a fantastic job. I was very hesitant at giving this place a try because I was accustomed to the place I had previously been going, however my favorite girl had moved and I didn't like the way her replacement did my botox so I had to find someone new. Dermatouch RN is an amazing place. For a minimum cost, Renee and Carrie can take years off of your appearance. I never found either of them to be pushy about selling anything. They were helpful, honest, and friendly. After my divorce, I really needed a confidence booster but didn't have a lot of money to spend.
