They had a great special for a full syringe of Resylane refine. I don't get my lips done often and I was hesitant to do a full syringe but Vanessa was incredible. She knows what she's doing and makes you feel so comfortable. The topical numbing seems like it's improved over the years. IMO it didn't hurt much in the beginning, just a few involuntary tears and a sneeze, then after a few injections didn't hurt at all. And they look so natural, and even. It's almost like she knew exactly what my lips needed and where even though it was her first time with me. Will absolutely be a repeat customer of hers when the time comes. Wow. Well, they just lost a repeat customer. I went for injectables, but when I called for a more expensive treatment, and was placed on 2 "brief holds" (they weren't brief) I began to ask about Ultherapy. The receptionist all of a sudden says, "Why don't you think abut it and call back tomorrow". It was closing time and I don't think she wanted to wait any longer. Keep in mind I had been on hold for about 7 minutes and spoke with her for about 4 according to my phone (I was keeping an eye on how long I'd been on hold. This review is long overdue. I have been coming here for about 5 years and I have always been satisfied with my botox and fillers. It's usually possible to get an appointment within a week's notice, but sometimes my favorite injector is booked a week out so two weeks out is a safer bet to secure an appointment. It took me bouncing around between injectors to finally find my favorite. I have been going to Caitlin for probably the last 3 years and I completely trust her with my face. Chelsea is amazing. She is a pro at injecting filler with cannula, she did my mid face to help with both my undereye hollows and my nasiolabial folds. With just 1 syringe (previously I've had 1 injected gradually in each cheek over the past year) she created a beautiful, result with ZERO bruising. The volume is so subtle and well blended with my face no one can tell, but I look lifted and more youthful. Chelsea is so patient and conservative with her filler placement. She truly listens to the patient's concerns and thoughts and consults with them. She is so nice and understanding if you are at all hesitant or nervous. I don't usually write reviews but after quite a few unsatified experiences at this place, I feel like I have to. I've had isssues every time I've gotten botox here. Their product wears off after a few weeks which indicates they are giving people expired or old product. I've had botox many many times over the years and it will last for 3-4 months. They always bruise me which is ridiculous when getting this type of injection. Recently, I got the PRP facial injection treatment done and it was a total disaster. It hurt so bad like nothing I've ever had done before. I've gotten fillers for a decade and never had anything even close to this pain. The nurse was jamming the needle and some tool into my face like she hated me and was trying to hurt me. I was so beat up and bruised for weeks after that on my vacation:( And it did absolutely nothing anyway. A total waste of $600. I've talked to other people that have had this treatment at other places and said it should never have been like that. I don't think these people know what they are doing and after reading the myriad of negative reviews, it seems alot of people agree. read more

I've been a customer for several years and really enjoy stopping by to be assisted by their ultra help helpful staff. I mainly use their services for B12 shots since the prices are so reasonable and I can usually stop by without an appointment - a big plus for me with my busy and usually unpredictable schedule. Parking on the street very good but pay attention to the no parking/street sweeping days of the week which are clearly marked. The location looks tiny when you enter but they pack a lot of services into their space and have very modern equipment for everything they offer. It's been 2 weeks now since my injections. The nurse who administered the dysport in my face said she would lift my eyebrows and the complete opposite happened. My once arched eyebrows have dropped so much that my upper eyelid shelf is now resting on my lower lid and my eyebrows no longer have an arch. The crease in my normally deep set eyes is completely gone. My lower eyelids are wrinkled skin now. I've been getting botox for 10 years and haven't had anything like this happen. I came to Dermfx as a referral from my friend. Lauren was my nurse who was AMAZING. She made me feel so comfortable and always explained what she was doing. She always checked to see if I was okay while she was doing the procedures. I got IPL (photofacial) and lip fillers. Fillers: I used Juvederm Ultra XC. I was originally was going to go with restalyne, but there was a sale for 75$ off of juvederm. I did my research, and restalyne lasts a smidge less time than juvederm, and juvederm gives you a little more "plump". Pain: I like to think I have a high pain tolerance, and numbing cream is used which Lauren was generous with. You still feel the sticking, but it's not terrible. Needles don't bother me, but if they do bother you, don't worry. It feels like a little pinch and once the needle is in, it's over quickly. Scale of 1-10, 10 being terrible pain, it was a 2 for me. The instant result was crazy (in a good way)! Yes you're swollen, yes you have a little tenderness/soreness, but that goes away the next day. I ate just fine. Just don't drink from a straw (it can move the filler into that position and it's uncomfy). I did have some bruising, but it looks far worse than it is. There's no pain associated with the bruising. You will feel little bumps on the inside of your lips (they can be from the bruising or the fillers). I massage them out to make sure there isn't chunks of filler just sitting there (which Lauren educated me about). If it didn't rub out, it was the bruise. The next morning I woke up and was like "WHOA". You're still going to be swollen and may feel like "OMG what did I do?!". Don't panic! The swelling WILL go down. Takes about a full week for the bruises to disappear and to get a full idea of how your lips will settle. You lips will go back to feeling like your lips and not feeling like you are constantly pouting. Advice: I showed Lauren a picture of what I wanted. Please remember, your lips are probably not the same shape or length. Show your nurse what you're looking for in regards to result, but give her creative control. While you have a picture in mind, the nurses have the knowledge and skill to get close to your picture, while making your new lips fit your face appropriately. Don't take any ibuprofen, fish oil, or drink the night before--it can make u bleed more easily, therefore, create more bruising. IPL: painless and quick. I have ALOT of dark spots/sun spots and unevenness. I bought a SPF 50 Lancôme sunblock (40$ @ Sephora) and just mix it into my daily moisturizer. You NEED to wear sunblock EVERYDAY, otherwise you're reversing what you just reversed (duh). You go back to you're normal skin care routine the same day. Little crusties will appear on your face the next days following the facial. THIS IS NORMAL. It'll all slough off and your skin looks amazing! I still have two more sessions. You get the BEST results on the second round. Cost: the IPL was 199$ (on sale, normally 250$) and the juvederm is 425$ (75$ off coupon, normally 500$) Did I mention LAUREN? She's the best!! Ask for her! She's there on Thursdays and Fridays. read more

DO NOT GET COOLSCULPT HERE!!! Can't stress this enough. I can understand if it was as simple as it not working, but my stomach looks like I'm 6 months pregnant and I had this done in Feb. DermFX (including the owner, Erin Alonso) acknowledged something went wrong and I would need liposuction, but when Zeltiq (the owners of coolsculpt) said they wouldn't do anything, DermFX said they wouldn't either. 2 different techs were applying the device and I had to have them come in during it to reposition (I think one may have been training the other) One of the techs said there's a chance of Paradoxical Hyperplasia but assured me that it was rare and nothing to worry about. Please do your research before going to a place like this. I wish I had gone to a plastic surgeon or just never have done this. The business will not return my funds and in my last communication with them claimed I am trying to smear their reputation. They also requested I go to a plastic surgeon to have them look at my stomach but would not respond to me when I asked if they'd be reimbursing me for the consultation. I unfortunately had to report them to the Medical Board. (This is my 3rd post since the review keeps getting removed. Seems as though they don't want negative experiences out there.) read more
