Driving to work I felt a bumpety-bump that wasn't due to Frosty the Snowman; rather I ran over a bolt on the well-maintained streets of Bridgeport, CT (eye roll). I first called and then took the car to DeSantie Tire Company. Bam! In one half-hour and $25 later, bolt removed, tire patched, and we're on the move again. Jason was brilliant! I witnessed one guy working at Town Fair, down the road, deliberating damaging my hub caps. I think he was jealous I had such a nice car and wanted to screw me over. He would put a lug nut in it, with the hubcap outside surface down, as a cup for the lug nuts and then drag/scrap it on the concrete, moving it back and forth each and every time he placed a lug nut inside. He moved it and put it back where it was. I told him to stop doing that, and he kept on doing it. He was being deliberately rude. Then he used an air powered gun to over tighten and ruin the hub caps. I complained, and the manager paid for the replacement cost of the hubcap, but it was completely unnecessary, a waste of my time going to the dealer. A hateful incident. Placing the hub caps face up was all that was necessary. Now I won't use Town Fair Tire. I went back to DeSantie Tire. They are a small shop, get you in and out quickly, and if you negotiate a price on the phone, it is only slightly higher than Town Fair, and you get great service, skilled workers who don't screw things up. There is no waiting, and you are in and out in a short period. They don't have space for a lot of cars to park... so they have to move fast, do the job correctly, and send you on your way. I now use DeSantie Tire for all my tire needs. They charge a bit more but honor my request to hand tighten lug nuts, are happy to let me attach the hubcaps myself, and have been fair and polite to me. Do remember to negotiate the price ahead of time. Some of the people behind the counter will start to pad the bill if you let them. Which is the only reason I docked them one star. read more

I needed new tires for my 2019 Nissan Rogue and started the search online but my head was going to blow up reading all the reviews, I thought about going to Town Fair Tire but I read some good reviews about DeSantie Tire which I had driven by about 500 times, stopped in and talked to Lou and decided on Kelly tires with his recommendation. The tires came in in about 3 days and had them put on in around 50min, great tires, and a super price, about a week later one of the tires went flat, went back and I had run over a screw(not their fault), they fixed the flat in 30 min at no charge. Boy this is an awesome place!!! Just got my damaged wheels back and they look great! I was really well taken care of. They made sure I had safe wheels to ride on while they fixed the dented one's. Located in a teeny tiny shop area, you can't miss it with all the tires in the window, but then again, you would've never guessed a tire place would be next to the hair salon. The place was friendly and had quick service for my needs. Definitely no frills, the price was what I expected for my car. I was in and out before I could even sit down to read my book.
