It won't let me give zero stars but its what they deserve. Went in for an altenator that should have been covered by the warranty i have on the car but the shop decided to go with an altenator that cost 754.93 rather then the one the warranty company would have supplied or suggested which would have cost around 250. Don't do business with these guys they displayed predatory behavior there is no world were a altenator job should be close to 1k all in. read more

We have always received exceptional customer service at the Mobile Trumbull Service Center, located at the corner of White Plains Road and Daniels Farm Road in Trumbull. Our family has been going to this service center for many, many years, and we've consistently had positive experiences. The new manager, Chance, along with the team of auto mechanic technicians, have been incredibly helpful, reasonable, and professional. From jump-starting a dead battery and installing a new one quickly, to completing much-needed last-minute repairs on our son's truck before he returned to college, and most recently, thoroughly investigating an emergency notification light on one of our vehicles -- they've gone above and beyond every time. Finding trustworthy and qualified mechanics is not easy, and knowing we can rely on the Mobile Trumbull Service Center right here in our town is both comforting and greatly appreciated. I needed an oil change and service. I was in and out in no time. Service was very friendly, helpful. Left my car, took an Uber to work and back, grabbed my car and that was it. Hours for pick up as late as 10pm. Hundreds of dollars cheaper than the dealership. Good find. read more

Great place. The people here are honest and really cool. I remember once I had an issue with my car and I was near here so I just rolled right in and they helped me on the spot. I have been using Trumbull Mobil Service Center for the past 24 months or so and have been extremely pleased with their level of service, responsiveness and pricing. Our family has a Nissan, Ford and Cadillac, all of which are 7+ years old and been services by Ed and his team. They are an honest shop. In fact, I recently brought in my Maxima due to a vibration on the front passenger wheel when applying the breaks slightly. Upon inspection, they said it required a new motor mount which is costly due to the hours required for the repair. I OK'd the job and they ordered the parts. When they started the repair and accessed the mount, they realized it was missing a bolt but the mount itself was in full working order. They went ahead and replace the bolt and were 100% transparent with me. Needless to say, Ed and his team will continue to have my business and I will continue to recommend them. read more

I was running by this service center (literally running, I did not have my car) and stopped in because I badly needed water - yet I had no money. The manager, Ed, was super nice and offered me as many cups of ice water as I needed. I was so thankful and promised a shout out - so here it is! I get why people love this place. The guys are honest and they do good work. My issue with this place is the absolutely terrible communication. Everytime I drop my car off I have to call 4-5 times to get any sort of information on my car. I've been given misinformation several times and these guys work slow when you drop off. So, proceed with caution. read more

I have lived in Trumbull for 25 years and have purchased gas from this Mobil for most of that time. I was always hesitant to bring my car in for service to any gas station -- just never did that. One day, I had a flat and had to bring it to the closest station. Instead of selling me new tires, they fixed the flat (for just a few dollars). That got my attention. Next time I needed work, I brought my car in. I have always been satisfied. Recently however, they went above and beyond and saved me $3,000!! My 170k pilot had every engine light on and for something big and serious like this, thought I had to go to the dealer. They evaluated the whole thing and said I needed a new engine. I figured before I did that, I should have the local guys take a look too. They took the car and looked at it in detail. Instead of charging me $150 for a diagnosis (as did the dealership), they did that for free. I decided to buy their recommendation ($480) and my car is operating like new! No new engine -- just a fixed car. These guys are fair and honest and smart!! It's pretty rare that I write a review -- but these guys deserve it. Thank you!! read more

I had a great experience at Trumbull Mobile Service Center. I drove through a construction site and got a screw stuck in one of the tires. It was after their service hours but garage was still open. Ed and Chance were still there. Fixed the tire within 10 min and I was able to get home without worrying about flat tire. Great service, good people. read more

On a cross-country drive, I ended up with a power steering fluid leak, and was not sure how bad it was. I found these guys through this web-site, and dropped by on Tuesday morning. They were super busy, but took the time to do an initial diagnosis - turned out the leak was too big to continue driving with. Despite the fact that they were booked, they were able to fit the work in over the next day. They also did a top to tail inspection and made recommendations on other fixes I would need in the near future. Ed was fantastic, and guided me with great patience through the entire process. I've never been disappointed with the service at this place, Ed is the best!!! I work nearby and came at the suggestion of my coworkers, who also service their cars here, when I had car issues. They spent hours checking out my car, and came to the conclusion I had a leak. I was expecting the usual ridiculous car repair bills, but was pleasantly surprised. For just the price of an oil change: they found the leak, replaced a part, and checked out the rest of the car. There was no labor charge, no parts charge, nothing! When I went to pick up my car Ed asked where I normally get my oil changed, and I admitted I usually go to Splash (for the free car wash with oil change & free vacuums). He told me that the leak I had was caused by whoever had been previously changing my oil. He also informed me that my filters (which splash has trying to convince me to change several times for a couple hundred dollars) were fine, and there's no reason to upgrade to premium oil. I've had several similarly impressive experiences since, and now I won't take my car anywhere else. It's so nice to have someone knowledgeable and trustworthy working on my car. Even when I've had to have more expensive services done, he breaks down the bill for me and explains what I'm paying for (and occasionally knocks off some labor charges). The regular oil change is $50 I believe, but there's frequently a special for $25. I've discovered saving the $10 dollars on the car wash and vacuums is nowhere near worth the value of having someone trustworthy completely check out my car. It's also awesome to know I'm not going to be pressured into paying for services I don't need. read more

Me and my friends were traveling from Brooklyn back to Boston last week. We ended up breaking down in the middle of CT, thought it was the wheel bearing. Was towed to Trumbull Mobile instead of the four hour tow to Boston. Not only was the tow guy great but as soon as we got to the shop we were told everything would be fine and they would check out my car and give us a call and to hang at the near by Starbucks. No more than thirty minutes later we received a call from Ed, one of the mechanics, saying we were good to go! Turns out it was a piece of plastic that had snapped and was hitting my tire causing a whole bunch of noise. They secured the loose piece ensuring I would make it back to Boston safely. And I did! All I can say is WOW. Took my mazda there today. The guys there were so nice and polite. They fixed my car in under 40min cause they knew I was on my lunch break and had to get to work by a certain time and it only cost me $20! Not just mechanics, but very nice guys. My brakes were sounding funny, and I have a newborn and was worried. Called them in the morning - they were flexible to look at it that day - After looking they found my brakes were fine.
