Disaster! Horrible customer service at Desert Imaging/RadNet facility. Facility did not have the proper staff on-site for the day of my procedure. Nasty conversation upon reconfirming where they made it "my fault", that they couldn't find my prescription. Staff person nasty and unhelpful on the phone, and hung up on me. Called back and rescheduled. Upon arrival, all of the notes and instructions from me, and from my Doc's office were missing upon arrival. They didn't/don't even have the x-ray equipment needed (as they stated as having when appointment was made). Furthermore, I watched a group of inept workers be nasty and condescending to everyone who walked into the facility. I've been in lots of Doctor's offices and health services facilities - but I've never seen this kind of disorganization. Nor, have I ever witnessed a front office in a medical office so nasty, mean, bitter, unprofessional group of staff. Obviously, very bad management. If your insurance gives you a choice to go anywhere else .... GO ELSEWHERE!!! Save yourself the aggravation of this horrible place. read more

I experienced the worst patient care with the front desk employee Martha. Had an appt on 4/13/18 at 12:30 and confirmed via email the day before but when got there I was told by Martha that the appt was cancelled and "they" have called for the last 2 days prior my appt to inform about it... I never received a message or a missed call, I let her know and I asked to please schedule me for the next soonest appt available, she said she was not allowed to schedule anything with a very rude attitude and never apologized for the inconvenience, I asked for her manager or supervisor and she said that her boss "Tara" or "Kara" was not even there... I came here for an annual mammogram. My first time at this location. As with all things involving HMO healthcare communication between doctors is terrible. (Might be the same with PPO) I was told by my dr to expect a call to schedule my mammogram. Two weeks later I realize I haven't gotten a call. I call my drs office, leave two or three messages (one a day) on a machine I am transferred to. On next day I finally reach a nurse. She says we faxed approval. "Here's a number call them," I'm told. I call they have no approval. I call back drs. office. Finally a month after drs appt I'm getting a mammogram. For the lack of communication between drs offices and the fact that after a week of getting second approval faxed I still hadn't heard from them, they get 3 stars. Had this not been routine I might be a little more upset and gotten involved earlier. Being in hospitality I just expect people to do what they say they are going to do. And when it comes to your health it's even more important that the communication is accurate. The place itself 105B was clean and nice. Front desk women friendly and helpful. If there was a "0" that would be the rating I would give. Desert Oasis Healthcare referred me here (Desert Imaging) for a PET scan, but I am unable to contact anyone to make an appointment! I left several messages at the "PET scheduling desk" with a recorded message that said the scheduler was on another line with a patient, leave name, DOB, telephone and someone would return my call. After 3 such messages, for the past 4 days, no return call! I finally called Desert Oasis Healthcare (8:30AM), the person attempted to contact that desk to no avail, then attempted to reach a supervisor or manager, again to no avail. Finally after 30minutes on hold, she advised she would send an email and I should hear during the day. Guess what? No call! Called Desert Oasis again at 4:30PM, the person wanted to transfer to the "PET scheduling desk", I declined and asked her to call while I held. Disconnect. Recalled and got the same person, she told me the "PET scheduling desk" person had a family emergency and had to leave... (since last Friday?). Another email will be sent and I am supposed to hear by tomorrow. I will update as to the result. 7/27/2016 - Update: still no contact from Desert Imaging. Is there a rating lower than "0"? Called Desert Oasis Healthcare and they will again attempt to contact and call me back. Update to the continuing saga continues... 7/27/2016 - Finally a call from the Murietta office (? far from my home in Indio) to schedule. Told the person who answered I wanted to speak to Alana who had left a message for me to schedule a PET scan. She said Alana doesn't schedule PET scans, I needed to talk to another to whom she would connect me. Got the message that person was on the phone with a patient, leave name, phone and DOB. Left info and awaiting call. More detail as it happens. Hope my oncologist doesn't die in the meantime(!). 7/28/2016 - Success! A call back from Desert Oasis Healthcare as promised who were also unsuccessful at reaching a PET scheduler or manager at Desert Advanced Imaging. Rather than waste more time with DAI, Desert Oasis re-referred me to Eisenhower Imaging. I will call them shortly for an appointment. Unless there is more problem, I will end this tale of woe. 3 months of being lied too. I had an appt they had to reschedule 3 times due to their staffing issues. They have a technician out so they reschedule for a month away. Staff issue happen 3 times. 1st was the technician didn't have enough time because they didn't do their paper work correctly, which they confirmed with me prior that it was correct. The other two times they had a technician out. Then my referral expired because they took too long. Instead of notifying me, they just cancelled the appt. So 3 months of waiting to not be seen. I asked for a manager to call me for months. Never happened. Conor their supervisor said I would be called. Conor never called. Then they lied about accepting my Insurance. They're not in my network and wanted to charge me double my deductible. Also had me do a eye scan for possible metal in my eyes before mri which seemed smart until I was rescheduled 3 times which makes the eye scanned pointless since I work with metal daily. Also got sick after leaving the eye scan I didn't need. They showed no care and blamed it all on a lack of staffing. When they pushed me back 3 months, they allowed people scheduled after me to go before me. I worked for months in pain waiting for them to do my mri. My first time here and I was pleasantly surprised due to the so-so reviews. They were able to do my bone density test right after my mammogram even though I had no appointment for the former. Each test was done quickly and almost (mammogram ) painlessly. And efficiently! read more

Was referred here for a MRI. What is the point in scheduling appointments when the people you hire to schedule appointments put down the wrong date and location? Even after confirming it over the phone 3 times. Ended up taking time off work just to waste my time. read more

I don't know what words to use to explain my treatment and frustration at and with this facility. I scheduled an appointment almost two weeks prior for Wednesday December 2nd at 9:45am. I arrived at my appointment at 9:35am only to be told that I could not be seen. I requested time off from work for this appointment and initially I was very excited to see my baby's growth seeing as how I'm four months pregnant. After some back and forth with scheduling, my OB's office and the desert advanced imaging staff telling me there wasn't anything they could do but reschedule me, I decided to call and speak to a manager. Mind you, scheduling dropped the ball and they were treating me as if I had done something wrong. Come to find out this "manager" had no knowledge of the mess her staff was making of my situation. Now it's 10:45. The "manager" then informs me to come back right then for my ultrasound. I went back to this stupid place thinking everything was taken care of...NOT!! I sat there for almost an hour (11:38) before I became so upset that I began to cry. Not only did they waste 2 hours of my life, I will not be paid by my employer for that time lost. I'm appalled, I'm angry, hurt and disappointed. I had plans to get blood work done as well, so I was fasting. I was hungry, full of water for the ultrasound and very uncomfortable. What ASS HOLES to treat anyone that way. They made the mistake, refused to fix it and when given the opportunity to actually fix it, they still screwed up! This is not my first run in with this office, so to avoid any further "non-communication" I let my OB know I REFUSE to go to this facility or any of their other locations for anything anymore. I will share my experience with anyone who will listen because this type of service or lack thereof is unacceptable. I will also make sure to get better insurance, maybe that's why they were so careless. read more

Went in for a vaginal ultrasound . I had already meet my deductible and the girl at front desk charged me $186.00. The ultrasound was a complete disaster . My bladder was so full she had me go to bathroom 3 times and did not complete the outer ultrasound as I had no urine left .. worst part she was training a young girl and felt like a test subject.. it was the worst experience ever.. dont believe I had an accurate reading.horrible .. and I have been trying to get my detuctable back for 6 months said they would send never did. read more

First of all, the low grade is for extremely rude front counter staff. I arrived at the requested time, went to the desk and both of the staff were involved in an obviously personal conversation which lasted a couple of minutes. When they finally looked up, they just both had blank stares and said nothing to me. I am in the health care field myself and customer service is important when establishing relationships with clients. Finally I noticed a "sign in" board which I promptly signed in without any prompting from these two. I noticed they treated other patients like this as well, unless they spoke Spanish (and I DO TOO!!!) These two need intense customer service training. On a positive note, the technician was great and maybe needs to teach the other two a thing or too. I will be informing Kaiser customer service about this experience. read more

After reading some of the negative reviews, I felt a little trepidation about using this facility. However, from start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. This was my fourth MRI and I would say that the service was exemplary. The receptionist was efficient and friendly; ditto the technician who impressed me as being very experienced and professional. I have been going here for many years. I'm not sure what's happened in the last year, but it's been terrible! I've been trying to get an appointment for two weeks! Finally went by there in person today to be told the only person that could schedule me had gone to lunch, that they would have her call this afternoon. Big surprise, no call. All my records are there, but I will call elsewhere tomorrow. It's too bad, because they have one of the best radiologists! As I was waiting to talk to someone, the lady in front of me was complaining her doctor scheduled an appointment, but they had no record of it. Not the first time I've heard that happening either.
