Paint and prep not good. Complained to me that they bid the job to low. Half of the parts that were supposed to be painted were spray painted when I arrived to pickup "finished" pieces. Crappy prep, paid no attention to details, and there excuse was the job was the bid to low by the owner, so I get a crappy paint and prep work. read more

Initially went in to have a ceramic coating applied on my BMW X5. The couple that own/run the place "Danny" his wife come across very personable, customer centric, "100%" satisfaction guaranteed ". I even had two referrals for them following my vehicle. Mine was to take 5 business days, initially. One excuse followed by another followed by blame on parts distributor, light staff, to mysterious parts on my care was identified as broken (car was in pristine condition. SIX weeks later, they call to tell me the car was ready. I inspect...Nope, the roof hadn't been touched, a few other areas of concern were found. The wife told me she herself applied the ceramic coating then changed it to someone else did. One time, I stopped off unannounced to see progress (not much at all). One of the workers told me this is the normal way they do business. So yourself, your wallet, your time, your stress ALL a huge favor and avoid the rhetoric & mediocre gimmicky pitch. I took my Mini cooper into them on March 2nd. It was to fix a front plastic bumper and paint a small spoiler on the back. I had the bumper that was broken. They assured me they could fix it. I get a call a week later saying they need a new part and it will be $200 more so $750 for this now. weeks go by and they still don't have the part. Finally Im getting upset so they say yes it will be done Saturday March 25th. I arrive pay and drive away. The interior is filthy and the gas is reading zero. I brought the car in with over 1/3 of a tank. I make it 5 blocks and run out of gas. Its then that I notice there is around 100 more miles than when I brought it in. They kept it so they could drive it every day. If this wasnt bad enough the paint job is horrific. It looks like a 2nd grader painted it. So much orange peel. see attached pics. AVOID this place. i am also filing a complaint with the BBB and the CA state attorney general. Also small claims court. read more

I have taken 3 different Lexus cars to Desert Bumper Pro over the last 5 years or so- one to re-paint the rear bumper, one to repair a door lock, and yesterday I took my 2017 Lexus RX 350 F Sport in to have the cracked chrome grill surround replaced. I bought the part on ebay and Desert Bumper Pro installed it at a very reasonable price. The entire front bumper had to be removed to install the part- lights, cameras and various computer parts had to be disconnected and reconnected. It was a very complicated job. The car was even hand washed, and the replaced part looks perfect. I waited while the repair was done in a nice waiting area. Everyone was busy, and everyone was exceedingly friendly. I was even thanked by the owner and his wife as I left. I am very happy, as usual, with Desert Bumper Pro. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needed reasonably priced, quality auto body repair. We are lucky to have Desert Bumper Pro in our beautiful valley. read more

Why would anyone go to a corporate shop when you can directly support a family? He explained exactly what needed to be done with my bumper (I had tried and failed to do a DIY bondo job in hopes of saving some money). Danny was transparent, honest and super cool about the situation. They gave me a quote and said I could bring the car in that week. These guys are AMAZING!! I had the rear bumper on my Audi fully repainted for a great price.. about $200 cheaper than the next cheapest option. However, the work might as well have been done by the Audi dealer themselves, thats how well it turned out (and I'm a perfectionist when it comes to the way my car looks). My car looked brand new when the job was complete, they matched the rest of my car perfectly. They gave me an excellent price, but more importantly I trusted them.
