Definitely one of worst "restaurant" burgers I have ever eaten. I suspect they are using premade frozen patties from Sysco or maybe they buy from Costco. Maybe other items are better but I would never eat this burger again. Just go to Millie's down the street and get a decent burger. read more

Fiddler's is now under new ownership and it looks amazing. Love the wood deco, big screen TVs and the vibe. Despite the construction on 21st South, there's a huge free parking space. That's a plus in Sugarhouse area! Now the food. I love the thin crust pizza! I had the chef special (brisket with red pepper, caramelized onion- very similar to Philly cheese steak sandwich) it was soooo good. The crust is thin, but chewy, not the dry crunchy cookie thin crust. This is real pizza crust. I always order wings if I can in all the restaurants. There are 4 different wings at Fiddler's, and of course I have to try the not so regular ones: black pepper Bur-ban and Korean chilly. They are finger licking good. I also ordered Cauliflower bites. They're deep fried like popcorns (of course slightly bigger in size) I couldn't stop eating it. Those bites are flavorful by itself, but if you dip them in ranch and/or buffalo sauce, I can just eat it all day. I heard the MAC & cheese is good, and so is the burger. I'm also excited to find out that they have light late night menu: pizza by the slice and others. I am definitely coming back for late night cravings! It's so hard to find any good food after 9pm in SLC, now I have a to-go place. read more

I am shocked at how amazing this place is! I've driven by it thousands of times, but finally went in for a friend's birthday party. We ordered the garlic cheese nuts, which were some of the best things I've ever had in my entire life. The server was adorable and he recommended us to dip it in the marinara and then the ranch, which makes a to die for flavor. The elderberry Cosmo is the best drink I've ever had. I had never had a Cosmo before and now it is easily on my top five drink choices. The service was consistently, friendly and fast constantly checking on us and seeing if we needed anything else. The ambience is fun and lively, although it is strangely calm for a bar, especially since it was a Saturday night. I enjoyed it though because I could actually hear about my friends were staying! I will definitely be back for more garlic knots and to try more food options from the fiddlers elbow. read more

Fiddler's is such a gem! I came for the first time last night to meet some friends and had the best time. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. My Aperol Margarita was tart, strong and delicious. I enjoyed my burger but some of the fries were too salty for my taste. We stayed for a while and played a few games of pool and darts. So glad to see Fiddlers back in action! This local spot has reopened, and it's already feeling like a go-to neighborhood hangout again. Think sports bar meets pub--with tons of TV screens, a dartboard area, shuffleboard, and a refreshed bar setup that feels open, clean, and welcoming. They've also got an outdoor area, which is a nice touch. We've been a couple of times now. The French onion soup and Caesar salad are both solid staples--really flavorful and satisfying. This time, we stopped by for a casual dinner and decided to branch out a bit with the drinks. I tried the Citrus Paloma--it had a bold kick from the Cointreau that was a bit overpowering for my taste, but I appreciate the creativity and effort to offer something different. My other half went with a Bloody Mary--classic, and it hit the spot. For food, we had the Mediterranean salad with chicken, which was fresh, well-seasoned, and hearty. A great pick. I ordered the salmon BLT special--it's definitely a pesto-lover's dream, which I usually am, but that night I probably should've stuck with the comfort pub classics. Totally my call. Next time, I'll be back for that French onion soup, and probably the nachos or something off the regular menu. It's the kind of place where you want to post up for a game, grab a late dinner, and chill. The staff is genuinely nice, the crowd feels local, and I love that they stay open later than most places in Utah--a much-needed option for night owls. Here's hoping Fiddlers keeps thriving. This place is awesome! We arrived around 6:30 pm on opening night and and were promptly seated at a booth. There are plenty of tables and plenty of booths. Everywhere you look there is a TV playing a variety of sports: hockey, football, basketball, MMA, etc. There is also a full bar! My favorite drinks were the House Old Fashioned and the Spicy Pineapple Margarita. Food was also great! We had wings and pizza and everything came quickly - even during opening night! Food Service was super friendly and attentive. There is a back parking lot with lots of space and it was packed tonight. Still, there was plenty of street parking. The new owners have clearly put a ton of work into sprucing this place up and bringing it back to its glory. We are looking forward to coming back, enjoying more food and maybe watching a Formula 1 Grand Prix race! read more

My partner and I have been here a few times for dinner. We always get the fish and chips, they have the best in town. Their wings are also phenomenal, very crispy and flavorful. The beer is cheap and cold, and they have tons of options. The bar is cozy, and the service is always top notch. Our server tonight was elena was awesome! We had the most wonderful time here watching the Mammoth playoff game! We knew getting a table would be a long shot since it is so popular for hockey games, but the staff immediately went to work finding a place for us to squeeze in. Jordanna in particular is so kind and made us feel so welcome and taken care of. I've had several selections of food here, and each one was fantastic! Shout out also to the great brunch menu. Big beer and cocktail menu as well. Staff is friendly and attentive. The bartender Scottie is particularly professional and conscientious. This place is great as a sports bar, neighborhood pub, or business lunch/dinner spot. Went on a Sunday afternoon.Service good and friendly.Ordered the meat pizza ,tasty ,good overall. Wings were average . The not so good part were the drinks . House Bloody Mary had no flavor whatsoever and was watered down in a small cocktail glass.Bloody Marys should be served in a highball glass . The mimosa came in a half full glass , carbonation was weak and oj non existent.Type of drinks they would serve at a cheap casino back in the day . Overall it's pretty much the old Fiddlers, a little less clutter on the walls . We told the waitress about the drinks when she asked how everything was and seemed she seemed a little dismissive about it " that's how it's served " oh well . My Wife and Daughter are Gluten sensitive and they offer several items listed as Gluten-free with only a minimal upcharge. Under new ownership, technically, but there's lots of old blood... The place was always empty up front, the food wasn't great and it felt like you had snuck into a place after hours or something. It's even more awkward now, as if they're surprised you're there and sort of preferred you weren't. And the food's still not good. Such a bummer, Sugar House looks fresh and revived, this location is amazing, but the neighborhood has lost its soul, and this place has been reopened with zero fixes to their old problems. read more

We've been regulars at the old Fiddlers Elbow since they opened and watched the quality slowly decline until they closed. Pleased to see it reopen as just Fiddlers we gave it a try first and last time. The menu has been pared down to a page. Ordered wings they were undercooked probably frozen and dumped in the fryer. They failed to bring sauces or dressing until we asked. Tried the 19.00 pulled pork nachos, pork was bone dry and flavorless, finding any cheese was a major undertaking there may have been a teaspoonfull if lucky. My son tried the corned beef sandwich, the meat was so salty he could not consume it even when washing down with a beverage. Fiddlers is no Bueno for the Sugarhouse food scene. Side note: They did refund the wings which they rightfully should but still a two star is shooting high and that's just for the roomy interior. read more
