This review is 100% honest and I have pictures to show. I have, once again, blocked her number. She is also the owner of the salon and this speaks volumes of their service. No customer should be threatened and harassed over and over again for leaving an honest review. Update. After writing this review I have received 11 harassing texts from Stephanie (the lash artist). I simply asked she be professional and also to respect my privacy and leave me alone. This has been the worst experience ever! The second picture is 2 weeks after I got the lashes. It has been so incredibly painful. Meh. After driving up to what looked like the most janky building in Tucson I wasn't surprised to see the quality of the interior. The whole placed smelled of mildew. The lash quality looks good, but I could feel chunks of glue hitting my lower lash area when I closed my eyes. It's REALLY uncomfortable. The lashes started falling out the first day. I took extra care of them, but they kept falling out. I washed them gently with baby soap and huge chunks of glue came off. I'm kind of glad to have them fall out quickly because it was just painful having them on. I had Stephanie, and I'm sure she usually does a great job, but I'm sorry to say I wasn't impressed.

Not checked in or asked my name. Did not get the woman's name, either. The certificates on the wall were out of date. The woman doing the facial didn't have her materials organized and the supplies used were over the counter lotions and masks. The woman's phone was ringing loudly and she was not gentle or calm. The entire facial lasted 20 minutes. It was 20 min too long. I should have left when I was told to wrap a towel around myself and lay on top of the table NOT under a blanket. It seems like it was a random person giving a facial that had no professional experience.

She uses glue that lasts and lashes that are simply beautiful. I always get the classic lashes, but I've seen her hybrid and volume lashes, and they are marvelous. I see her about every 3 weeks. Her prices are very competitive and the quality is the best I've found. I wholeheartedly recommend you go see her if you want to get lashes for a special occasion or like me just do them on the regular. I always thought the expense was too much and even said out loud I'd never afford to do lashes for $60-something every 3-4 weeks, but I did it once and I'm hooked. And it's worth it! It saves SO much time getting ready in the mornings. I rarely use any makeup anymore because they create such a nice natural look. You have to brush the lashes and take care of them, but now that I've worked them into my lifestyle and budget, I plan to keep doing them for a while. Sorry, I just can't recommend, although the esthetician herself was talented and friendly enough. I purchased a 2 pack waxing from groupon, but wont be returning. And really, with all the non essential businesses being closed for weeks there was plenty of time to fix 'er up. Shame.

After the first time, it gets significantly easier, as long as you go regularly (every 4-6 weeks). During my last visit, I hardly felt a thing. So, don't let the fear of pain keep you from giving it a try! Ingrid makes it very quick and always uses the proper type of wax for your hair type/body region, so you're in good hands with her. She said she would email me all her notes and recommendations from the consultation and we did end up booking a Bio Repeel facial for a later date. I did not receive any follow up emails or instructions from her as she had promised. I tried reaching out to her by phone, text and via her website. There was no answer by phone, a bot (obviously) answered my texts and there was no response from my question via her webpage. This woman may know esthetics, but she does not know how to run a business. I'm very disappointed that I spent $50 for a skincare consultation and then never heard from her again. Go elsewhere for you beauty needs. I have canceled my Bio Repeel and will not use this business again.

Only thing I wish was that I was given a small hand towel or sheet to cover myself until the waxing started, similar to what's usually given to you when you're at the doctor's office. During that entire time, the employee was busy laughing and talking with another customer while my appointment time was being completely wasted. I understand that businesses can get busy, but making a customer wait for an entire hour without any communication or assistance is extremely unprofessional and disrespectful of my time. I came here for my first experience expecting good service, but I left very disappointed. I would not recommend this place based on my experience.
