Not only do…read moreI like the office itself including the waiting room and the friendliness of all the employees (every single one of them is truly amazing) and Dr Reyes too (Best I've ever had!) . The care I get is phenomenal. Their pricing is better than anybody else that I have happened to come across. I have had a couple of different procedures done especially replacing an implant and a bridge. It was something that nobody else was willing to touch and when I first met her on my first visit she didn't even hesitate to say yes and I am super glad that she did because she did amazing work. Each time I have gone in there for my regular visits and getting some different procedures done along with my cleanings the care I get is so above and beyond I couldn't ask for more. They do a great job making sure that I am comfortable and that I don't have any pain during my visit (which is super important to me because I have tender gums and I always need topical) Thank you thank you thank you for such a great experience every time I go in there. With all the growth we have all over the valley there are dentist offices in almost every plaza so if there's a problem at one office a patient has a ton of choices to pick from to go someplace else so it's super important that if they want a patient/customer to return then they have to earn it. Well at Delicate Dental I absolutely 1000% recommend this office and the entire staff and Dr Reyes. I wouldn't go anywhere else at all! Thank you thank you thank you

I won't forget how I was treated. I tried to make an appointment several times over the course of a…read moremonth. A girl named Rebekah spoke to me, and bless her heart, she just didn't seem to know anything, including how to spell my name over quite a few attempts of me telling her. She was not helpful and left me feeing frustrated with her demeanor. I left over 5 messages. Not only for the appointment scheduler, Renee, but also for the supervisor. Yes, I did ask to speak to a supervisor because I grew frustrated with not receiving a phone call back from Renee. I spoke to Rebekah three times and then I spoke to another lady who I can't remember the name of. (SHE was very helpful). But even after this, I never got a return call. Ridiculous. Apparently the supervisor made it very clear that I wasn't a priority and she did not want to speak to me or care for my concerns. She NEVER returned my calls, neither did Renee, and everytime I called in to ask to speak to her (5 times), she blew me off and I was told she was "in a meeting". If this is how they treat new patients, I can't imagine they would be very good at caring for my health and well being. I'd look elsewhere and find a dentist and staff that truly care about you and your concerns or even giving you something as basic as an appointment. Don't waste your time.

Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Communication Failures and Improper Cancellation of Scheduled…read moreProcedure I am sharing this publicly as a mother who cannot tolerate the negligence shown by this dental office. I have full proof of emails and documentation to support my experience. Speaking to them is like trying to explain the ABCs and numbers to someone--they simply cannot comprehend basic communication. On January 23, my son was seen for a consultation with Dr. Degan. X-rays revealed that a retained baby tooth needed extraction before his scheduled orthodontic brackets on January 30. This extraction was time-sensitive for proper orthodontic treatment. An appointment for extraction under anesthesia was scheduled for February 13. During the scheduling process, I felt rushed through paperwork and was not provided with full information. Despite repeated requests for anesthesiologist contact information to discuss questions about my son's care, the office repeatedly told me the anesthesiologist would only call the day before the procedure. After many attempts, I was finally able to speak with the anesthesiologist, who addressed all my questions and confirmed the procedure was cleared. Despite this, I was later informed that the appointment could not proceed because the office mistakenly reported that I had canceled it. As a result, the procedure was postponed, and no new date could initially be confirmed. At no point did I request to cancel the appointment. My concerns were solely about ensuring my son's safety and understanding the procedure. Miscommunication by the office caused unnecessary delay and stress. The negligence toward a child is deeply disturbing. Parents, especially those with children who have special needs, please be cautious when considering this practice. Misunderstandings here can have real consequences for a child's health and treatment. I am extremely grateful to my son's dentist and his orthodontist and their staff, whose responsiveness and efficiency expedited the referral and ensured my son could be seen sooner, helping to prevent further delay in his treatment. I hope there will be consequences for their undue actions and unprofessional behavior, as this level of negligence should not be ignored. I will continue to post, repost, and share my concerns with those I know who need care. Although this practice claims to prioritize safety and comfort, my experience indicates that it has not consistently met these standards. When I spoke with the office staff, I felt dismissed. Communicating during this process felt like driving into constant road rage--every attempt to explain myself was cut off before my point could be understood. When I spoke with the anesthesiologist, the conversation felt clear, direct, and reassuring. Questions were addressed efficiently, and we were able to understand each other in a straightforward way. It wasn't complicated. In contrast, interactions with the office staff and manager have felt rushed and procedural and requests for clarification or support seemed to be dismissed. This approach doesn't align with effective patient care. There's a noticeable difference between communication that supports understanding and engagement, and communication that simply goes through the motions. Clear, patient-centered communication makes a significant difference, and I hope this can be better reflected in the office experience. Many reviews mention that communication is key--and I wasn't surprised. The staff and manager lack it. It felt like walking into a swap meet: minimal explanation, abrupt offers, and little clarity. I didn't understand much of what was being said. In the end, I'm glad we didn't proceed with the procedure. There's no winning or losing here--it'a about patient safety and comfort. Fabrication and false claims about cancellation are serious matters and should be taken into consideration! I don't understand why something so simple--being able to speak with the anesthesiologist to ask questions or address concerns--has to be so difficult. It's not a major medical issue; it's just basic communication, and patients should be able to do this easily. By posting your business on Yelp, you acknowledge that the platform exists for people to post reviews and respond to others' feedback. "Despite decades of education and experience--beginning with his studies and career at NYU in 2003--what value does it hold if the only people you rely on are those you hire? I stand by my words as true and valid, because nothing is more important than my child. When a parent is not allowed to ask questions about the treatment process, it goes beyond mere oversight; it represents a fundamental failure to provide appropriate care from the very start." "How can they remain so calm and assured, as if nothing could stop them from mistreating others? Any values they may have once held seem meaningless compared to and false assurances they continue to provide."

Due to my daughter's complex case, I was on edge, nerves were bad, just a hot mess about "surgery" all together. However, Dr. Falk and his team were the absolute best! From the Front office staff, to the coordinators, the anesthesiologist and any and everyone we made contact with, were nothing short of amazing! I had questions galore! Even so, Dr. Falk and his team were very patient with me when explaining everything thoroughly so that I would understand and be secure in knowing my daughter was in good hands!! And that, she was! I would recommend 100%. Professional, knowledgeable and genuine kindness is very hard to find. It's here!!! Thank you all so much for everything during my daughter's treatment! We will be back soon for any more needed treatments!!!

My appointment was for my son, and he had a great experience, as well as myself organizing everything for him. Everyone was pleasant and seamlessly took us through appointments, emails, texts, pre-operation, forms, check ins, consultation, and post operation knowledge. Communication was spot on! I have to also make a special mention about the entire interior of the building. Their waiting lobby was highly relaxing with soft music, beautiful scenery pictures, and comfortable couches and chairs. The offices were the very same with a tranquil feeling. The whole establishment was very neat and clean, to say the least. We were impressed and extremely comfortable from our initial meeting with Doctor Yau. He took his time in explaining everything we needed to know, and not once made us feel rushed. He was very friendly, thorough, and supportive, being present for information and questions before and after surgery. Doctor Yau did a wonderful job and completed our whole staff experience, where anyone can tell that Canyon Oral & Facial Surgery holds the highest of standards for within their staff and for their customers, physical safety and mental wellbeing! I highly recommend Canyon Oral & Facial Surgery Summerlin location and Doctor Yau!
