I originally thought I needed a crown and wasn't happy with the work from my previous dentist in Southwest Las Vegas, so I decided to switch and come see Dr. Bianca Barin, DMD at her office off Tropicana--and I'm really glad I did. It was semi-busy around 12pm on a Monday, but the staff was friendly and courteous, and the wait time was still minimal. They accepted my Dental USA insurance, and I was in and out very quickly. The facility is a bit older, but it was comfortable and welcoming, with coffee and water available. Most importantly, Dr. Barin was honest and thorough. It turned out I didn't need a new crown at all--my existing crown just needed to be ground down a bit. I really appreciated the conservative approach instead of pushing unnecessary work. I'm so sad I moved away from this wonderful dentist office back to the Midwest, because I felt safe and well cared for here. It'll be hard to top this place, my childhood dentist has long since retired. I believe it was Dr. Mitchell Loo who did my last filling there, he was very kind and answered all my questions before the procedure. Impeccable bedside manner and he put me instantly at ease. Plus, they are financially reasonable: you can split your bill into monthly payments for more expensive procedures, and the cleaning/xray combo was less than $150 for people without dental insurance (like me). I just got my wisdom teeth removed here, so far they've been very attentive! I was nervous because I didn't fully agree for anesthesia and the surgeon was nice to explain why he was recommending it and the cons based on how my teeth were located. The receptionist was super nice as well because she noticed how nervous I was. I did come before for teeth cleaning and x-rays they were super nice as well and explained anything I was hesitant about. I found you guys through my insurance website. There was an "Emergency" dental appointment available so I hopped on it. From the first minute to the last, I felt supported, heard, seen, and helped. Holly and Sequoia in the front were so helpful! The gal (I missed her name, but she's new and her dental brackets look like cute tooth gems) who took my X-rays was warm, friendly, and is gonna get that position as a hygienist one day! And then, my dentist, Bianca! Omg, I loved her. She was all smiles, making jokes, and took care of a complaint I had about my tooth being a little scratchy, like immediately. This place is a Scam Absolutely horrible experience not once but twice! They had put my information wrong into there system so Arturo canceled my second appointment and I said why would have canceled it when I came the first time I gave you all the correct information and he became combative and rude! He's the office manager I was shocked so I called and spoke with the dentist Brakkon Garrett!!! I told him I was upset they way Arturo and he said happy fun day Friday I said excuse me! He said is there anything else I said no if you don't care about how your employee is treating people I guess I will go somewhere else! Many years ago, I broke a rear molar almost in half on a Friday. I was freaking out and really wanted to get this fixed. I called about twenty dentist offices in town and they all said Monday is the earliest we can see you. Spring Valley Dentist called me back immediately and said that they could get me in on a Saturday. A crown was needed and it was made right there within hours. I came here for several years and because of one awful experience I am moving my care to a different office. For all the times I did come here it was pretty decent. Also the Office Manager Arturo Z. was awful trying to resolve the error of one of their dentist. I am specifically calling him out because his customer service was non existent. Don't know where to start!!! Referred by a friend.....as "ok" office with decent rates! After the usual check in nothing was right. The X- ray tech,pretty sloppy and not professional. Then they came with some numbering which was useless and unexplainable. Then the real deal-after I told them haven't been to dentist for a while they decided to rip me off!!! I went with no complaints,just for basic cleaning! Due to me saying haven't visit dentist in a while,they say I need "deep" cleaning!!!? Was informed because late appointment and the length of the treatment they will clean half of my teeth and have to sign for use of anesthetic. After I have signed and made payment,they say the "doctor" will do all of my teeth! B. Garrett came in and did it in 25 min!!! Was told due to length wouldn't be able to complete it in ones! No "deep"cleaning at all,just basic on 5 time higher price! But wait....the doctor was so incompetent of doing it that through the whole process the water was running down my neck. When finally got up my shirt was so wet,had to drive home shirtless to save spotting my car seat! While was wandering why that "deep" cleaning doesn't feel any different than a basic one,the polishing lady came in! What a disaster! She was constantly dropping polishing paste on the floor and so unprofessional in doing it that left all my back teeth so rough that can't stand it! I had a bad tooth infection. Dr. Evans is the worse dentist ever. He pulled out the wrong tooth. 07/25/23, a second visit to extract teeth 31 and 5. At the front office, they had me sign a consent for this procedure. They read it to you and never offered you a copy. She read extracts 31 and 5. I signed, and you can't even see your signature. After the Novocain wore off, I could still feel tooth 31. I thought maybe I missed understood him. The pain progressed and got worse. Now the injection sites have become infected. Finally, I found my paperwork on 07/2723 and realized I didn't misunderstand. He pulled the wrong tooth. My husband called the following day, 07/28/23 (because I could not talk).to speak to the spring valley dentist and told them he had pulled the wrong tooth. They gave me an appt for 07/28/23 at 1:00 pm 07/28/23: we went in, and again they had me sign a consent that I could not read and was not given a copy of to have Dr. Evans see me. Dr. Evans stated he had to pull tooth 31, telling me to remember we discussed that I could not save this tooth and it had to be removed. I said I remember, and the tooth is still in my mouth. He said I removed it. I explained that you pulled the wrong tooth. He laid back the chair to examine me. My husband Troy said to look at the x-rays they just took today, showing you that the tooth is still there. Dr. Evans pulled up the X-rays, realized he had made a mistake, and started backpedaling, saying that the tooth had to come out anyway. Well, on the treatment plan, tooth number 30 is not mentioned once, and we also discussed on 07/21/23 that tooth number 30 was OK and he did not need to pull it. Dr. Evans is just trying to come up with reasons for what happened. I was in a lot of pain and started to cry. We left the office with me very upset and crying. I called the office back on 07/28/23 at 2:17 pm and told the girl who answered the phone (I think it was G.G) that I wanted Dr. Evans to refer me to an oral surgeon and to be put under and have the correct tooth pulled on Saturday 07/29/23 at his expense. Dr. Evans called me back on 07/28/23 at 5:27 pm and said he could pull the tooth out in his office and give me Xanax or Valium. I said no, I cannot take those meds because they will make me throw up. He said he has laughing gas. I asked if I would feel pain with that, and he said no. He also told me he would not charge me money, no issue; he wants me out of pain. He transferred me to the front office person to schedule an appointment for Monday, 07/31/23, at 2:30 pm. 07/31/23: I went to my appointment, and they gave me laughing gas, which I had to take off because it made me nauseous. I felt the injections into my swollen face, and the infection spread. The tooth was pulled. My husband asked him if he would give me any medications for the infection because it was so bad. He said there was nothing I could give her. She can not take pain meds because they make her sick. I . I can give her extra Novocain injections, which will last another 5 or 6 hours, and I said no. The laughing gas made me very ill, and I was so sick the next day that I tried to go to work but had to leave. 08/01/23 at 9:33 am, I received a phone call from Walgreens pharmacy. My prescription was ready to be picked up. I did not have any drugs because that is what we were told. Dr. Evans called in Clindamycin. We picked up the meds that day. Dr. Evans, so money was not the issue, and he would not charge me. He billed my insurance company for the date of service, 07/28/23. He billed my insurance for pulling tooth 30, which he did not have my consent to do. He also billed my insurance co for 0.7/31/23, telling me he would not charge me. So I am out of the dental benefits he charged me for, which he should not have, and out of the money I paid him to pull the wrong tooth. I missed four days at work and an extra week of the pain and the infection spread. I could not eat or talk. He billed my dental insurance after he knew he pulled wrong tooth. I got a lawyer and going to sue. I wrote the Nevada dental board and reported him read more

My first appointment was in august 2016; fantastic experience. Returned for a cleaning today and mentioned a trauma incident I had when I was in 7th grade that led to discussion and personalized assessment as to the extent of the damage to that tooth. Dr. Evans explained the options and said that I could come back for a root canal or it could be today. I decided to go through with it same day. He walked me through and explained the steps of the process and answered any questions I had. Was a great experience- nothing like the horror-ridden root canal stories I've heard from so many people. Dr. Evans is the greatest he is the most enjoyable Dentist that give a person like myself that has needle phobia a calm mind when he needs to puncture my gums w morphine to where I feel relaxed a do not have to be put to sleep. But my experience today 03/22/2024 w/ new office personnel (Auturo) the so called New Office Manager is not very people friendly he had to let it be know he was the " new one" when i politely asked if Gee Gee was in the back. I felt the thr services that I received was pushed onto pushed on my insurance. Meaning Auturo was not giving the insurance an option to do regular cleaning as the Dr. did say I needed a deep cleaning even though they would pay for a regular cleaning as well. But just because the Dr. said he perfers I received a deep cleaning Auturo Spring Valley will only issue a claim to my insurance for the deep cleaning which is my money. Yes I called Humana before i left the office to find out if what Auturo was say was true no he was wrong Humana would of paid for whatever as I'm due a regular cleaning per year. But Auturo actually asked me to leave the office because I didnt want to hear his fibs no more of his acting like my insurance was his my per se. I asked my insurance to send me a new list of Dentist in front of him to choose from. I believe that why he acted like he was throwing me out the office. I guess since Gee Gee either retired or left this off is no longer going to be as hospitable as it use to be. This is the best dentist office I have ever been to in my lifetime. Everyone was so nice and helpful and they all really enjoy what they do. The dentist Dr Evans was very personable and really wants to know his patients. He has a steady hand and makes you feel completely comfortable as he explains what he needs to do. All the staff was absolutely wonderful. I had to get an onlay on one of my molars which requires Novocain shots and drilling but it was a good experience as the dentist and his staffs professionalism and knowledge shines through making it a positive experience. while most associate going to the dentist as a bad thing this was a good thing! I give nothing but PRAISE, appreciation and recommendations to this dentist. Doctor GiGi is a god sent. I am petrified of the dentist and sadly because of this I have poor dental care and had a frontal emergency. They had compassion with me and didn't judge me for the mess I am in. They are patient and check in many times for comfort. I can't express the gratitude I have for them for being so kind and understanding. For the first time in my dental history I had not been hurt. I was cared about and it was life changing. This was not a cheap fix and I have lots more work required. The payment plans they off for cash patients is wonderful and so very helpful. Beware this Dentist. He commits Insurance Fraud by over billing and performing duplicate unneeded services. Openly admitted to me that he charges higher than his usual and customary fees to my insurance Company because Dental Dental does not pay him enough. His staff have you sign on the signature pad at the front desk but don't show you what you are signing. When you ask what you are signing for, they casually say "it's just a consent for today's service" and do not tell you that on their computer screen, is a list of services they are going to perform during that appointment. When I complained to the dentist and his office manager about not giving consent for some of the services. Dentist says that I consented when I signed the plan of service when his staff go over the treatment plan. Not once did the staff go over a treatment plan prior to service. Then several months later charged my insurance company a consultation fee for the time they listened to my complaint. It is hard to know what the Dentist or his Hygienist are doing to your mouth during the treatment. But once its done, there is no going back. I am usually not easily fooled but when I go to the Dentist, I am always very scared and don't have my normal wits about me. This Dentist doesn't have enough experience at preventative treatment. I trusted this Dentist because he seemed like a nice person, but don't be fooled. He is a money grubber. read more

Phenomenal! I haven't been able to see the dentist in forever, I finally made an appointment with this office. I had 2 last week, it was hands-down the best experience I have ever had. They were wonderful with my six-year-old daughters & completely changed my smile. They patiently explained the work that I needed done and gave advice, all while making me feel good about my teeth. I teared up when I got home yesterday and saw that I have a pretty smile for the first time in my life. I still have some more work to do, but after a cleaning, root planing & scaling, and whitening treatments I took home, my teeth are astoundingly different and my gums are healthy. I don't recommend this place I started going to them with pain in a molar in June 2017 We are in January 2018 and still have the same pain. All my dentist was recommending me was the quarterly cleaning! I refused the cleaning because I did not go as a walk in for that but for pain. I asked them, will it help with the pain?
