However, as an existing patient, the next appt they had available was 8 1/2 months out. Stop accepting new patients if you can not handle the ones that you already have. It's a slap in the face. It's also a zoo when you go in there. It's very hectic and I've never seen the same hygienist more than once. They also have an annoying habit of pestering you. For example, I had a 1pm appt. I was parking the car and at 1:01pm I get a call asking if I'm still coming. However, on multiple visits I've waited in the lobby 15 minutes past the appointment time to be taken in. So they are fine with making you wait but 1 minute late on your part and it's an issue.

They are money hungry and do not know how to properly check your dental insurance benefits. They also do not know how to read insurance benefits that is clearing printed out in front of them! Prior to my appointment I called to verify that they had my dental plan on file. They said that they would call and proceeded to tell me that I had no benefits outside of basic cleaning. I brought to the office my dental plan coverage and Patty at the front desk, said my dental insurance only covered until the age of 14. That they had already called my insurance and my medical is paired with my dental. Informed her I pay for my dental separate from my medical. She still insisted it didn't cover anything and to call my insurance. I called my dental plan and my insurance representative called the dental office to confirm that they did not call the right insurance number to verify coverage. Stay away from this office that just tries to make you pay for services without checking your dental benefits!!!

We walked in and were greeted by the receptionist who was super nice. She checked us both in and said they would be right up to get us and to have a seat in their lounge and have a refreshment while we waited. Their waiting room is very clean and modern with coffee, tea, water, coconut water and vitamin water. I chose a coconut water so I could share with my service dog Hanzo. It's his favorite. The exam rooms are also very nice with tv screens on the wall as well as the ceiling so you can watch whatever position you are in. They also offered me headphones to listen to while I was waiting for the anesthetic to kick in. My husband only had an initial exam so he was done first. He came to sit with me once he was done. He said his doctor was very nice. I think he said it was Dr. Naweed. i was treated by Dr. Dela Cruz. She is the prettiest and nicest dentist I've ever had. She really listened to everything I told her about my medical history and she went through my file ahead of time and remembered so much of it. She seems to really care. She has also texted me to check in on me after my appointment and let me know I can call her anytime if I need to. Im so glad that i found an office for me and my husband that I don't mind going to. At first I was embarrassed by my teeth but Dr. Masons team never made me feel ashamed. They welcomed me and made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Mason himself was also very kind and also very informative. He really takes the time to explain and answer any questions you have. I ended up having to have a root canal which he did that day. I now have a dental plan and he is working with me to get my teeth healthy again. They offer different payment plans and a few different options for loans. But right up there at the top of my list, is the way I am treated at this office. Everybody is friendly, kind and patient. All those things you look for in a dentist office. I had an appointment to get my permanent crown and then the pandemic hit. Everybody closed down. So of course my appointment was canceled. Once they re-opened, I felt that I should wait until the people who had more pressing issues were seen since my crown was doing just fine. Cut to a little over a year later... my temporary crown is still hanging on! If that isn't a testament to good work, I don't know what is!!!! I requested to have the work done when I got back from vacation so he did a temporary fix to get me by. Today I had my crown done. He told me I might need a root canal, but we wouldn't know until we got there. But they did send in a pre-authorization to my insurance to see how much I would end up paying so there was no surprise. The only surprise was, he said I did not need the root canal which made me super happy. So don't think for one minute they just bill you for stuff you don't need. A lot of damage has happened in two years unfortunately so I will be going there probably once every other month until the end of the year. But that's OK. I'm glad I have the insurance again and I'm able to go back to them because I'd rather go nowhere than not go to them. Once you find a dentist, you trust, you stay there. I completely trust these people.. I trust them to do the work and do the work right, I also trust that they will not do unnecessary work just to bill me. I have never had a problem with any of their work. Quite honestly, I think that sometimes people may not listen to instruction, and that is why they lose crowns or fillings or things like that. I was told not to go crazy with my water pick, and not to eat crunchy or sticky food with my crown right now. She also said do not avoid it either or I can make the tissue get inflamed.
