As a new patient, Kenya started by taking my dental X-rays, then Dr. Dar completed a thorough exam. Afterward, Kenya polished and flossed my teeth before Dr. Dar performed an excellent ultrasonic cleaning, finishing with some light manual scaling. The cleaning was genuinely one of the best I've ever had. It was thorough, comfortable, and exactly what I expect from a professional dental cleaning. My teeth had actually been properly cleaned. I also appreciated the small touches at the end, including being sent home with a toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss. There were no surprise charges, I wasn't pressured into any cosmetic or major out-of-pocket services, and the entire office made a very positive first impression. It should come as no surprise that I scheduled my six-month follow-up before leaving. Dr. Dar, Kenya, and the entire Elevate Dental team have earned a new long-term patient. Highly recommended.

It's also a zoo when you go in there. It's very hectic and I've never seen the same hygienist more than once. They also have an annoying habit of pestering you. For example, I had a 1pm appt. I was parking the car and at 1:01pm I get a call asking if I'm still coming. However, on multiple visits I've waited in the lobby 15 minutes past the appointment time to be taken in. So they are fine with making you wait but 1 minute late on your part and it's an issue.

She declined and requested just a regular cleaning, but was told they could not do that since it would be a disservice to her. My wife is overly protective of her teeth, so it was shocking that they said she would need that, but even more shocking they would not perform a regular cleaning as requested. As consumers we need to watch out for each other and not allow companies to take advantage of us. Hopefully someone reads this and doesn't allow this business to take their money for something they do not need. We will request a copy of x-rays, periodontal chart, and a written plan explaining why a standard cleaning was not appropriate. We will get a second opinion and if they do not align, we will report this to the dental board for being unethical.

But right up there at the top of my list, is the way I am treated at this office. Everybody is friendly, kind and patient. All those things you look for in a dentist office. I had an appointment to get my permanent crown and then the pandemic hit. Everybody closed down. So of course my appointment was canceled. Once they re-opened, I felt that I should wait until the people who had more pressing issues were seen since my crown was doing just fine. Cut to a little over a year later... my temporary crown is still hanging on! If that isn't a testament to good work, I don't know what is!!!! I was waiting for the little crown that could to put up a fight when it was being taken out.. Plink!! Popped right out! (thank God it didn't happen when I was eating! I am still going to Welch dentistry. I went for a couple years without insurance and things are happening. I broke off a chunk of my molar a week before vacation. I called them up at 3:30 on a Wednesday afternoon and they got me in at 8 AM on Thursday morning. I requested to have the work done when I got back from vacation so he did a temporary fix to get me by. Today I had my crown done. He told me I might need a root canal, but we wouldn't know until we got there. But they did send in a pre-authorization to my insurance to see how much I would end up paying so there was no surprise. The only surprise was, he said I did not need the root canal which made me super happy. So don't think for one minute they just bill you for stuff you don't need. A lot of damage has happened in two years unfortunately so I will be going there probably once every other month until the end of the year. But that's OK. I'm glad I have the insurance again and I'm able to go back to them because I'd rather go nowhere than not go to them. Once you find a dentist, you trust, you stay there. I completely trust these people.. I trust them to do the work and do the work right, I also trust that they will not do unnecessary work just to bill me. I have never had a problem with any of their work. Quite honestly, I think that sometimes people may not listen to instruction, and that is why they lose crowns or fillings or things like that. I was told not to go crazy with my water pick, and not to eat crunchy or sticky food with my crown right now. She also said do not avoid it either or I can make the tissue get inflamed.
