They also sell jars for storing spices, cookbooks, etc. I've been to other locations, but the 74th St location is my closest shop. I can't even remember when they moved in but it's always been well maintained and well stocked. Herbs and spices up front, baking goodies in the back. I love the little kitchen nook that baking items are displayed on, reminds me of my grandmas kitchen. They are staffed by friendly and helpful employees who love cooking and baking as much as everyone else. Don't hesitate to ask questions or for suggestions. Penzys also has sales a couple of times per year. Sometimes it's free items with a specific purchase amount, sometimes a discount.
