Quick stop to get groceries and other items for a party that i was throwing on the weekend and we found all that we were looking for in abundance. Helpful folks who helped us locate all the items and very friendly cashiers as well. Great experience and if i happen to be in the area again i would definitely stop by for another round of groceries or two. The only gripe is that the items are priced up (15-25% higher)compared to the other stores, though the proximity that we have to this store kind of makes up for that increment. I will not be going back there again. The store owner jacked up the price on the items that I was interested in on two occasions. Prices had been listed on the shelves, but he said these items were "Special" and it took effort to make them. Upon asking him why he hadn't listed the correct price in the first place, he became rude. He added that I should be grateful to have these foods in the first place. read more

Prices for some items are insanely expensive compared to other Indian stores which are few miles away. Ex: 20LB laxmi sona masoori rice bag is $23 at this store and $15 at Trinetra which is like 5 mins drive away from here. I didn't expect this huge price difference. I have been coming here from 4 years and took so many groceries including sona masoori rice bags and owner also recognizes me as a regular customer. After I got to know about this when I went and asked him, he first of all didn't expect that I will ask him like that and he didn't know what to say. Just visited once to use my Amex card small shop offer. The prices are rocket high, I was just shocked after looking at the prices. The curry leaves packet was 1.99$ but else where it is 99$ of same quantity. But they do have labelled prices of most of the items. It is a small store with limited space between shelves. Don't take baby strollers inside, it is difficult to push in those small spaces. I really don't had good experience.Sorry, I will never visit this store again. read more

Great neighbourhood market. They have most everything I need to prepare my biryani. I also ordered puri's which was great because I didn't have to cook it! The vegetables look fresh, especially the jumbo sweet guavas! Visit them for delicious fresh roti's which is my go to for all three meals. read more

All the items are marked up compared to any other Indian grocery store. Paneer was priced 2$ more than elsewhere, dosa batter 1$ more, uncooked roti 1$ more. I would avoid regular grocery shopping from here. On the positive side they do carry decent fresh indian food. read more

Stale food with no "sell by" dates on the boxes. I purchased a box of Indian sweet ladoo for my wife today and it was stale and was unfit for human consumption. She was very disappointed. Avoid buying sweets from here that are packed in plastic containers with no sell by date stickers. Wanted to support this local business, but was very disappointed to find they don't care about quality of the items they sell. I suspect they intentionally avoid putting sell by date stickers on food items. What a shame. read more

Fresh produce including bitter melon, also made the most incredible Pani Puri myself with the ingredients suggested by staff. Actually what I described to the woman was Dahi Batata Sev Puri and that's exactly what I made mixing the pani puri water with the yogurt was AMAZING. thank you to this store I will be back soon!!!!!! read more

I rarely go to this store. But unfortunately I went this place this morning to buy few items, and also picked Methi-Thepla. The packets says $5.99 and I was charged $7.49 for this item. When I noticed and pointed out the cashier, he first said what is charged is correct. When I showed him the price on packet he behaved as him he is doing favor to me returning the extra he charged. When I asked him will u pay pay extra for any item urself he said No. How can he charge his customer more then they quoted. This place cheats, so go over your bill and item price. Also make sure the item is not expired. I have encounter multiple incidence this store , but decided to write first time as I felt its not about $1.50 extra charge, its also my responsibility to make other consumers aware about how they treat their customers and fool them. read more

I sometimes go here for the samosas and bajjis that are made everyday evening. The prices for grocery items are crazy high. Each item is 1-2$ more than other Indian stores so total bill is easily $10 more every time. They also have fresh made chapatis, parathas and curries everyday. I have tried them and the curries are too oily for my liking. I think this place gets it's traffic due to the freshly made food and snacks mostly. read more

Wayyy high price compared to other places. Some of the employees don't wear mask saying its very uncomfortable. The owner doesn't say anything. Update : everything we bought is bad from here..the daals were old and didn't taste right, the peas had worms inside, the rice was old. They basically sold 300 dollar worth of stuff during the pandemic that was old. Shame on you. We went there last weekend and I was very disappointed to see two unmasked young men working on a bicycle to the left of the cash registers. They might have been friends or relatives of the store owner. While we were there, another bearded guy rushed into the store, shouted greetings to the cashiers and went towards the back room. I assume, he is either an employee or in some way related to the owner! This is a tiny store where social distancing is near impossible!! Why are there so many folks in there without masks?? Stopped in on a Sunday to pick up some chili spice and fresh ginger. This is a cute little shop that has all your needs. They especially have a nice variety of spices, fresh veggies, some paneer and other dairy also...they have sweets and some fresh Samosas I noticed too.
