Design Miter Tile remodeled our bathrooms, kitchen and more. And we replaced all flooring with engineered wood, carpeting or porcelain tile. We are very pleased with the results. Daniel Zaragoza and his crew were timely, reliable, careful, thorough, and clean. He isolated the work area with plastic to prevent dust from getting into the rest of the house. They cleaned up before the end of the day. They are very respectful of our home and we valued his experience, taste, and suggestions. Other craftsmen or guests that saw the work complimented the tile work and the paint job. Daniel is one of the most upbeat persons I've ever met! Even when one city inspector was being difficult, he reacted positively and professionally. I highly recommend Design Miter Tile for any remodeling work! We have personally recommended him to our family and friends. Again, we so pleased with our "new" home!

Benefit of working with Design Miter Tile is that they fabricate stonework. Look at the terrific edging on our backsplash and countertop.

Design Miter Tile has the resources and capabilities of a large company AND the personalization and attention to detail of a small firm. The owner, Daniel, was a teammate throughout the process. After the initial meeting, he sent me an outline of dates for the various project crews as well as payment dates which helped with budgeting. I could count on him every step of the way to help me understand technical details as I was designing the spaces. He went above and beyond to locate our countertop stone so that it would match with stonework installed in other areas of our home. Each of his teams and specialized subcontractors were polite, on time and masters of their trade. Even my older teens commented how impressed and comfortable they were with Daniel's crew during the month they were here. Design Miter Tile remodeled our entire guest bathroom and downstairs laundry cabinet and sink. Inspections with city went seamlessly. I'll let Daniel's work speak for itself through the photos. Highly recommend.

They handled the entire project from demo including a small wall, custom vanity, plumbing, addition of pony wall, steam unit installation, and marble fabrication. We purchased our material in Santa Clara and Felix picked everything up for us, and kept our calacatta viola slab in his shop until it was time to fabricate. They did an excellent job with our marble, making sure to use every inch of the slab. I am so impressed w the fabrication of our integrated sinks. They implemented everything I asked for and had great suggestions for design ideas. Fernando also provided a rendering of the space and I added a pic in comparison to the actual space and they look identical! I am so happy that the project came out exactly like we designed. We are having Felix quote more projects, and would highly recommend FL Granite and Marble to any neighbors and friends.

They installed the cabinets that I sourced from another company (although they also manufacture their own cabinets in-house), and everything was installed to spec with the trim pieces cut perfectly to match. For the countertops, I sourced my own quartzite slabs, and F&L handled the rest. They picked up the slabs, created the templates based on my cabinets, fabricated everything, and completed the installation. The templating team also went above and beyond to make sure my expensive slabs were used as efficiently as possible with virtually nothing wasted. They took the time to help me plan the layout so the veining flowed naturally across the countertops and backsplash, which made a huge difference in the final result. As someone who had never gone through this process before, I really appreciated their patience and attention to detail. A special shout-out to Fernando, who was my representative throughout the project. He was professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and incredibly patient with all of my questions and design changes. He made the entire experience smooth from start to finish and always took the time to answer my calls. I highly recommend the team at F&L Granite. They truly went above and beyond to keep my project on schedule while delivering the best price, outstanding craftsmanship and customer service.

We are the owners and designers of a nearly 4,000 square foot high-end home in Marin County for…read morewhich we recently completed new construction. We hired a general contractor and agreed to use all of their selected subcontractors except for a small subset we insisted on selecting ourselves, including Custom Stone. Custom Stone came highly recommended by multiple stone suppliers and other fabricators in the Bay Area. The scope of our stone installation was large and it was critically important that we select a fabricator who had experience with higher-end homes and highest-quality installations. Our scope included a master bathroom consisting of a double vanity, an 8' tall all-slab master shower and an undermounted roman master bathtub; a large kitchen with multiple stone surfaces including a 12' x 9' island; two guest bathrooms with marble slab vanities; a guest bathroom all-slab shower; an all-slab marble surround and hearth for a 42" fireplace; a custom designed and constructed semi-precious slab backlit bar; and an outdoor BBQ counter with Neolith. At the outset of the project, Custom Stone joined us during trips to various stone yards, advised us on the considerations of different materials, and helped us to obtain the most competitive pricing with their relationships. During the fabrication process, Custom Stone sent us multiple detailed design mock-ups and welcomed us to participate in the process. They recently invested in state-of-the-art fabrication equipment and technology that enables Contractors and Owners to see exactly what output they can expect, and to efficiently and flexibly provide input into the design and configuration decisions. For example, their new 3-D Laser measuring system and real-time digital vein-matching software allowed us to approve our slab layout before the fabrication started. Custom Stone's CNC waterjet cutting machine enabled exceptionally precise cuts on the material that we didn't find possible with other fabrication firms, allowing Custom Stone to produce the highest-quality end products for our project. Custom Stone's work is uncontestably one of the highlights of the new home and has significantly enhanced its aesthetic and value. We cannot speak highly enough of their work and the process of working with them. They worked and collaborated well with other trades/subcontractors, offered up creative solutions and demonstrated an unwavering commitment to quality. When we were selecting our stone subcontractor, we considered five (5) criteria in the following stack-ranked order: (1) precision in design and craftsmanship, and attention to detail; (2) knowledge of products/materials; (3) design skill in assembling pieces to create contiguous and less visible seams; (4) use of current technology and tools; and (5) reliable and on schedule. Custom Stone achieved the highest marks across all five criteria. We would certainly recommend and hire them again for whatever scope project we consider in the future.

I was in a unique situation as my house is new and was just built 2 years ago. However, the builder wouldn't let me upgrade to a waterfall countertop, so I knew it was something I would always want to install later on. Osiel and team came out a couple days after I reached out to them and evaluated my existing island counter. They gave me a quote a few hours later and we worked together to ensure I could locate a slab to match my existing one. I was able to find it all the way in Livermore, and they agreed to go out there to pick it up for me (I paid them gas money in return, since it was a long journey). After they picked up the slab, they came to my house a few days later and installed everything within a few hours. They did proper prep and clean up, and I was blown away with the results. I LOVE my new waterfall countertops and am so thankful I reached out to Rodriguez Marble & Granite to get it done. Additionally the crew of guys was very kind and polite -- they did a fabulous job! Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for countertop installation, and I will definitely reach out to them for future jobs.

They were quick and super efficient. They came in, measured out the template and we met them within an hour at their shop to place the template on the slab. The quartzite I bought had shades of beige & grey veins throughout. The decision of where to put the seam was difficult. We needed the 2 pieces to match at the seam and the slabs were not colored the same at the seam area. Gregorio assured us that he would match the seam without issue, the color would be no problem. He was so right. The end result is stunning. You can not tell there is a seam unless you look very closely and you know where to look. He also beat his estimate to have my countertop ready by several days, which was super awesome as the contractor was finished with other tasks and was ready for the countertop installation. He spent time to tell me how to care for my countertop at the end of the installation. I could not be happier, I wish there was a 6 star rating.
