Walked in said hello, was ignored. Looked at the bags on the wall, asked if there were others. Sales clerk replied there's more there. There were some things marked down considerably. Found a bag with no price. Hoped it was a deal. Asked if she knew the price. She huffed and said she would have to look it up. Waited patiently for price. She maintained conversations with others in the store,no problem of course, but thought it was odd that I wasn't even greeted. While waiting for the price, she helped someone else. She found the price of $36 which was ok but wasn't in love with it. I said, thanks have a nice day. No thanks for coming in, no goodbye. Don't understand the rudeness and snobbery. The second thing is that it is a great location for buying unusual gifts - scarves, jewelry etc. and the final thing which is very important to me, is that this helps the environment. I'm only giving it one star bc it's required. I've never been to this business and it wouldn't even cross my mind to do so now. A few weeks ago, I was going to one of the businesses that shared the same parking lot. A woman comes running out and yells at the lady parked next to me and I about how we are not allowed to park there. The ENTIRE strip. Mind you it's empty and there's only ONE car parked in front of the "reserve only" sign. NO WHERE does it say you CANNOT park there. NOTHING nice came out of this woman. The person who parked next to me and I asked why we can't park there? No explanation, just screaming we can't park there and that she's going to call the police. There's absolutely no need for that at all. If this is how she talks to people who are not her customers, I can only imagine how rude she can be. She's supposed to represent the establishment. I've been in the plaza multiple times and I don't see any cars there but the same one in the same spot today. There is a kinder way to explain to people why clients can't they can't park there. There should be a sign if you don't want people parking in "your" spots. Absolutely ridiculous how she handled it. If no one supposed to or cannot park there, there should be signs just like the two reserved signs AND our cats were in front of other businesses not in front of theirs. read more

To be honest, I am not a consignment store afficionado. Wearing clothes that once belonged to someone else is generally not something that I want to do. I should probably just get over myself on that account. But I do love a good hunt for unique and interesting things (find me a great yard-sale or antique store and I'm there) so when a friend of mine, who is a consignment shop lover, came to visit for the weekend, off we went to check this place out. We found a tiny treasure trove of "better"clothes, accessories, handbags and jewelry. I thought there was a really nice selection of items that were chosen with some care. This is not a place where any old thing is accepted for resale. There were some good higher end labels and even a few vintagy pieces. There were a couple of cases of jewelry. Everything looked clean and in good shape. The store is laid out nicely and the prices were very reasonable. The real draw however just might be the shop owner...I'm sorry to say I have forgotten her name! But she was so much fun to talk to, helpful, chatty and ready to bargain. A couple of other customers came in and the scene became downright convivial. My friend found a great handbag that she adores. And I found a really great dragonfly brooch. It felt like the joining of two of my favorite things: pins and insects, especially dragonflies. I've gotten lots of compliments! Worth checking out for sure. You'll have some fun and maybe even find a little treat. read more

I grew up on consignment clothes and love to hunt for really nice pieces that I would not otherwise be able to afford. This place is great for supplementing any wardrobe with designer pieces. I even found a well-tailored suit that fit me perfectly to wear to a job interview (I am NOT a suit person). Of course, I got the job). As far as consignment shops go, this store (and its sister store, Two Doors Down), is a winner- clothes are all in great shape, neat jewelry finds, high-end shoes, and helpful staff. read more

This store is off the charts awesome. It is the Ritz of consignment stores. Awesome prices and it is my number one pick for consignment shops in the area. However consider yourself warned and be prepared -- the staff is cold and dismissive. It would seem that working with the public irritates them and it comes across loud and clear. They act as if they are doing you a favor by letting you shop here. Otherwise well worth the visit. read more

Designer Consigner has one of the best selections of upscale used clothing anywhere, and the associated sale store, Two Doors Down, is amazing! Everything for $5 or $10! The only reason for the paltry 2 stars is that the owner,while knowledgeable and helpful if she seems to like you, can be very rude to customers and is often moody and disagreeable. My friends and I will only shop there if the owner is not onsite. Unfortunate,that such a cool place is run by someone with poor customer service. read more

For anyone that is interested in selling with designer consignor, I would strongly advice against it. I have used this business 3 times and will never go back. The first time, I only dropped off a few items and made a decent profit so I was very happy with my experience, aside from the owner's less than pleasant demeanor. The second and third time, my combined total was very low and simply did not seem to add up. When I requested to take my items that did not sell back (something I did not do the first time) it was a very difficult process. I was told to try to find them myself and they seemed to be no where to be found. I think this seems awfully strange that nothing could be located including designer jeans and jackets that should have been pretty easy to find. She said maybe they got donated since it was already past the 2 months since dropping them off. I would like to note that when I came in the first time it was within the two month time period and my items were not in store and it does not make sense to me that you would donate citizen jeans and hudson jeans when those are items that could sell at any time. This is a lesson learned on my part, but I hope no one else chooses this consignment shop when their are many more with owners that are more honest and pleasant to work with. read more

This little shop is a treasure trove and I never know what I'll find there--the only sure thing is friendly ladies, a cheerful and engaging proprietress, and pretty things at a steal. Each time I visit I find something lovingly worn but upscale and in excellent condition. Though I've not sold through her yet, she seems very organized and able to track items consignors have put on the floor. Rosanne will be honest about the fit if you ask, I love how the pants are displayed by one belt-loop--makes for fast perusing. You'll find Lululemon, Athletica, Prana, gorgeous items from expensive New York and LA boutiques, jackets, coats, cashmere, better T-shirts, skirts, dresses, and shoes and boots of all stripes. I got a lovely new pair of leopard-print Ugg moccasins last year, gorgeous Diane Von Furstenburg riding boots, and a terrific embroidered smoking jacket with its original tags ($400) for $75. Rosanne also has lovely costume and fine jewelry, as well as sunglasses, scarves, and gloves. read more
